Alex and his staff are totally awesome! They hosted my book signing last night, and it was a huge success. Words cannot express my gratitude to all of them, especially owner Alex Stanley. They are also generous supporters of local charities and fundraisers, and helped us raise money and awareness for IndyHumane's Mutt Strut. Thank you, Books & Brews Carmel! Julie Osborne

We love going to Books & Brews on Mondays for mug night! We are members of the mug club and get together to play games with friends and some of the regulars. The service is always amazing, and the quesadillas are AWESOME. Love this place!!

I love coming to this establishment or any of the others around the city. The food and beer selections are great, and not just their brews but other local breweries as well. It fun to sit back with a game and some good music or book. If I ever had to leave Indy I would totally explore the possibility of franchising outside the state if they were so interested. Great business.

This place is really magical — they’ve got a section just for those who are over 21, and the rest of the place is all-ages. You’ll find a ton of bookshelves with books and board games. There’s also a lot of really soft t-shirts for sale. You can enjoy some snacks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and if you're lucky -- get to hear some live music!

A nice branch of the Indy books and brew. Not as many games but it will build up. It's an industrial feel with a great beer selection! The Shogun ale is my favorite!!!

We’ve been a big fan of the original off 96th and glad to have a location in Carmel. Plenty of games and books to keep our one and three-year-old happy while mom and dad can enjoy a beer and take home a random book. “A place for people without a place.” We will be back soon.

Adorable library/bar. They also have board games to play. Lots of seating. Good for small and large groups. They have a surprising amount of great food options. Lots of local wine and beer. Staff is attentive and polite, and their trivia nights are fun. There's a good deal of parking around and a lot of different things to do in this building complex. Loved Books & Brew and will definitely be going here more often!

Board games, used books, solid food, good beer and themed nights—what more can you ask for? Every time I’ve been to this B&B location has been a great experience. There’s plenty of room for my group of friends, and we’ve enjoyed bingo and trivia nights here several times. If there’s nothing going on, we usually pull out the Sequence box and start making our own fun. The staff members are always friendly, too!
