Washington Inn - Cape May - Photo album

Fabulous dining experience. Courteous, helpful and friendly hostess. Very attractive space. Excellent, knowledgeable waitress. Truly delicious food. Unique wine list with thoughtful, properly priced wines. iPad wine list has many expensive older wines at same price or cheaper than liquor stores o
It’s been a long time I haven’t had such a delicious meal. The atmosphere, the service and the food were perfect. The short ribs with the goat cheese polenta were incredible. The Washington Inn crabcakes are absolutely worth it. The shrimp cocktail was good - what was most memorable were the sau
The restaurant food and service was fabulous. Our meals were excellent. We started with a vintage French wine, followed by excellent entrees (grilled pork chop, halibut special), and finished by splitting the chocolate mousse tower. Highly recommend.
The restaurant was what we went for, and it was awesome. The cocktails are excellently crafted, the oysters were incredible, the escargot was outstanding, short rib was delicious, and the crab cakes were also very good. This place banged on all cylinders genuinely. It’s excellent for a fine dining e
Meal was amazing. Karen our server has been there for a while and knows the menu front to back and very warm/friendly. Definitely wanting to come back for more. And valet parking is a perfect touch for the area it's in.
We got dinner, did not stay at the inn. Amazing experience, excellent food, wine, and dessert. All four courses were delicious across the six people. The only miss was the cappuccino after dinner. Steamed way too hot, undrinkable at first. Poor texture and no foam.
Delicious dinner—-I ordered a special, my husband ordered the cioppino. Both were delicious! We did get seated >30mins after our reservation time. Didn’t bother us but I could see how it could bother other clientele. Great cocktails as well. Limited vegan or vegetarian options, which wasn’t an issue
This review is for the restaurant, not the accommodations. Simply put, everything was outstanding! The service, the food and the ambience was spectacular. It was the first restaurant my wife (then girlfriend) and I visited in Cape May together in 2010. We recall it being good then, though not incre
Came for dinner and it was a great experience. Pleasant and excellent service with delicious food. The best meal we had in Cape May.
We went here 22 years ago when we got engaged and the food and service was as good as then. Our server was attentive and the food was delicious. Strongly recommend.
Best deal going. If you are into wine, this is the place. The waitstaff are incredibly knowledgeable and the food is always perfect. Every time we sit at the bar we meet new and interesting people and engage in great conversation. Highly recommend.
This is a review for the restaurant at Washington Inn. I was frankly blown away by the quality of the food here — all fresh and expertly made. What was served here is easily on par with establishments in much larger cities. The crabcake is not to be missed.
It's a lovely place. We had a great time at both the Inn and Wine Bar with wonderful service, food and drinks throughout our visit. We will definitely return
Excellent service and food. Love the ambiance as did our out of state family who dined with us
