A themed restaurant is always a cool experience, and this was no exception. I loved the decor and the menu. Service was also wonderful. We enjoyed the porridge bread, crudités, and a veggie based pasta. Of course, we also had the s’mores dessert. It was super cute! All the food was delicious.
I took off one star because the cocktails were not great (we are admittedly, more accustomed to visiting cocktail bars and ordering drinks that take around 10 minutes or longer to create). Overall, great place and I’d go again.

Campfire was a great dining experience especially if you're doing the chef's tasting menu. An ideal dining option if you're dining with the group and wanting to experience multiple tastings and short amount of time for a great price. Staff and owner were president and extremely kind and helpful with your order and guided you with the best options that best fit your palate and the creativity of the chef. Celebrating our friend's bachelor party here was a wonderful experience and would highly recommend to anyone else who would be interested in doing anything similar or a great dining experience. The broccoli by far the best thing and it is not overhyped. by my review and anyone else so definitely get to the broccoli and even if you're getting the vegan one it does not taste any different than the real thing.

What an experience! Chef Benji really took care of us. You waitress was amazing and very helpful as well. The ambiance was really fun and not at all pretentious. But the food, well the food was REALLY memorable. I really can’t praise the kitchen highly enough. So good. I will be back when I can!

My experience at campfire was AMAZING! I had such a great time and it was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday. 10/10 would go again. I got the pork chops and my man got the brisket and we both left happy! The s’mores were delicious! And the COCKTAILS! Chef’s kiss!

The food and ambience was amazing! I got the broccoli as an appetizer and it was probably the best prepared broccoli I have e ever had I. My entire life. The brisket was my main course, it was very tender and had great flavor. This is a fabulous restaurant. I will definitely go back.

This was one of the best meals I’ve had in a while. We went for our 10 year anniversary and from the hospitality to food it was incredible. The cocktails are so unique and deliciously refreshing. The broccoli is a standard, you need to get it. The oysters with bone marrow and mushrooms were so clean and the buratta and beets were fantastic. The buratta was even warm. The market swordfish was outstanding with a Yuzu foam and holy crown the brisket melted in your mouth. We got the panacotta which was a great finisher, nice and light. Jonathan was such a phenomenal server. We will def be back. Thank you Campfire.

Amazingly delicious meal. Definitely at the Michelin star level, but the prices are not. We had the oysters, chips and “dip” (with house-smoked salmon), wagyu skewers, charred artichoke, and brisket. Everything was perfectly cooked and the flavors were incredible. Their drinks were also excellent, and our bartender Phoenix made me a fantastic caipirinha with some barrel-aged novo fogo that I saw on the shelf that wasn’t even on their menu. They have an incredible selection of liquors if you’re looking for something unique, including some wines fermented with fruits and other non-traditional cocktails. My only regret was not saving room for the roast-em-yourself s’more dessert.
Get a reservation as the wait can be long, but it’s worth it. I love this place and I hope you will too.

Campfire is stellar! Great for date night or family dinner with the kids if you come early.
The charred broccoli is tasty (we were gifted it by our waitress!) and the brisket was to die for.
The interior is also really cool, you can see the kitchen and the decorations bring a nice ambiance.

Awesome experience. Our server, Natalya, was fun, knowledgeable, attentive and provided fantastic service. We enjoyed every aspect of our meal from the raw oysters, char grilled oysters, grilled foie gras, blistered wax beans, porridge bread, farro, thru to the brisket, duck, pork chop, etc. all were exceptional. The S'mores we had are a really unique dessert and were delicious!

A really excellent find. Superb atmosphere, fantastic, original and creative craft cocktails and delicious food. We ordered a number of the veggi dishes and they were happy to make them vegan. The flavors were great. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we ate. The owner/manager made a point of chatting with us and was very friendly. Our server was obviously in training and did a great job. She was attentive and friendly. A new favorite!!

Went back for another go. Wow!! I think we had to learn how to order and reinterpret what dinner can be.
Fantastic small plates that offer perfect bites with killer food and palate combinations. Felt a bit like a safari adventure, out to discover and explore the unknown.
Took our son for his 20th and we had an amazing meal. Black ink hummus, grilled squid, amazing leeks, verde seafood pozole, grilled fish...
One helluva meal & experience. Loved it!!

The best restaurant in Carlsbad i have been so far! Great food with very different and unique taste. A huge variety of cocktails with exotic, fresh, dry and tropical flavors. Service is excellent. Its a great place of for fine dinning with a casual ambience! I LOVE IT

Noise level made conversation difficult. Suggestions about ordering and sharing appreciated. Broccoli was delicious, Sweet Potato fine, but $13 for a 4-5 slices was crazy. Special Suckling Pig was very disappointing and reminded me of Carne Guisada. Overpriced and bland. Filet was OK, but nothing special. Salmon was nicely done. Courses were rushed and desserts were pushed before meal completed. I wanted to like this place, but given the noise, food and prices, I won’t return.

I have been in hospitality for over 40 years, so enjoying an evening out can be challenging. I notice every detail from the greeting to the bathrooms. It’s rare for me to have a completely enjoyable experience from soup to nuts. I recently had one of those rare amazing experiences at Campfire in Carlsbad. Bravo to an incredible crew. The ambience was fun and energetic, while the food was unique & exceptionally prepared.
I have a new favorite restaurant in my own backyard. Thank you Campfire for the thoroughly enjoyable & memorable experience.

Food comes out in weird waves, drinks take a long time, trying too hard to be hipster and weird with main dishes which then make a lot menu unappealing. You'd be busier and attract more patrons if you time down the weird ingredients like bad cuts of meat

Interesting and tasty drinks. Excellent food! Went for brunch and had the ceviche which was out of this world. The smoked beef hash was also very good. Can’t wait to go back for dinner and more unique cocktails.

I love the atmosphere but the brunch menu was a little light. I got the quiche and it was very good. But I was upset that my TINY orange juice was $4!! It wasn’t even a full glass and I felt robbed.
