First time there and I loved it. The inside bar and restaurant is very nice. The outdoor seating has a somewhat view of the ocean. This a great place for drinks or brunch. My cocktail was delicious as well as the poke. I love that parking is easy. I highly recommend !

The view is great from the outdoor patio, but there is a lot of traffic noise. Service was fine - a little slow but I think they are short handed like many other restaurants. The steak was excellent, while the flatbread and burger were pretty good. Loved the wedge salad and cheesecake.

Cool place by the ocean, but limited menu and poor management. Ordered blood orange IPA but they ran out. Wanted fish tacos, but they didn't have any fish. So they substituted chicken - for the same price.

This place never disappoints. They have the most amazing drink called "the Butterfly Flutterby." Our first time here, we were celebrating my birthday in February 2021. The restaurant had recently reopened since COVID and were trying to get back into gear. We didnt have a reservation. We were just looking to have a couple cocktails and an appetizer at the bar. I think we may have even made plans to have dinner at a different restaurant.
It was a lively atmosphere. The bar area was full and really loud. A lot of 20-and 30-somethings enjoying being OUT.
We were led to a table on the OTHER side of the restaurant. It was quiet; almost TOO quiet. We were outside (because we werent allowed to eat inside). I looked around and felt like I was at that resort/club from "Dirty Dancing"-- with all the 60- and 70-somethings. We had already met our server and the busser. He was so very nice and respectful. I felt awful asking for a different table. He offered to follow behind us with our waters.
Unfortunately, there were no open tables for Happy Hour. We were perfectly fine waiting a few minutes. My husband disappeared for a few minutes, then reappeared with the manager and asked that we follow him to our table. ----- wait. What?
We got the very last table on the patio; front row for the sunset. I felt like a VIP!
The only heater left was one that had stopped working and was set off to the side. The manager was determined to get it going, which I was grateful for. He must've spent close to 20 min fumbling with the thing before a flame finally appeared.
I'll make the rest quick---> We ordered the Ahi Nachos for an appetizer and ultimately ended up staying through HH and right into dinner. Unsure of what to order for dinner, I opted to share the burger with my husband....on the condition that there is NO arugula! Ick! Gag!
I'm 2 drinks in by the time the burger arrives. Forgetting about the arugula, I take big ol' man-sized-bite out of it. I managed to swallow it but not before I came to the realization as to WHY the chef went with arugula instead of lettuce or spinach. All I can say, all I will say is,.....that was the best buger I have ever had!-- better than Cassidy's in Newport. I hate to admit it, but it was the arugula that made it.
If you find yourself at Chandler's, DO NOT miss the opportunity to try the burger. SOFA KING güd!

This restaurant is inside the Hilton hotel, which was a surprise to us. We arrived at 5:30pm. It wasn't very crowded. It picked up extensively the later it got. The patio was nice, not too chilly despite being close to the ocean. Service is laid back but pleasant -- it's the kind of restaurant you spend 2 hrs. at. Items are high end a la cart, which isn't clear when you are looking at the menu. The food is very good, smacking of Gordon Ramsey style, but there isn't much to choose from. At other high end a la cart restaurants, you can fill out your plate with a starch and vegetable. But there aren't any options like that here. We ordered the New York steak and it was delicious, but that was all there was. It was fatty and a little tough, was topped with caramelized baby onion and half a mushroom cut in half which were tasty and the seasoning and sauce on the steak were very good. It feels like they are just getting going post covid restrictions, as the server, who was new, told us they were behind in the kitchen because of the sudden inundation of customers and they hadn't decided on what the catch of the day was going to be yet! So there's definitely room for growth. Maybe in a year they'll have all the pieces put together and it will be a great place to dine.

We had such an amazing experience for our first time comming to this restaurant, I took my fiance and best friend for a treat. The food was absolutly to die for! The service was by far the best I have had in a very long time. They had real conversations with us and made us feel like friends of the restaurant. The atmosphere was truly amazing, by far one of the most comfortable sit down meals I have had in a long time! We will be comming back as much as we can!

This place was really good. The drinks were a little soft but had nice flavor. Got the rib eye flatbread for dinner it was nicely done. Also had along the coconut shrimp. Our server was cool and friendly. Didn’t visit the table often and had to wave him down a couple times.
Went back the next morning for breakfast had the avocado toast that’s was really good. Added two over easy eggs and it was amazing.
I recommend it and I’ll be back. Also had a nice view of the ocean. Takes a lot to get 5 stars but they were close.

I love this restaurant/lounge. There is plenty of space and large outdoor area by the pool. Food is delicious: I had the poke appetizer and kale salad and both were amazing! Not sure if they still do, but they had live bands in summer and it just perfect! My favorite seating area is by the outdoor fireplace.

We had a larger party and didn’t order from the menu like smaller parties would. We kind of did a family style meal. The main course of steak, chicken, fish and some other dish was amazing. Every course was amazing while we dined on the patio overlooking the pacific with a fire pit next to us.

I have to go back and edit my initial review. During our last visit we had a bit of a disappointing experience, we ended up giving the restaurant a second chance due to a small quirk of fate and I have to say they followed up with a singular dining experience.
The manager Matthew made the occasional rounds with all the customers in the restaurant, our server Jose was amazing. If you have a chance to make a reservation see if he is working. Knowledgeable and attentive to say the least. He has a firm grasp on the menu and wine pairings.
From my experience (twice in three months) the lobster nachos were superb compared to the calamari, and the sirlion was much better than the surf and turf. I cannot recommend the coffee almond cake enough for dessert.

Went here for the first time on New Year's Eve and had a great experience! Of course it was busy and I expected that. They did mess up my order, but that's fine because I was deciding between the 2 entrees anyways. My server was very apologetic but I honestly didn't mind at all. He still gave me a complementary glass of wine. The food was excellent. My bf had the steak and lobster and I had the tomahawk pork. Cocktails were great too. Can't wait to come back on a normal day...oh and for happy hour too!

Really incredible food and drinks. The waiter? Almost ruined the dinner. Giving it 4 stars for food/drinks only. Would be a 1 star for service. When he was at our table he was great. Then he'd disappear for 30 minutes. We had to ask for table to be cleared between meals. Ask for another cocktail. And the manager ignored the tables too. Too bad as we probably would have gone back. Might give it one more try to see if it was a fluke.

The view of the sunset from our table outside was amazing! It was quite chilly out but those outdoor heaters are so warm. The cheese platter is a MUST try! The food and service was excellent ! I had the Jidori Chicken and my hubby tried the Steak with Lobster risotto! It was so worth it!

Here's a new review for you... my friend ans i went on Sunday night craving some seafood and thought of trying something new. I saw Chandler's on Facebook and wanted to check it out. We went at night therefore we weren't able to enjoy the sunset as it sounds so spectacular but enjoyed thw dining experience. Our server was Jose and mentioned the special of shrimp scampi that has alot of garlic in it... sounded great but I wanted to try the lobster tacos and my friend ordered the ahi... both were amazing! I was very impressed with the ahi that had a good serving as well as presentation.. oh and the glass of wine I had was delicious (red blend). Definitely will go back and Jose mentioned there is an oyster bar!!!! Quick tip...they validate your self parking for you while valet is $5 (not bad either). Come to find out this place has been around awhile and just finding it now... will be back!!

You’re not a “real” place to have a drink unless:
1. You can make a proper martini, and
2. There’s a vibe and or view
Chandler’s CAN and DOES. 🍸

Best experience at a restaurant in a long time. Our waitress Janai (excuse the misspelling?) Was beyond terrific! She was attentive and courteous and was everything you would want an great waitress to be! And the food was exceptional! Definitely going back soon. Oh, forgot to mention the great ocean view!

It is an ok Hotel restaurant. The staff was excellent, but the food was mediocre. Great ocean view but I don't eat the view. The hostess was not very nice. Will not be back!
Lorri Benson
Very disappointed they stopped making their pizzas. That was the best part of their happy hour. Nothing else on the menu worth mentioning. I probably won't go back.
