This has been our favorite restaurant for several years now. Tonight we celebrated our fourteenth wedding anniversary and Sea Salt did not disappoint!! After much discussion we concluded that tonight's dinner may have been our best meal there yet!! Cocktails are on point! Appetizers, so special that you will have a hard time choosing. Entrees, a beautiful balance of flavors and colors -making dining an experience for both your eyes and your palette. And dessert? It is all made on the premises!! Homemade ice creams and sherbets.... crème brûlée! My favorite!! Finally, I cannot end without mentioning the amazing staff. They tend to the smallest of details, from replacing your flatware with each course, folding your napkin each time you get up from the table, to timing your food perfectly. Truly a wonderful experience. A+++
An incredible dining experience is consistently delivered at SeaSalt. They are very accommodating to a vegan diet: the corn soup and the beet salad are delicious. We reserved for our party of eight the five-course chef's tasting menu, which was wonderful. The vegan white bean ravioli is very tasty, and the service is impeccable. My family greatly enjoyed the seafood and meats.

Stayed there earlier in the week with the family. Monday night, the weather was horrible and we got stuck looking for someplace to eat. We all agreed just to eat at the Sea Salt. What a great decision. The food and service was impeccable. Everything was delicious and the desserts were amazing.
The wait staff had everything under control and made some really great recommendations for us. I can't rave enough about the Hotel and the restaurant. Can't wait to come back. Oh and the breakfast was just as good. Ate there two days in a row. Loved it
P.S. need the ingredients for the Sea Salt sundae. Amazing
Food was great, very inventive and tasty. The staff was very attentive and knowledgeable about the food and the wine. Décor was very modern. My only wish is that there were more menu choices. Would eat there again.
My wife and I had breakfast at the sea salt restaurant two times while we were on vacation there in Cape May. Everything was spot on friendly staff outstanding presentation of food.
Excellent food and amazing service! Sweet manager, Ed, surprised me this morning with gluten free pancakes, that weren't on the menu! He actually ran to the local market while I was having oatmeal, and got the stuff to make them! Gorgeous restaurant in the Ocean Club (beautiful) hotel on Beach Avenue. Our family has had a home in Beach for 20 years, and this place, and these people (Sea Salt) staff are among the nicest and finest in Cape May. And our waiters smelled really good too!

We ate at SeaSalt after checking in to the Ocean Club Hotel. We were looking for a nice quiet dinner after driving 3 hours up from DC. There just happened to be a wedding rehearsal dinner at the same time, so it definitely wasn't quiet. But since it was our anniversary weekend, we thought it was a good sign for us; we didn't mind the lack of quiet at all. Now, to the meal. All I can say is WOW! My husband had the grilled pork chop and it was absolutely delicious - tender and juicy, served with "crisp apple salad," a delight, and a side of roasted Yukon Gold Potatoes. The presentation was exquisite.
I was debating between the prawns and the chicken, and upon the advice of our waiter, I chose the Barbeque Grilled Chicken with Asian slaw and peanuts, which proved to be an excellent choice. How can you make chicken taste better than, well, chicken? Slather it with sesame chili barbeque sauce and grill it, that's how. Then add cole slaw with a hint of Asian spice in a delicate dressing, add in some peanuts and you have perfection on a plate. I chose a side of grilled asparagus which tried to be good, but ended up over-cooked such that the tips were charred & dry. Add to that the fact that the asparagus itself was a bit tough and stringy (through no fault of the restaurant), and I felt I had to send it back. I didn't ask for a replacement, though, because I realized I had more than enough to eat with the main course. The management immediately apologized and removed it from our table and, subsequently, our tab. The service was outstanding from the beginning to the end. I would not hesitate to come back again.
The food and service were excellent. Everything was fresh and delicious. This is a great place to celebrate special occasions or have a romantic dinner for two.
Had to say how great of an experience we had tonight. Went in with my parents, their two friends and my almost two year old son at about 645. Dave was our servers name I believe and he was very attentive and especially good with getting out my son's food and his dessert as quickly as possible which was greatly appreciated! All of the food was delicious and we all ordered different things and enjoyed them all! We will definitely be back, thank you !
Eat here! Excellent food and excellent waitstaff and bartenders! Everything is fresh and tastes amazing! Would definitely recommend eating here when visiting Cape May!

Two dining experiences and our most recent we were waiting on by one of those best servers in years. We appreciated her menu knowledge and description of each dish we were considering.

Best meal I’ve had in Cape May. The chef is incredible and his presentation is pure art. The view of the ocean is breathtaking as well.
Absolutely incredible. From the live pianist to the desert, everything was just perfect. The drinks are on point, the appetizers were amazing ( lobster Mac and cheese and truffle fries) and the entrees were mind blowing. The presentation of the dishes were literally a form of art and the flavors of the presentation sauces incorporated into the meal perfectly. I'd give them ten stars if I could. We'll be back in the future without a doubt. Hands down the best dinner I've ever had. Thank you SeaSalt and staff! This was the perfect way to end a vacation.
Had Risotto for an appetizer, seafood bisque and French Frenched Chicken for entree, wife had Herb Salmon, everything was incredible, made an observation that there is no salt and pepper on the tables, and honestly it wasn't needed. The hostess was super nice and a good conversational.
Planning a trip back to The Ocean Club in the fall and will definitely go to Sea Salt again.
This place blew my expectations! Came on a busy weekend and this was the only restaurant with reservations…I am not sure why, because the food was phenomenal! Presentation was also beautiful. This deserves way more than 3.7 stars! So delicious!
We had the pleasure of dining at Sea Salt this evening. We had a group of 17 and were stuck for a last minute reservation. Victoria and her staff were very welcoming and accommodating. It was a very pleasant evening.
Perhaps Seasalt excels in other areas or meals, but for breakfast, it fell short of being an extraordinary dining experience.
Best cocktails in Cape May. The mojitos are perfect. I've been here a handful of times and am happy with the drinks and food every time. Never failed to get an outdoor seat.

Amazing dinner with familyl! We started off with the Cape May Salts oysters - so fresh and tasty. The slow roasted short ribs were so tender and cooked perfectly. I also tasted the scallops and the linguine with clams - all of the seafood tasted very fresh. Also, the cocktails are delish. Definitely recommend making a stop here. The view and outdoor dining are unbeatable in Cape May!

We had a wonderful experience here! The lobster pot pie was incredible. Our server, Gina, was so accommodating and welcoming. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Cape May.
