Had dinner at Oyster Bay on Tuesday Aug.8th in the bar, Mike was our server/bartender, he made the best PAMA martini and also recommended the roast beef sandwich and potato salad, both were excellent choices! I have been to Oyster Bay many times and it is always a great meal, great desserts and great martinis!

I was there last night for me and my wife's anniversary for the first time. I would recommend this restaurant to everybody I encounter. The bar maid Elizabeth was so friendly and was pretty funny. The appetizers were just the finest. Our dinners was just the best. Thank you for the great experience. If anybody doesn't like your establishment you don't need them.

The overall drinking and dining experience was excellent. We ate in the Bar where we enjoyed superior service with a taste of local hospitality. Everything from the oysters and crab dishes to the cream brûlée and carrot cake did not disappoint.

I have been going to Oyster Creek since I was a little girl. About 50 years. In the summer it’s a great place to come by boat to enjoy the crabs that are served on the crab deck. When I was there the other night I had their seafood boil which was very delicious. Always enjoyed all of my meals that I’ve had there.

Had a lovely dinner here with my husband. Service was good, and the server was able to investigate any questions I had about gluten or corn ingredients. Excellent food and service. Nice atmosphere, though felt just a little dated. I like the sky lights in the area we were in. We dined early so it was before main dinner rush time and noise wasn't out of hand. We had mixed drinks which were pretty good, oysters on the half shell that were excellent, and an entree each. He had the jambalaya which was very good and I had the chicken with mushroom risotto and carrots and an add on of crab Oscar. The mushroom risotto was excellent and the carrots were the best I have ever had as a side dish. Crab Oscar was very good. The chicken was cooked nicely but could have used a little more seasoning on the bird itself. The excellence of the accompaniments made it minimally affect my opinion of the dish overall. We greatly enjoyed our meal here and would not hesitate to come again in the future.

We've been coming here as a family now for two years and every visit has been great. The seafood is always super fresh and more than that they are very able to modify for my gluten sensitivity. You really can't go wrong if you visit and if you are lucky enough to have our favorite server, Joanne, then I know for sure you will have one of your best nights out! Joanne has gone above and beyond every time she has been our server. If she doesn't know the answer on a wine selection, etc. she gets the input and provides the input for the best decision.

We didn't have reservations for dinner but stopped in to get a drink at the bar then decided to stay for dinner. When we went to the hostess she seated the two of us in a corner table against the wall. I was shocked at how small the table was and remarked that I didn't think a plate would even fit on this table. The hostess stated"this is what you get when you don't have reservations". Made me feel like we were not welcome to dine there. As far as the food, my husband got steak and really enjoyed it. I had soup and the bang bang shrimp. It was ehhh. Later that night I was violently ill from the food. We will not be going back.

We had a much better experience than we did a few years ago. Bartender was on point tonight and food was delicious. Scallops were sauteed perfectly and the sauce was devine. Oyster Rockefeller were average. Too much Bernaise sauce on top. But otherwise a good experience.

Great bar area. If they had an outside area, it would be 5 star for me.

Cocktails and food were fantastic. Lots of food options for people with different tastes. Probably the best Manhattan I had during my stay in Cape May. Our dinner included the "Long Hots" )which is a hot pepper stuffed with sausage and served with amazing garlic bread), Grouper and the Short Rib. Portions were very large so we had no room for dessert. The only very minor turn off was how close some of the tables are to one another. When we looked to our side, there were people positioned less than two feet from each of us. Next time we dine here, I think we would just opt for bar seating if tables are positioned similarly.

Really 4.75 stars but if the option is between 4-5 stars then it's obviously closer to the 5. Drinks were amazing, had the bramble. The food was excellent with the jambalaya being a little salty but otherwise excellent melt in your mouth scallops. The truffled beets were a great salad without overpowering truffle flavor. The bang bang shrimp was good but sometimes too much of the bang bang sauce. Has some oysters and they were so good. The kids menu fish fingers with fries had both items that were actually chef made and not some frozen after thought. Desert left much to be desired so we didn't get any but overall amazing food. Bobby was quick and made good small talk, but didn't either get over involved or not uninterested. Great server. Great seafood restaurant.

What can I say. Loved the place. Very classy clean and very pleased with the service and food. My husband had the strip steak and I the salmon. Delicious! Not trying to be rude but this is not a place for the "little ones". It's just that when you go to an establishment like this who wants to hear screaming kids. It is a very quiet elegant atmosphere. Fantastic date night restaurant. A little pricey. $10.00 for a glass of wine. It was worth it though.

Great Seafood and atmosphere My husband and I were in the area for the afternoon and evening. We called at 4:30 PM on Friday to make a reservation for 5:30 PM without any difficulties. We arrived a little earlier and were able to be seated without any wait time. Meal was excellent and Steve, our waiter, provided superb service. Drinks were good too. I had the Blue Hawaiian and my husband had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. Menu provides ingredients for each of the mixed drinks. For an appetizer, we both had the Lobster and Crab Crostini, light and airy. My husband had one of the specials, Grouper while I had the New England Clam Bake. Both were excellent in taste and presentation. The side dishes, rice and string beans were a little bland. Orders were taken promptly. My husband did not have to even ask for a 2nd glass of wine as Steve checked back and asked him. All very delicious and great atmosphere. Definitely would recommend this restaurant while visiting in Cape May.

I haven’t yet to have a bad meal. Just miss the New England Clam bake dish omg that was fantastic plz bring it back. Went down the road to try the other restaurant again and again big mistake it’s all hype with that restaurant won’t name them cause it’s really not fare lots of ppl like them but us well not a fan of waiting in line for a table to be seated. OB has a great atmosphere and the dishes are pleasantly satisfying and placed. Makes you want to come back. Have to make reservations but it’s still better than waiting in line to be seated for a mediocre meal. We always will go there for our meals without hesitation now. Set our reservation and be done with it. Sit at the bar and chat with with the bartender a bit and off for our fantastic dinner. We highly recommend it
