I am an RN and my doctor treated me lunch here. Beforehand, I read some negative reviews that made me a bit hesitant to come here but WOAH I am so glad I decided to eat here. The food is absolutely fresh and delicious, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Our waitress liz was extremely helpful with explaining the menu and different dishes. It's hard to imagine anyone having a bad experience at such a fantastic restaurant! Note to bad reviewers: If you wanted your mothers cooking then you need to stay home and obviously don’t know about delicious food! Can’t wait to come back!!
Great food and customer service. I loved the variety they offered here. Everything was seasoned well with spicy sauces available as well. Our favorites were the ceviche, lomo Saltado, and tiradato. Ask about the combo plates too.

Different location, but the same amazing food, same great service, and a similar vibe. Whether you are coming for lunch or to come for a delicious dinner, no matter what you choose, your money will be well spent here.
Mother's Day dinner was the best! Our 1st time here and won't be the last, we will return regularly. Lively atmosphere, wonderful and kind wait staff.
Love this restaurant! Liz was great and attentive! She provided a welcoming atmosphere for myself and my friends.

Absolutely delicious ! One of the best Peruvian restaurants we have been in SWFL. The food is AMAZINGLY & DELICIOUS! Very cozy , well decorated restaurant . The staff was beyond fantastic, friendly and knowledgeable of the food. The waitress was very sweet and describing the menu, giving us some great recommendations. Thank you
El Patio in Cape you are doing a super job.
Amazing, very delicious, the owner of this place knows what their doing, its beautiful inside I love the paintings and it's very cozy. Our server Patricia was very sweet and explained the menu and even check on us to see if we had anymore questions. Now to the best part of my visit here, the food was so delicious, the chief is an Amazing cook. Everything was perfect! Prices were good for the amount of food you get!
This was my first time eating Peruvian food.
It was delicious. I tried 4 different lunch specials and they were all wonderful. I highly recommend the ceviche!!
Food was decent. I was slightly disappointed that they charged 5 dollars more for a spoonful of shrimp in that yellow sauce on top of the rice. Like, seriously, it was frozen farm raised shrimp you paid Pennie’s for and you skimped on it and charged me 1/3 of the base price of the dinner for it. And their drinks are sold by the can, so that’s another unnecessary exorbitant make up.
But I loved the food. The fish was crunchy and tasty. The rice was good. The shrimp in that yellow sauce was great. Just high unnecessary mark ups in cheap things.
Second time here and the service was great with Liz. Highly recommend
Food was delicious and the prices were reasonable! Our family of seven had a great time!
We visited El Patio in Cape Coral for the first time – a party of four. We arrived after 6:00 for dinner and there were two other tables occupied. We ordered an appetizer – A La Huancaina with the Peruvian Corn. And a Peruvian drink Pisco (lemon). The appetizer was uneventful and the additional charge for the Peruvian Corn not worth the cost, but it was all part of the experience. The Pisco was very good, although since this was our first time having this drink, we had nothing to compare.
We ordered (3) Lomo Saltado and (1) Mar Y Tierra. I requested to have the Lomo Saltado mixture of Beef and vegetables to be severed over the fries. That is how I have had Lomo Saltado served when in Los Angeles and our waitress was excited to have it prepared this way. Apparently, it is the more traditional way to serve this dish because the fries can soak-up much of the sauce. The Mar Y Tierra looked very good and the skirt steak still had a little pink despite how thin the cut of beef. There was an abundance of seafood, as well.
I did not taste the Mar Y Tierra but the Lomo Saltado was very good. Excellent flavors and plenty of beef and vegetables. Even the white rice served with this dish was surprisingly tasty, although next time I might substitute a side dish of their vegetable Fried Rice (another Peruvian staple from Chinese influence). The service throughout the dinner was excellent, in-part because there were few tables occupied, however, quite a few Take-out orders were being picked-up. Our servers (Liz and Ellie) were very helpful in explaining the menu selections and Liz especially, really knew the menu and the Peruvian food. The only inconvenience we experienced was how long it took to receive our check and then pay for the meals. I finally went to the counter to get the check and then again to pay after waiting for quite a bit of time.
Four Stars instead of Five Stars because of the very slow "check-out" process. The food and service are 5-Stars. We are looking forward to returning to try other menu selections.
This is one of my favorite restaurants. I didn't know anything about Peruvian food when I first started coming here, but after a couple of visits I have some favorite dishes and so will you! Always friendly and clean. I love it!
Visited El Patio tonight, and was better than expected! We’ve never had Peruvian food before, and the servers Val (who was in training) and Liz, were extremely helpful making suggestions and listening to what we’d like to try.
Appetizers we got the A la Hauncaina and the Palta Rellena with shrimp. The sauce for the Hauncaina was fantastic, but the rellena was memorable.
For entrees I had the Aji de Gallina, which was a creamy sauce over pulled chicken and is was rich and delicious. My girlfriend got the thin skirt steak with shrimp and the sear on the steak was spot on and wasn’t dry.
And dessert we tried the Alfajor cookie, which had a homemade dulce de leche filling, it was tasty but didn’t stand out, however the Picarones (fried donuts) are served with a spiced honey sauce that just reminds you of fall. I could put that sauce on the stove and just let the fragrance fill the house.
We will definitely be back soon!
Our server was a lovely young lady, very personable and conversant. This was our first visit there but we'll patronize the restaurant again for sure. We enjoyed the dishes that were recommended to us - ceviche, chau fa, grilled chicken breast, steak and seafood. The purple corn drink was a nice surprise.
Just moving into the neighborhood near Del Prado and looking for some good local eats… Found It! Cozy atmosphere, amazing menu but most importantly so much flavor!!! A Peruvian treat that fits a lot of pallets. We were pleasantly surprised and will be back!
We can not rave enough about this place!
Dad’s took the kids out for dinner and they treated us like family. We came in minutes before they closed and they greeted us with smiles…
Food was phenomenal, environment, great and customer service…. Was better than chick fila. :).
I had to take this pic from the actual owner loving on our kids…
We. Will. Be. Back!
Wow is all I can say......the food was amazing....the flavor so authentic. The service was fantastic. The skirt steak was scrumptious and the homemade dessert was so fresh and delicious like it just came out of the oven. I am a customer for life.
