9/11 The Wife and myself stopped by about 1:30 today. We like good Indian food, however we only do the buffet. This is because we do not know what to order off the menu. You can’t go wrong with a buffet, it may not offer everything but you can try a little of it all and decide what you like best. Drink plenty of water with your meal some of the curries can make you sweat. Water goes better with this food than soda. Overall we liked it here, nice place decent food. Worthy of a return trip.
If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would! The service was amazing. My husband only drinks water and he always has to wait at restaurants for a water refill. Here his cup was never empty! The food was amazing and such a caring waiter explained what everything was to us as it was our first time trying Indian food. Plus you cannot beat these prices! We felt like we were getting a five star meal with amazing customer service and were expecting to pay a pretty penny for our meal and it was so inexpensive! Would recommend this restaurant to anyone!
One of the best Indian buffets we have found in Indiana! Absolutely delicious.
Update - We did revisit this in September of 2023. The buffet is BACK, one of the VERY few I know about that has come back. I'll say this, however, I dropped to 4 stars for a few reasons. Still excellent service and LOVE the HUGE variety of dishes to try (unique for sure). What I didn't like is that 9 out of 10 were just NOT spicy at all. Just creamy.
There were two I DID absolutely LOVE, the darker orange ones which do have a GREAT amount of heat to them. One was chicken (in the photo of the buffet with my plate - it is the top middle next to Tandoori chicken) and the other was I believe a tofu (in the photo of the buffet without my plate - it is in the back right the dark orange chunks) that reminded me of orange chicken.
Great garlic naan, super cream and fantastic mango lassi. Just wish more spice, even in things like the chutney's. Also surprised the lack of the classic chicken tikka masala. But - STILL a solid Indian restaurant and worth visiting - especially if you have NOT experienced Indian food or don't like a lot of spice as you get exposed to a huge variety in the buffet.
I am extremely curious to know what the green drink in the very back was, as I tried it by itself and it was like pure vinegar or something VERY strong and I didn't like. I may have been consuming it wrong but it was in the dessert region on its own table with tea.
I tried this place while staying at a nearby Hyatt Place. I called ahead to order pick-up and they told me to come in 20 mins. When I got there in 20 mins, it was another 20 mins until my food was ready, so that’s why I only gave 4 stars. I tried the paneer tiki masala and garlic naan, and it was some of the best Indian food I’ve had. Absolutely delicious and savory! I got it “spicy,” and it was the perfect amount of hot. Almost borderline too hot so if you don’t like spice, definitely don’t get spicy! I will try again.
Amber Indian has the BEST lunch buffet and naan! Great flavors, several vegetarian options, and nice service.
This time we decided to dine in this restaurant instead of doing a carry-out. We ordered malai kofta and daal tadka with onion kulcha. The food took a long time to be served which was unusual as there was one more couple beside us dining at that time. Looks like they give preference to carry out orders which we were getting ready pretty quick. The food tasted good and hot as we expected. Their entrees come with complimentary naan and rice. The quantity of an entree was reasonable. If their speed of service improve, I would not hesitate to go back. But for now, I will stick to carrying out food instead of dining there. Our carry out experience is always good and consistent.
Very tasty meals with savourous smell of spices. I love their biryanis and Indian breads. sambal starters are great, i could have them forever.
Drove an hour to eat here for my birthday lunch and was not disappointed! Loved the buffet, everything was tasty and fresh. Very nice and clean looking place as well. Will definitely be back!!

I really liked their lunch buffet. More variety and quality than other Indian buffets. It would be nice if they had a pitcher of water on the table so I didn't have to wait for water, but it's a great place.
Went door the Sunday lunch buffet. They have a really great spread of excellent Indian foods. The spinach and paneer are amazing, the chicken dishes and Tika can't be beat. The lemon rice is absolutely delicious! The service is on point and quick to take care of refills and garlic nann. If you haven't been, I highly suggest you try it! It's in a plaza and is pretty standard for a plaza type restaurant, but the interior is simple, clean, and nice. Well worth it. The price of the buffet was certainly reasonable, especially for most prices you find these days.
The food was tasty except for the white basmati rice- it had been sitting out to long and was so dry it was crunchy. Everything else was delicious. I did the lunch buffet and it is admittedly better than I expected for a buffet.
Delicious!! Superb food and very attentive servers in a very pleasant atmosphere. If you like Indian food or want to just try it for the first time, this is the place to go. Authentic! And reasonable prices, too.
Great lunch buffet with a lot of variety including goat curry! Highly recommend the rice pudding for dessert. Garlic naan was amazing too, best I ever had in truth.
The food is good quality. Service is very fast and efficient. Maybe a bit too fast if you are looking for a more leisurely meal. It is a large restaurant with plenty of space to accommodate large groups. Drink choice is a bit limited but wine is acceptable and good Indian beer. Good value for money.
