What is there not to love about this place? Great food in generous portions, great staff, and great prices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner make this one of the best restaurants in Cape May.

George's Place is a must!!! If you love fresh, this is the place!!! I'm not a vegetarian but ordered the Veggie Pita and it comes with a delicious salad. I would order it next time I return, it was soooo good👍🏽👍🏽 Highly recommend 😊🍴🥗⛱

We've eaten at George's several times, breakfast and dinner, while visiting my cousins, Jim and Cindi. Always a comfortable, very welcoming spot, with great service. The food....amazing!! Fresh ingredients, flavorful dishes. Always a must see when ever we visit Cape May!!

Basing this solely off food. Some of the cleanest and tasty breakfast I’ve had. Omelet cooked perfect and the banana French toast. I’d opt out of the bananas cooked inside next time but very good otherwise. Service was a little off. The waitress handed me too much change I refunded it and they laughed said it happens all the time. ?? Upon entering- host says sit wherever there’s a menu. If the food is consistent I’m happy. But the service needs work. Especially at these prices

One of the best places to eat in all of Cape May! I’ve been to the Beach Ave location twice, and the food is incredible and the staff is so welcoming. Can’t wait to come back for breakfast!

It was holiday time and didn't have to wait too long to get seated , I am happy I waited ... my family and I enjoy the food which came out quickly and perfectly made . The cheese Omelette hat the cheese mixed with eggs not just a lump thrown in like other places . Very good food and great service.

I give this place 5 stars. We came here for brunch all 3 days we were in Cape May. The best pancakes I’ve had in this area.

If you are in the mood for a great breakfast this is your place! It's a small place and sometimes there's a 15+ minute wait time to be seated but the food and service is WELL worth the wait. I had the pancakes and there were 3 of them the size of dinner plates and were delicious. My girlfriend had the eggs Benedict and she was sad they were gone when she ate them. I definitely will be back.

Outstanding breakfast. The wait was totally doable for this little place. Service was slow to reach us, but they were slammed with customers, which is totally understandable. Food was so good. 2x Banana French Toast, tiramisu waffle, crab cake eggs Benedict. Will absolutely return to this local gem.

This place was on my list and we finally got to check it off on our last day there. There was always a line since the place is small but it's clean and the decor is simple. Waited about 15 minutes. The prices were less than what I expected. Yeah it's a diner but you know you pay for location. We all had breakfast. Pancakes, French Toast, Eggs, Bagel, Lox, Bacon, Sausage, etc. We could not find a thing to complain about. The hash browns and coffee were exceptional. The service was great, Irene was awesome. Will definetly be going back there on the next visit to try the lunch menu.

Cool place. Little small and keep in mind cash only. Atmosphere is only 2 stars as it was 95 degrees out and they don't have air-conditioning. The waiter that ran the place was great and friendly. Would est there again next time I'm in Cape May.

Quaint little place with attentive staff, comfy booths and DELICIOUS food!!! Even though it was lunch time, we asked for the Smoked Salmon bagel off of the breakfast menu, delicious... Mediterranean salad with chicken, very nice size portion and incredibly fresh ingredients, 2 Falafel pitas, one with Mediterranean side salad and one with not your normal Caesar salad, both came with "fries"also. Again, both with fresh ingredients and heavenly tasting Falafel. Portion size was larger compared to price point.. those "fries" were done perfectly and seasoned perfectly.. will definently come back for round 2 at some point. Highly recommend this location!

We walked by George's Place while exploring the neighborhood around our hotel. We saw a sign that said buy one get one free entrees and took note. Later in the day our family friend recommended trying George's Place which solidified our choice to try it out. We looked through the menu and found a lot of tasty meat options, however, not too many veggie/vegan entree options for my brother. We explained my brother is vegan and they said they were able to accommodate by providing a falafel entree option, Luckily, my brother loves falafel. We asked to substitute tzatziki for hummus (so it's vegan). Thought we explained that he was vegan, we noticed his entree still had feta cheese over his salad. We didn't make a big deal of it; my brother just took off the top layer of his salad (though other vegans might be more strict about this). My husband and I shared a branzino entree and a mixed platter appetizer. My goodness! These entrees were absolutely huge and delicious! The branzino was cooked perfectly - crispy outside and moist flakey inside! Wow! The branzino also came with a large bed of sauteed spinach and a very large side of Caesar or Greek salad - we chose the Caesar and it was delicious! The mixed grill appetizer was definitely a huge entree portion and with a surprise of waffle fries on the bottom. It would have been nice if the waffle fries were served on the side though because the waffle fries were soggy from all the meat juices (some people might like this, but for me I like my fries crisp). Overall, I was really happy with the entree sizes and quality of meats and sides (for the price I would expect larger sizes even with the 50% discount). I would probably prefer half entree options for a lesser cost because staying at a hotel makes heating up leftovers a little tricky or if you would rather order more options to try a variety of things (for example I also wanted to try the octopus but we knew we would not be able to finish it all). We were very welcomed by the server Jaime who was super friendly and nice while helping us and while our order was being prepared. We also happened to meet the owner/manager, Yanni, who was a jokey/interesting character. He shared that he has 13 restaurants within the restaurant group. Another important note is that this restaurant is cash only so be prepared with that before arriving. Four stars because of the issues with the cheese on the vegan entree and the soggy fries but honestly a strong 4.5 experience.

15 minutes to get in was fine. 45 minute wait for order seemed excessive when we saw take-out flying out the door. Great coffee and good hot breakfast. Friendly service. Still would think twice about returning considering the wait.

Cash only!!! Come prepared :) Authentic Greek food - the quality is outstanding, the place is cozy and comfy, the portions are very generous and the prices are kinda low. Best place to dine in Cape May hands down. Just come and grab a bite - you’ll thank me later.

We always wanted to try George's Place, but the wait was always 45 minutes or more. We finally got in at a good time, less than 10 minute wait and I can now see why it is always busy. The food is excellent. Unfortunately, the restaurant is fairly small. I highly recommend the banana French Toast!

Yummy! My husband and I stumbled across this place & I’m so glad we did! They had a BOGO deal if you ordered take out, so we did. I ordered the veggie pita with a Greek salad (pictured) and my husband ordered the harvarti sandwich. Both so delicious and SO filling! Each meal was enough for two. My husband can eat a lot, but even he was stuffed. Although I already planned to leave a review, my husband said ‘’make sure you leave a 5 star review!” He isn’t one for reviews, so that tells you it was good. Their breakfast menu looks delicious too, so we may try while we’re here.

Great little gem on the beach! You can't go wrong with anything on the menu but my favorites are the smoked salmon scramble and the pikilia platter.
