This is our second Richard Walker’s Pancake House we’ve been to and it is just as amazing as the downtown San Diego location. The coffee is so good we bought a half pound of beans to make at home. Also, our coffee cups never had a chance to be empty… anytime someone walked by with a pot, they stopped and topped us off. Our server was fantastic and the food was superb. We are already planning our next visit. We wish there was one in Orange County!
Very busy, expect a wait during peak times. Definitely worth the wait. Very fast and friendly staff. Amazing food options. Loved the French toast and eggs Benedict.
Had a great breakfast. Ordered the Pecan Dutch Baby as soon as we sat down so it would come out when the rest of the food arrived.
Nice atmosphere. Has a nice sized outdoor eating area. Very good wait staff. Very good food, esp. the baked apple pancake with the most wonderful cinnamon apple glaze. Last time I didn't feel like apples, so I ordered the Baked Cinnamon Pancake. It had plenty of the the wonderful, flavorful cinnamon. But it didn't have the Glaze. So next time I'm ordering the apple glaze Pancake. I would request that they carry the ingredients to make an Arnold Palmer drink. Currently all I remember them carrying is Coffee or Tea. If I'm having a later breakfast (1:00pm) I don't want coffee or tea. Very good food. I do plan on going there again.
First and foremost - the service here is excellent. I made a mistake ordering and the servers were so awesome about correcting it quickly. This kind of service is rare and kind. A big thanks to you all. The food is good, with great variety and very good sized portions. Also, real maple syrup! They seem to listen to their customers, with some interesting additions to their menu. I can't wait to go back. Just to be clear that I don't think they're perfect - the "fresh squeezed" OJ was a disappointment (not bad) and we've stopped ordering the coffee since too often it has had a burnt taste. But I still like/love this place.
The Hash Browns were delicious! I would go back just to eat them again. They were nice and crispy and just perfect. The sausage is wonderful too. I will definitely order that again! I had it in a dish called "Pigs in a New Car" that had pancakes wrapped around the sausage. Yum.
The omelette was fluffy and not quite what we expected. Nice fresh ingredients, just not my thing. They have so many things on the menu I want to try.
The whole staff was great. Our server, Linda B, was really wonderful.
They have such nice outdoor seating too. This was my first time trying this place, but it sure won't be the last. :)

Best place I have been to in a extremely long time. The Baked Apple Pancake is their best dish and would have again.
Update 1/13: Went back here after not being here for 2 years due to the pandemic. I'm glad to say that the service here is still as phenomenal as I remember.
My sister and I had the lovely chance to order both the Turkey Benedict and Nirvana Pancakes for today's visit. I was hesitant at first, due to only liking my eggs being scrambled. But, the way they seasoned the Benedict as it was placed on top of turkey sausage patty with some kind of toasted English muffin was so scrumptious that I couldn't have enough of the it. It was complimented with a side of hash brown: crispy and crunch, just the way I like it.
Don't get me started with the Nirvana Pancakes; they are something out of this world. Banana, blueberry (with a side of fresh blueberries), and chocolate chip pancakes with a side of whip cream, whipped butter, and nice hot syrup. All three pancakes not empowering the other as their flavors compliment with each other. From what I can see, thanks to the way they cook the pancakes it truly lets you savor the different flavors you'll be enjoying.
Furthermore, this visit wouldn't have not been possible thanks to the friendliest and amazing server we had: Jen. Her enthusiasm and attitude made this visit memorable and hope you get to have her as your server on your visit.

Took the hubs here for his birthday breakfast. It was really good, the portions were good and the service was fantastic. He had the breakfast burrito and I had the blueberry waffle. The sausage was very flavorful and so was the burrito.
