We found the perfect quaint restaurant in the middle of paradise! We reserved the Sunshine Cafe for my 30th birthday and it was better than we could have imagined. Best food and service on Captiva. Good wine selection, staff is friendly and attentive. Went twice on a short stay. Took their time on each course and did not rush us out, good food experience.
Amazing food and service. We had the scallop and the Brussels sprouts appetizers and they were both outstanding. Also had the paella which was excellent. I would definitely recommend taking the scenic drive over from Sanibel.

We eat at Sunshine Cafe every time we eat our in Captiva. Some weeks 7 days a week. Have been eating there for years. Best seafood and steaks on the island. Never had a meal that wasn't perfect. Considering this is right near the "infamous" bubble room I must say this place was much better. Little hidden gem - food was great and server was knowlegable. The resturaunt had a classy, yet peaceful ambiance that made my fiance and I feel relaxed. Would definitely recommend!
