This was my first ever experience having Jamacian food and I LOVED IT! My guy was always very interested in trying this place and I was always on the fence. I'm not quite as adventurous as he is when it comes to trying new cuisine. I'm really glad he talked me into it though because the food was outstanding. I got the Jerk Pork, he got the Jerk Chicken, and we also got a few beef patties too. The pork was so tender (the chicken was too) and I loved the veggies, plantain, and rice that came with it. The servings were HUGE. The beef patties were also excellent but too spicy for me to finish mine...so my guy happily had my leftovers Haha. The people there were so friendly as well making this a great stop. We will absolutely be back!!
Stopped by this awesome place today, just driving back from a day at Yorks wild kingdom and ogunquit with our toddler. He loves live music and we do too so when we drove by and saw live reggae on the way home we knew we had to pull a u-ie and stop by. We didn't regret it, very chill place, nice rasta vibes and great live band! We had a blast!
If your taste buds are looking for that Jamaican island taste you will not regret going there. It was delicious!
This place is an absolute gem and a must stop. I've lived in Southern Maine nearly my whole life and I've driven by and told myself I need to stop here and check it out. And was I right! The food is authentic, delicious and inexpensive. I will absolutely be returning here and so should you! If you are thinking of driving by to some other spot for dinner, dont! The staff is friendly and delightful, they have live reggea bands that play on the weekends. Come for the food and enjoy a laid back authentic island experience.
Superb authentic Jamaican food! We tried the jerk chicken and pork and both were delicious. Strong smoky flavor, spicy tangy sauce, hearty portions. Also had to have the beef patties... yum!
Roadside stop for home-cooked Caribbean comfort food at its best while kicking back to awesome reggae rhythms. They're also plugged in to Maine's reggae scene. Yes, Maine does have a decent reggae thing going on.
This is a little dinky hut off road with great beef patties and other food. She even takes orders over winter when they are closed. My sister in law from CA took some back with her via special order. Try it.
Good flavorful food, big portions, cool relaxed hangout area. Goat curry was delicious !
Definitely try for something a little different off the main path !
This is one of my favorite places, hands down.. not to mention to my knowledge the only place to get genuine Jamaican food in MAINE. If you haven't tried it yet, you're missing out !!!

I had bbq chicken. My husband had the Jerk Chicken. Both were excellent! Brought us right back to our last trip to Jamaica. Right down to the Ting soda!
