The best ever possible steak you can have. They take time to prepare food , but wait is worth it . I am steak lover , never had so juicy well done steak ever in my life , it melts in ur mouth .
I had seen in movies that first bite of food was so good that your eyes closed with taste . I had that mesmerizing experience today , i could taste every single flavor of spice and was sooo good .
I loved it !
Exceptional. This was our first time in Carmel and we absolutely adored this place. The server recommended a fabulous bottle of locally made wine, we had abalone for the first time (and got to keep the beautiful shell), and the dessert was absolutely amazing. I'm a pescatarian and there were awesome options that fit my preferences. The server recommended we grab drinks at a darling little mezcal place afterward and that was amazing as well. We will absolutely be back!
Grasing’s was a pleasant experience. We have spent the last 8 days between Napa and Carmel. Enjoying great wine, food and service.
We’ve spared no expense focused on making the most of our experience.
Even though Gracing’s was by far not the most expensive, we both left this evening agreeing that it was our best meal and experience of our trip.
Mark, our server was amazing. Attentive to our questions about the meal and our wine choices. The atmosphere was high end yet unpretentious.
I enjoyed the Paella and my wife the Scallops. The palella was perfect as was her scallop dish.
Nice job. Highly recommended.
Great menu diversity, well thought out wine list with options for any price point, and great service. Our server Mark was as good as it gets. Our anniversary dinner was one we will remember. Thank you.
Always a great experience. Whenever in Carmel we always stop here for lunch with our Scottish Terrier, Henry. Nice outside patio with plenty of heaters, dog beds, and water bowls. The food and staff are always the best!
The wait staff were great. Provided knowledgeable wine recommendations and were very personable with myself as well as the other patrons sitting at the bar. The truffle white cheddar popcorn will convince you that Carmel is actually heaven... And that's just a starter :)
Dog friendly and amazing food. We tried the short ribs, and they were flavorful, tender and juicy. The paella was amazing and the best flavors and perfectly cooked seasoned rice. Definitely have the raspberry tart or apple crisp for dessert. Creme brulee was so so.
Went here for the last dinner of our honeymoon, and we have not stopped thinking about it since!
Service was phenomenal, with several staff always making sure we had what we needed. They were also ready with drink recommendations, as their drink and wine list is extensive.
We ordered the special, A-5 Waygu with truffle fries, the artichoke ravioli, spicy hummus salad, bread and butter, and creme brulee for dessert.
Everything was flawless, and we are still thinking about that waygu weeks later. It was worth the $500 we spent on dinner for the two of us. This is an excellent choice if you're looking for an elevated, elegant night out while in Carmel.
Note, this place does not have a "kids menu" but we did observe the table next to us being able to order a kids sized pasta, so they're also very flexible and accommodating.
Fantastic atmosphere and excellent food. We shared the bone-in Prime ribeye and it was absolutely amazing. Very impressive wine list for those with Deep Pockets looking for a special bottle.
During our visit service was very spotty. We were forgotten after being seated the first time and then proactively found a waiter to help us. Unfortunately after our meal was delivered we never saw that waiter again so we had to track down another waiter so we could pay the bill.
I'm sure this is not standard practice and perhaps it was because we were outside at a table with our dog. We do very much appreciate the pet friendly approach. They even brought a bed for our dog to the table when we were seated.
Enjoyed a delicious dinner at Grasings in Carmel. We did not have a reservation but were able to be immediately seated in the bar, which included full menu service. My friend enjoyed the mussels and I had the carrot ginger coconut milk soup (vegan) as a starter. We split the artichoke and fontina ravioli, as well as a berry crumble a la mode. We paired Cab Franc with dinner and cappuccino with dessert. Attentive and accommodating service in a rustic chic atmosphere. Would return to enjoy additional menu items!
The best bread we have ever eaten! Overall, the food was absolutely delicious and the experience and service were top notch. Highly recommend this place.
Grazing's in Carmel, California, takes the burger game up a notch with their lunch Charbroil Angus Burger, now enhanced with the smoky crunch of bacon and the creamy goodness of avocado slices. The first bite delivers a symphony of flavors – the rich juiciness of the beef harmoniously melds with the savory kick of bacon and is beautifully complemented by the buttery texture of the avocado. This trio, set against the backdrop of a crisp green salad, strikes an impeccable balance of indulgence, freshness, and flair. A culinary masterpiece in its own right, this burger is a testament to Grazing's commitment to elevate classic dishes. A must-visit for anyone in Carmel, it promises an unforgettable gastronomic journey.
UPDATE 7.22.23: One of our "go-to" restaurants in Carmel, Grasings never fails to disappoint. Our recent trip included another visit to Grasings and my wife and I shared a bottle of Austin Hope Cabernet and an order of Crispy Calamari (comes with toasted leek rings and basil aioli). Wonderful as always.
UPDATE 7.23.22: During our most recent Carmel stay, my wife and I enjoyed a nice little brunch at Grasings. Again, we sat on the second floor. The heaters were on and the open-air feel was great. For drinks, I ordered the Mimosa. My wife ordered the Wasabi-Dungeness Crab Bloody Mary which she said was fantastic. The Bloody Mary is expensive at $18, but she said it was worth it. We ordered a couple appetizers that we've enjoyed before and these didn't disappoint: the Crisp Calamari with toasted leeks and basil aioli and the Charcuterie Board. Highly recommended.
Nice little place in Carmel, CA. We sat on the second floor and enjoyed brunch with some appetizers and wine. Service was good. Prices a little on the high side, but the food was delicious. The server brought toasted sourdough with an agave glaze (consisted of agave, sea salt and truffle oil). Our appetizers were the petite-sized calamari and toasted leek rings with basil aioli, and the petite-sized charcuterie board. Paired with a couple glasses of Cabernet.

What an amazing restaurant. The menu selection for drinks, food, and dessert. Waitstaff and service was astounding. The waiter was patient and had a great, professional sense of humor.
We had the Scallops with Purple Cauliflower puree and New York Strip with vegetables and mashed potatoes. All cooked perfectly.
We also had a surprise dessert as it was a wedding reception. FABULOUS!
Fillet mignon done medium w baked potatoes. Simple but certainly very tasty and potatoes done w cheese & bacon were fabulous. Good ambience. Am on a Road Trip across North America and this is the Best steak I have tasted. Hope to find more of such places on my journey.
We were celebrating our anniversary! They decorated our table, gave us a Happy Anniversary card signed by the Chef and a sweet dessert with a candle! The food is amazing and the staff is attentive and friendly! Thank you for making our night so special!!! If you stop by Carmel by the Sea, you have to make reservations for this restaurant!
My wife and I went here last night and it was phenomenal! We had the seafood soup which was top notch, the duck breast was outstanding and the short rib was hands down some of the best I've ever had! We will definitely be back the next time we come back to Carmel. Also our server was so informative, nice and took excellent care of us.
Thank you for the VIP treatment Grasings!
I recently dined at this wonderful restaurant, and I must say, the experience was exceptional. From the moment I stepped in, the friendly host greeted me warmly, setting the tone for the rest of the visit. The waitstaff was equally delightful - kind, knowledgeable, always attentive and ready to assist.
The food was fantastic - a delightful explosion of flavors in each dish, beautifully presented with evident care and culinary expertise.
I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a place where exceptional service, delicious food, and a beautiful ambiance come together to create a truly memorable dining experience.
Incredible Californian cuisine. Chef Firmen prepared me an incredible Filet. The food here is amazing.
Our waiters Rodrigo and Joseph were amazing. This is a must try restaurant. Probably one of the best restaurant in Carmel.
Great spot for some good food.
Sitting outside wasn't the best for me because the area is so tight that you felt like you were eating with people next to you.
The service was awesome but the prices were a little high (for me).
Overall it's definitely worth visiting.
Traveling from Alabama with my friend from Georgia we picked Grasings for my birthday dinner celebration. It was over the top AMAZING! I loved the atmosphere, the trim on the draperies 🙌🏻 the chandeliers and lighting was on point. Not too bright, not too dark. An incredible wine list, nice variety on the menu, top notch service. The servers and the kitchen were in total sync. I enjoyed the fois poland, my friend (and I) gobbled up the onion rings. We shared the warm spinach salad which was fabulous. But my sole entrée was by far the best piece of fish I have ever eaten. And I’ve traveled the world! Perfectly pan seared atop creamy potatoes accompanied by grilled asparagus and a beautiful carrot. They surprised me with a birthday dessert and we indulged! Oh- and the wine pairings. Yes! Yes! Yes!!! You definitely need to experience this special dining spot!
