This was our second trip to the Cannon Beach Smokehouse. We had the duck, Brie and pear board the first time - by far our favorite!!! Today the duck was sold out so we shared the smokehouse board. The brisket had a lot of fat in it so we picked around it. The actual meat had great flavor. The BBQ sauce is very good. Gold Rush cocktail is great, best on the menu!
If you’re thinking about grabbing a bite here, just do it. The brisket sandwich and the hot honey garlic smoked chicken wings were both EXCELLENT. We called in our order for take out and was told our meal would be ready in 25mins and they were on the dot. They do charge a very small fee for takeout and also include gratuity.
Pretty small dining room. Went at lunchtime on a weekday in October. The service was great. Super speedy and attentive, yet peaceful and intimate. We had 2 small children with us and it was a friendly environment for them too. The food was delicious!! Only complaint would be it was a little pricey, especially for lunch, but really yummy! ($14 for a corn dog and another $14 for a soft pretzel + $4 extra dollars for cheese sauce). My grilled cheese sandwich was superb! We would definitely go back!
This was by far the BEST pulled pork my husband and I ever ate!!! We would come back to Oregon just to eat here. Makes us wish we didnt live so far away because we would have it shipped overnight, it was THAT good!!! Amazing doesn't even begin to describe how delicious the dirty fries and pulled pork sandwich were. I did substitute sour dough for the bread and it was divine. Great atmosphere and service! Couldn't recommend more!!!
WORTH THE WAIT. Small but cozy area with absolutely delish food. Dirty Fries, Grilled Cheese, brisket is a must and desert pretzel.
The grilled cheese and smoked tomato soup were worth coming here by themselves! The Cubano, Reuben, and Smokey platter were also incredible. We were nervous at first since this place is so small and only holds like 20 people but the food was great and so was the service. We will absolutely be back.
This is a little hole in the wall place not far from the beach. Space is very limiting so it can be hit or miss on wait time. They do a good job of keeping the arrival’s organized and getting people seated as space becomes available. The food is very good. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that they ran short on a few items and it reduced the menu selection down to almost half. I was not able to get my first or second choice off the menu. I did settle on a brisket sandwich which was very good I was just not in the mood for brisket. We have eaten here before and the food was excellent that time as well so they do have consistency from my own experience. Looking forward to another visit and hopefully a full menu.
Some of the best food we've ever had! But, it's very hit and miss. Usually it's well worth the cost and more. Sometimes ingredients are out of stock without any mention or substitute.
It's a special place for us so we'll give another shot or two. The best chance for a good experience seems to be the weekend lunch hour, before it gets too busy.
What an awesome addition to Cannon Beach! I am a Bloody Mary lover but this was hands down the best bloody I’ve ever had - the smoked Roma tomatoes were next level. The food was also delicious.. highly recommend the sampler and spinach salad!
The food was phenomenal! The place is small but if you have to wait it is well worth the wait. We had the Dirty Fries and they were gone within minutes they were so good. The brisket was tender and the bread on the sandwiches was crispy which is hard to keep with a Reuben. Will definitely be back when we are in the area again.
