This is the best BBQ place in Carlsbad! First time there and we received great service. The food was finger lickin' Good! This is a restaurant my family and I really enjoyed and will definitely be frequenting it a lot. Keep it up Danny's Place!

We ate here Saturday. Absolutely loved it here. Great service and amazing food! For the first tome we also tried a fried Twinkie. Highly recommend and definitely will be back!
Can’t understand anyone saying this is less than a 4 star! The food was excellent. The parking was the only issue but that shouldn’t reflect on how good the food was!
The. BBQ was excellent. If you drive through the area it is one of the best stops for lunch or dinner. The staff was friendly and courteous.
My wife, daughter, & I checked this place out yesterday while up in Carlsbad at the recommendation of a friend and it was awesome. The staff was great and the food was off the chain. Best ribs I've had in forever and the honey BBQ sauce was amazing. Oh and a shout out to the cute redhead waitress with the great sense of humor who put up with our shenanigans. She definitely added fun to the experience. We're definitely going back when we're up that way.
It's a Wonderful place to eat. The service, every time I have gone,that's been like maybe 5 times,has gone down. And the Old,Disrespectful,Loud,Hateful Lady/ Cashier-Host.....NEEDS TO GO! or retrained with better management skills and customer service.thats my biggest complaint. She is very hateful. I should record her actions to prove my allegations.
The food was pretty tasty and came out fast which was nice as we were in a bit of a hurry! The fried okra was a nice side to have with the bbq. The portions are big and you will not leave here still hungry! The service was also good. Nice little local joint with some big flavors! Would recommend.
Had the flip which is a dish invented by this restaurant owner. Extremely healthy good quality of peppers used all the ingredients seem to work well together and came fresh.
Food was really good, we ordered the turkey and sweet potato fries. One word of caution, do not sit by the cashier because the phone is ringing a lot and take out orders are being picked up. Very noisy and annoying. Service was very good also.

Their ribs are tender and juicy and melt in your mouth. Some of the best BBQ I've ever had (and I'mfrom Tx). My picky parents even agreed it was quality.
