Good place to get a delicious brick oven pizza. The service was very good and we didn’t wait to be seated.
Nice environment and decoration.
I got a supreme pizza thin crust. It was really good with all fresh ingredients. The 16” is enough for two and some leftovers.
Reconsideration for the house wine.
Definitely a coming back.
Enjoy !!!
I went Saturday with my family and the food, atmosphere, and service was amazing! Everything had so much flavor and you could tell it was freshly made.
We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip for an Appetizer and it was one of the best I've ever had. And I am a cheese lover so I loved how much cheese the dip had.
We all ordered something different for dinner. Calzones, pizza, and I had the Chicken Parmesan pasta. All the food was delicious! The smell alone could make your mouth water. Definitely would love to come back again!
The pizza has an authentic pizza taste as it is prepared fresh in an open kitchen where you can see them prepare it! I'm already craving it just by writing this review!😆 The service was fantastic! We highly recommend it.
The service was excellent, and the food was top rate. My wife has had better loaded Bloody Marys for the same price. We enjoyed the light crispiness of the coal fired crust. The fresh ingredients and solid balance to the pies set them into a comfortable spot among some of the better pizzas in the area. The pepperoni rolls were pleasant - oven fired for soft dough with a nice crunch at the exterior. The garlic butter on top was a nice touch. We also appreciated the jalapenos on the deluxe.
The menu is simple. The garlic bread and marinara sauce are the best! We ordered the Hawaiian. It was good, but skimpy on toppings.
Our waitress was nice. The place was empty on a Saturday before 4th of July. We walked in and they didn't have a hostess. I could see numerous employees in the back by the ovens/bar. We didn't wait long as it was empty. Food came out fast. It has a very nice, comfortable decor and looked like a nice bar area.
2 cokes, large pizza that fed 2 adults and a toddler, garlic bread, and a slice of Cheesecake was $55 including tip.
There were 2 to 3 people that came in for carryout. Parking was not a problem, but it is in the same plaza as Bonefish, which was super busy. (Plus all the other businesses were closed for 4th).
I would get carryout from this place as it was pretty well priced and perhaps go again if I had family or friends in town, but I feel like they really need to expand their menu and get a hostess if this wasn't an isolated incidence.
This was the tastiest pizza I have ever eaten. We had the Wednesday 9 dollar 12in. personal pizza special, the spinach artichoke dip, and the house salad. All were great dishes. The crust was crispy and the body of the dough was soft. The sauce was good and a touch on the sweeter side. The toppings were generous. Everything tasted very fresh. Also, the beer helps everything go down smooth. This is a great pizza joint.
We've all had wood fired pizza, but have you had coal fired pizza? Modern pub style pizza joint that delivers the craft beers and pizza you crave. We were greeted right away and sat down at our table to enjoy pitchers of Bud Light and for me an IPA. The menu is full of great selections but don't be afraid to order your pizza the way you want it. For me, I enjoy a Canadian Bacon (they call it ham in Florida), pineapple, and jalapeno pizza, and they executed it so perfectly. Everyone in our group enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend to anyone in visiting or in the area to give Dante's a try.
Pizza was delicious! Full bar however disappointed that they didn't have a bar menu with some specialty drinks but on the upside the bartender ended up making us a drink called the screeching pig which was unique and very good. (Photo attached). Dessert was good but could of used dipping sauces on the side (photo attached). Service was good. Will definitely be back!
We ordered the Plain Wings, Carne Pizza and a Calzone with ham. The wings had good flavor and were a nice size, you had the option for sauce but we opted not to have any. The pizza was a little soft for my taste but had good flavor with a thin crust. The calzone was good but the top was really burnt. I know it’s the style but it made part of it inedible. In all it was a good first try and we will make our way back to try it again!
Best pizza I’ve had in Cape Coral! We ordered the marguerita, it was delicious but I would get it next time without the Parmesan cheese on top. Crust was amazing. Ordered the wings too which were crispy and full of flavor. Great service too!
Absolutely amazing! Thank you to Andrew behind the bar for letting us create this monster of a calzone! So happy to stop by here any time I'm in the area always delicious! Margie, Andrew and the entire staff are very polite and happy to drive their guests, kudos to the team for an awesome experience!
In support of local Cape Coral restaurants during the COVID19 crisis we decide to order “to go” from Dante’s. Never visited here before and OMG their food is OUTSTANDING!!!! I got wood fired chicken wings and my husband got wood fired pizza! New favorite restaurant. Will be “to-going” again until everyone reopens then we’ll go there for dinner and take friends!
Came here 6mo the ago and they were going through a staff rebuilding process. Food was good but really slow. Gave them another chance today and sandy has got this place running on point. Excellent experience! Make it a point to give them business Cape!!!
The pizza is amazing here. I got the calzone and it was huge! My wife on the other hand got the shrimp scampi. She said it lacked flavor. Service also took forever. It wasn't our first time eating here but first time with such slow service. Maybe it was just an off day for them. But overall great place and will go again.
We really enjoyed Dante’s!
The service was good, the price was reasonable for the quality and freshness of the food and to top it all of they had hits of the 90s playing (and at a reasonable volume — which sounds silly, but these little things matter!!).
We ordered the wings (10 for $11) and they were cooked to perfection - not dry or rubbery and the sauces were delicious!
We also had the Vegetariano pizza (pictured) and it was excellent! All of the veggies were fresh, the crust was great, and it came to us nice & HOT!
I definitely recommend checking out Dante’s Coal Fired Pizza!
Absolutely delicious! I got the "white" pizza, a caprese salad and a limoncello cake for dessert & was def not disappointed!! Worth every penny!
Well this was my first time here. Inside could use a little brighter decor. A little on the dark side. Pretty cool how they make the pizza in front of you. They have a bar area and TV's. The booths where you sit are another story. They really need a makeover big time.
Ok now for the food, I had spinach and artichoke dip and hubby had the potato wedges. The wedges came with a spicy ranch dressing, they were pretty good. My dip was excellent and came with these triangle bread pieces.
We ordered the carne pizza. I asked for it to be extra crispy. When it was brought out, it looked extra crispy but apon tasting it, it was not. The flavor was ok, only exception was that it could have used more cheese on the pizza. Our waiter was very nice and helpful. I probably will try it again, but order an extra cheese pizza with pepperoni. We did order wings to go, they're for tomorrow.
