Popeyes, Hancock Bridge Parkway., I was feeling hungry & lazy. So I went thru the drive thru. I got the $5 shrimp tackle box special.
The order was still hot. It was good for 5 bucks. Plus apple pie.
Fried chicken, Popeye's. This seems to be the best chicken around in SWFL. Everywhere else is dried or no flavor.
Well I was feeling lazy, had a coupon & Popeye's 1.5 mile away.
So I threw a shirt on and drove.
2 cars in front of me. But hey these folks were fast. 5 minutes for my 12 pieces of spicy chix, large red beans & rice, dirty rice plus 6 biscuits. I hate Popeye's biscuits. They are only good if you eat right away with real honey or butter. Otherwise its hockey pucks for the birds.
20 bucks for this family package, usually 27.00
They do a good job here.
Good to eat now, some for manana and freeze for a week later.
Love Popeyes. Went at lunchtime and had the Sandwich. It could be a bigger piece of chicken. It tasted great. I have to be honest. I’ll just be coming back for the real stuff. Fried chicken!
Really glad that the chain is in the Cape.

Awesome spicy chicken sandwich! Better than wendys or any other ive had. Juicy and delicious, if ur not into hot the regular ones are great too! Friendly staff and quick drivethru! Definite top tier fast food!
I don't know if this location is under new management, but it was better than ever before! Food was fresh, hot, juicy. Coleslaw was fresh.
I think they have new employees or a new manager but you can tell the difference. We used to go there and they were always out of something, fries, rice and beans, biscuits! It was always in the truck! Yesterday finally we were able to order and they had everything ready and available. The employee running the drive thru was very pleasant, our order was correct, nothing was missing and she even gave us napkins and forks, without us having to ask for it. This is our new favorite Popeye's location.
The food has been quite delicious most of the time although a few times my biscuits were dry and was obvious they had been sitting under the heat lamp for way to long also the employees seem to be very overprotective about the honey Like they get a bonus for saving it. Also and this is my biggest complaint the sweet tea has been extremely sub par lately. Usually not sweet at all like drinking unsweetened tea and even when it is a little sweet it's just not sweet enough to be called sweet tea. The last time I went I was given either unsweet tea that they tried to just add sugar too which did not dissolve and I had big chunks of sugar in the bottom of my cup or it was made so recently that the sugar wasn't even mixed in either way it was terrible and I know Popeyes makes good tea so it's disappointing. But I'd say 8 out of 10 times the food itself is quite good. I still eat here frequently I've just stopped trying to get sweet tea.

We missing the pass days when good promo sales are. Helping the family yo enjoy that unique tasty flavor. Like 12 pieces of 🐔 for less the $9 oh well. Now is hard to paid for that, but no doubt is lots of Louisiana flavor.
