We found this place several years ago, and have brought several friends here for lunch. It’s a taste of old Florida, outside seating with live music, cold beer as well as tasty drinks, great service and a wonderful menu. Highly Recommend this little jewel.
What a fun place, definitely will be back. Probably one of our favorite stops while vacationing in Florida. Food was great live music, staff was friendly, made sure we were having a good time. Highly recommended for a good time, good food great atmosphere.
Happened upon this gem on a Wednesday at lunch and had a great time listening to classic rock by Royce Allgood. Made my some what difficult day amazing! The Crispy Fish and chips served with the Island Coleslaw was perfect, truly the best fried fish I’ve ever had.....and oh, the Key Lime Pie!! Homemade and again, just simply the best ever! Beer was delicious, the wait staff so accommodating, which topped my expectations fully! You gotta eat here!
Great tropical 🌴 atmosphere, live music 🎶 with Pat McCune that was awesome ! Food was great and the beer 🍻 were cold ! Awesome place to drop in for a drinks and eats .... after viewing a breathtaking sunset 🌅 on Captiva Island . Staff were friendly too!
Heard the music as we were walking by, stopped to listen and have some lunch.....good food, nice beer selection, the classic rock performer was excellent and it was a great afternoon.
Kevin is the best waiter on the island. Hope they stay in business for a long time! The sweet potato fries with the mango dipping sauce was to die for!

Always a must when we visit, their grouper reubens are amazing! Great live music, fast and friendly service, top notch all the way!

We didn’t eat there but had a few beers - was a great atmosphere and our server was super nice. We may go for breakfast in the morning.
Loved it!! We were there the week of Christmas. We had the fish basket, fish tacos, cuban sandwich and pasta....everything was wonderful!! The Margaritas were awesome and we finished with a piece of chocolate cake. Waitstaff is the best, and the host was awesome getting my uncle a chair so he wouldn't have to stand because the wait was long. Can't wait to go back next year!! Love Captiva.

Ordered takeout our last night on the island. Best fish dip ever….you must get some if you’re a fish dip fan! Conch fritters were also good - should have gotten two orders☀️Food was ready quickly and the order was perfect. Got a whole Key Lime pie for dessert - just ask if available. Go visit them while you are on vacation!
What a great family meal in this fully restored restaurant. Outside and inside tables avail and really nice live music this evening. Not too busy with the heat and hurricane recovery.

The conch fritters were delicious with chunks of conch in them. The pico was refreshing and provided a perfect snack. Let’s not forget the beans and rice, a cup is a perfect amount to get your fix in.
They also have live music and the atmosphere is lively and inviting.
Great to go back to Otters. Captiva is very quiet right now. Still recovering from hurricane. All new renovations. Looks great.Very relaxed atmosphere with very good food and drinks. Constance our server was great. Very attentive. Always very good music. See you soon
This is a great spot for breakfast. The dinner was not quite as good.
I think this is my favorite place on Captiva. The service was outstanding and the employees are very friendly. Unfortunately, there isn't a view but the food is better than any of the other places I have tried. The shrimp was heavenly, wonderful flavor and lightly breaded. Be sure to try and sweet potato fries and ask for a side of caramel to dip them in.
The crab cakes are wonderful, very little filling (chunks of crab).

Food was great really fresh and flavorful, the entire staff where all polite and the service was spot on! I got the island burger which was massive!! And my friend got the peel and eat shrimp, started off with spinach and artichoke dip which was amazing!! If you’re on the island looking for a cool place to eat and listen to live music, RC Otters is the place to be!!

We had an amazing lunch today, the mahi sandwich was so good and my husband loved the chicken quesadilla! Such a chill, fun restaurant with live music. Our server Constance was so nice! We will be back again soon!
Had a nice breakfast at RC Otters. We both had the two eggs your way and the bacon was crisp and the eggs were scrambled soft just as I requested. We’d come back.
WOW!!! Favorite spot on Captiva! Way better than other over rated places. Live music almost every day. Beautiful outdoor seating. Food is AMAZING!!! I had the peel and eat shrimp, Its been 2 weeks and I am still thinking about the fabulous Coch fritters (way better than Key West). Drinks are yummy. Hamburgers are fresh of the grill. Highly recommend the Crabcakes. You will NOT be disappointed. You will talk about this place for a lifetime.
There fried shrimp was awesome!!! Carrot cake and keylime pie was very good. And let's not forget wholemade mash potatoes. You can't find that anywhere no more.
Breakfast was GREAT. Crab Benny & Ultimate Seafood Omelette. Angie offered great service. Outdoor seating and really yummy screwdrivers. Tuesdays there's a farmers market right down the road.
Always a fun place to have dinner. Nice outdoor ambiance, acoustic guitar entertainment, can't forget the ring toss:) I always have their crunchy grouper with their homemade slaw, fantastic!! A must when you're in Captiva!
One of our favorite spots in Captiva. Food is fresh and beer is cold. The wait staff is efficient and helpful without hovering. They always seem to show up at the right moment. Live music in the outdoor area. Colorful decor completes the beach dining experience.
