We were in town for a baseball tournament. Roselli's Pizza (manager Antonio and waitress staff) were awesome. They were very patient and helpful w/ us as we had to order pizza for 20+ people. The patio is enclosed and was perfect for our group. The food was ready for us when we came in. The pizzas were delicious. The salads are huge. Thank you Roselli's for great team meal after two successful tournament games.
Not as good as it used to be. We ordered the Roselli's Monster (I think that is what they call it) and it wasn't nearly as generously topped and tasty as it was a year or two ago. Not sure if they are cutting costs or we just got a not-so-stellar pizza, but for the price, it wasn't worth it. Still good, but not what it once was.
Ate here for the first time today, and look forward to going about again in the future. We ordered the Chicago deep dish and were able to split it with veggies on one side and sausage classic on the other. The service was great and the food was tasty. My only complaint was that it needed to have more sauce. It was tasty and there wasn't enough of it. True Chicago deep dish has a lot more sauce.
We were in the mood for some Chicago style pizza, and we thought we give this a try. Stopped in about 8:00 on a Friday evening, no line, ordered at the counter, took a number and sat right down. Basic pizzeria menu-Breadsticks, pizza with a few different crust options, calzones, and some pasta selections. They are also offer large group sizes/catering menu of their items. We ordered a family size order of breadsticks with cheese sauce, large deep dish barbecue combination pizza , and a small Chicago style cheese only pizza. Food came in a timely fashion, and the wait staff were friendly. Drink refills were slow at times. Everyone agreed that food was fine. A few of us were not big fans of the flavor of the barbecue pizza, others liked it. The chunky tomato sauce and flavor of the Chicago style cheese pizza was a hit with my 6 yr old.
First of all - what great people! Very friendly and helpful. From a food point of view, I'd say this was good Chicago style pizza. I'm not a huge fan of the genre and, like most I've had, this was a bit bland for my tastes. Chi town pizza seems to generally have stewed tomatoes spread across the top as opposed to a more flavorful cooked spicey sauce. That's the genre snd Roselli's dies it well. The crust was nice and there was lots of thick cheese and toppings.
The restaurant is a local place with one location. The interior was "rustic pizza joint" nice and the cooking is done mostly in view of the front counter.
Reasonable pizza, great friendly service. This is a nice place.
Being a Chicagoland native, I am very fickle about pizza. I've tried Donato's (horrible), Marco's (decent but a typical chain), Jet's (they're ok), Etc. Roselli's is amazing! Very good sauce and toppings overall. They use tomato chunks on their deep dish pizza which is great-definitely beats the traditional tomato sauce/paste. Remember, this review is coming from a true, picky foodie.
Deep dish Classico is heavenly. As good as the Greek pizza we left behind on the Connecticut coast !
Authentic Chicago Pizza. I'm from Chicago, so I'm pretty familiar with Chicago style pizza. It's about as authentic as you can get. Tip: ask for it well done if you like your thin crust extra crispy. The prices are extremely reasonable too! They offer deep dish, but I have yet to move past the thin crust to try it, but I've heard it's excellent.
Pizza & Breadsticks good..! Nice outdoor dining area..!. Wife and I traveled from the west side to West Carmel for yet another urbanspoon wishlist pizza trek.
This establishment is the type that you order your food and drinks from the counter & pay first, then upon receipt of your plastic numbered placard that you place at the end of your table of choosing, they deliver everything to you.
The breadsticks were served freshly hot. They didn't necessarily stand out to be the most memorable thing we've tasted but they were none-the-less pretty good. The accompanying cheese and sauce were flavorful in accordance with the breadsticks as one would expect and didn't have any negative noteworthy surprises.
The "Pepperoni, Sausage, and Bacon" pizza we ordered was pretty good too. We opted not to try the deep dish as we weren't necessarily that hungry but will try next time we are in the area. As a side note, I reheated the pizza the next day, and it was still very good tasting. Excellent re-heat factor as I say from time to time. Very important to me ;)
Our server was extremely attentive. She made sure we had everything we needed at every turn and made sure our drinks were always topped off.
I will note that I did like the attached sheltered outdoor dining area. Nice touch!
I wouldn't list this pizza in my top 3 of all time, likely in my top 20, but for one that wishes to visit a place that does make a better than most pizza, with good service and doesn't need to travel over 5 miles such as ourselves to get one, I would certainly suggest this place for a try.
Chicago deep dish YUMMY. Very good. Make sure you know what you want up front - they'll take your order and charge you the bill at the beginning of the meal. Best deep dish I've had in Indy.

Chicago Style pizza hits way different than New York Style this was a small 10 inch 6 slice it’s a big difference in every way the crust is made from scratch crispy crunchy buttery goodness on the edges but soft sweetness on the inside. The sauce was made from scratch sweet chunky tomatoes with fresh high grade mozzarella. Quality wise, and flavor wise it’s the best pizza I ever tasted but it’s messy to eat. This the type of pizza you don’t want to eat alone it’s so delicious you want to share it with family and friends.
Rosellli's is a main stopping point for my son, godson and I. We start with the fried ravioli (choice of cheese and beef). Then we have our fill of specialty pizza or sometimes just cheese. Either way a winner. Sitting on the "outside" deck is a must which is enclosed with a roof and glass windows. Big windows are opened when warm and the fans are on so it doesn't get too hot.
Wait staff is super friendly and amazing. Food is awesome.
Then there are televisions to watch the games. Great place for our boys days out.
We'll go back over and over again
Was in town on a business trip a month ago from KY, ate here on my next to last day. I ordered a large deep dish. The pizza was huge !! It was salted on the bottom upper portion of the crust, different but good. My only two complaints, one the tomato sauce was too sweet, and it’s pretty dark inside. But I would certainly eat here again.
Went for the chicago style pizza buffet. Servuce was friendly, food was hot and plentiful. Dont go in thinking about a big buffet. Buffet counter has room for about 4-5 pizzas (maybe medium sized pans). Salad bar made me giggle (a bowl of romaine, a bowl if chopped tomatoes amd I just stopped there). The only pasta was spaghetti noodles and a meat marinara sauce.
Go for the pizza! Thin crust, deep dish, the deluxe hand tossed was phenomenal. Garlic bread was okay, overcooked so it was very dry.
$15 per person includes all this and a drink (Pepsi yay). They have a regular menu we may revisit as well!
You order your food, then sit down. No table service.
Will definitely go back.
I've always loved Roselli's, but I decided to leave a review this time because my family was in from outside of town for the weekend and wanted some pizza. Wanted to treat them to something they couldn't always get back home...deep dish and thick crust pan pizza. It was ready in 20 minutes and my family said out loud "My gosh, this is really good!" I wanted to make my family happy on their visit and Roselli's helped that goal. Thank you!
We loved their deep-dish pizza!! It had such a yummy buttery crust. We also enjoyed the cheese bread. We ate outside on a fabulous weather day, but we could see high-backed booths available for inside dining.
I find reviews extremely helpful. I also know when to look for someone who just wants to complain. I do have some critical reviews, but I am a fair reviewer. We all work hard for our money and I expect to get what I'm paying for and what the business is advertising and offering.
Onto Roselli's. My husband and I were at an area dealership a couple months ago and decided to stop in there on our way home. BAM! Wow! Amazing. Talk about quality and get your money's worth! They have the art of pizza and Italian food down to a mastery. We decided to try a pick-up order but try a few other things. BAM, amazing again! We got a ton of food, salad, appetizers, a pizza (that wouldn't fit into our fridge). Their salad dressing must be made there. The Ceasar salad was amazing, the jalapeno poppers OMG, best I've ever had! Their crust is amazing. We got a ton of food and extra sauces, etc for about $60. Heck we almost spend that much at MickyDs for three adults and a bunch of yuck.
So, short story long, you won't be disappointed. I didn't care much for the atmosphere when I was there the first time. I like dark, but it was a bit too dark, but the servers and everyone working there (even for the pick up order) are amazing!
Thank you Roselli's for a wonderful experience. We will be repeat customers for years to come (God willing). :-)
They have made changes to the pizza sauce, it's sweeter and not as fond of it. Also. It taste like they have added salt to the bottom of crust.
I would like there sandwiches to be what you expect out of a pizzeria. The Italian sub is like what you get at subway, but not as good. No stromboli on the menu. There is not a consistency on the salads. We ordered a salad that should have been romaine and head lettuce. It was all head lettuce.
I have patronized Roselli's for years but I may need to consider a new pizzeria.
We are from Chicago and this place did not disappoint! Right up there with our favorite Chicago pizza places. If you are visiting Indy, you need to put this place on your list! Yummm!
UPDATE (1 Year Later): I have been to this place twenty times since my initial review. It is incredible. Please ignore my original comment about sogginess. That was an anomaly. And, geeze, that sauce -- so good. Just the right amount of sweetness. I wish I was eating it right now. Who knows, maybe I am while you are reading this.
Great pizza. It was a little soggy, but that's a small price to pay for the right amount of sauce. The crust was thick and crunchy, the cheese was fresh, and the sauce had a good flavor. I was very happy with this pie!
Picked up the pizza to go and when I got home and ate it, wow, couldn't believe how good it was! One of the best pies I have had to date in Indy.
This place has a pizza lunch buffet!! I'll repeat pizza buffet! You literally can't find that anywhere anymore.
$14 includes drink, deep dish pizza(limited get there early) thin crust, spaghetti, salad, and a great staff.
I didn't get a picture of my last visit, but I got a mushroom calzone and it hit the spot!
Please tip the kid who picks up your plates. He's a great worker and human being.
Can't recommend this place enough!

My family and I have been ordering pizza from here for years now and the food has always been delicious. They have the best deep dish pizza and Italian beef sandwiches in Indy not to mention the thin crust pizza is incredible. Highly recommended.
The Chicago style pizza is fantastic and the great people working there make you feel welcome
I'm a Chicagoan who has lived in central Indiana for over a decade now. Roselli's thin crust pizza is the closest thing to what long standing neighborhood joints in Chicago serve.
The crust is a perfect combination of chewy and crispy. No other pizza I've tried in Indiana has gotten this right.
Their pasta and salad are also really good. Haven't tried their deep dish, as back home that's mostly for tourists.
