Absolutely the best views of the Pacific Ocean from an elegant restaurant that’s perched on the top of the coastline.
The unobstructed views extend for miles Bay interrupted by the the reflection of the sun or the mist lifting from the ocean. It’s a great spot to take a date or spend quality time with. Significant other.
If you are looking to impress or have Romantic lunch or dinner this is it. The sunsets are out of this world….
HAPPY HOUR, Don't miss it. Best Value in all of Carmel! Amazing view, great service and the food was delicious. The view is incredible and the Happy Hour menu is amazing. We spit a burger and Caesar Salad which was plenty. I ordered the sous-vide Old Fashioned which was delicious but they used "cheap" cherry not the kind you would expect from an upscale establishment like this. Would definitely come again. They have an outdoor patio which is also lovely.
My best place in North CA since 2009. I visited with my family and my mom-in-law and it is still the wonderful place currently. I love this place and I definitely visit this place again when I come back to North Ca.
The views are tough to beat here. Food was excellent. I had the halibut and my Wife had the smaller portion filet. Picture I uploaded is the Ceviche appetizer. Service was on-point. Find me a better scene from this elevated POV on the PCH. I'd be surprised if you can. Good stuff!
Pacific edge restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, spectacular views of the California coastline, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, wide wine list and wonderful dessert. Our waiter Francisco was very attentive and Friendliness making our night memorable .
What an experience! The view from Pacific’s Edge was breathtaking, especially as the sun set right next to us. Definitely make a reservation in advance and, if I may suggest, do so for at least 30 minutes before the sun is scheduled to set that day. The view and the sunset make an incredible combination. 🌅
Besides the view, the food was amazing. I ordered the short rib, one of the entrees that was marked “gluten free” on the menu. As I picked up my knife to cut into the meat, I realized it wasn’t necessary as the meat completely separated just with the fork. The portions were just the right size.
The experience was expensive, but worth it for a special occasion or “treat yourself” event. Our server was fun and connected well with us. He also took us a photo! We did find it a bit weird, though, that we weren’t offered anything to drink except for water. We didn’t receive a drink menu or wine list, but it was probably better to save money anyway!
The view was incredible! Got here early ahead of our reservation and enjoyed a cocktail while watching the sunset. Once seated, the service was great and the food was very filling. We celebrated my uncles birthday and he really enjoyed the occasion
Went for dinner and to watch the sunset - beautiful views, delicious food/drinks, lovely atmosphere and excellent service! Couldn't ask for anything more ..
Everything and I mean EVERYTHING we ordered was flavorful and delicious! Yumm
The street corn, the wedge salad the ribeye ah simply Devine!
The sunset views, high end atmosphere, first class service, and excellent menu makes this an absolute must visit location.
Made a reservation for Friday lunch here. It was very quiet so I got to sit outside with a great view! Food was expensive but very fresh and tasty! It’s worth it to dine with that view!
Charcuterie board was ok, dispensable. But the burrata salad was fresh, creamy and delicious, as well as the fish with risotto, and meat.
We ended up seating outside and it was very pleasant. I think if you seat inside it would be louder probably.
During a recent visit to Pacific Edge Restaurant, I was impressed by the breathtaking views and exceptional ambiance, perfect for both special occasions and casual dining. The food was a delight, with a variety of flavorsome dishes that were both aesthetically pleasing and of high quality. However, there was a minor issue regarding a miscommunicated minimum order policy, which was later clarified as non-existent by the restaurant. This minor service inconsistency didn't significantly impact the overall positive experience. I would still recommend Pacific Edge for its stunning setting and culinary excellence, hoping that the miscommunication was an isolated incident and not a deterrent to future guests.
This was my first time at this restaurant. We came and sat at the bar for a Birthday cocktail and had the most amazing server Alex. He was very personable and kind made me feel special for my big day. I would recommend the drinks and food here every time. We ordered the fish tacos, calamari, and garlic fries.
Celebrated my wife’s Birthday at this spectacular dining establishment. From the warm welcome to the excellent service and to top it off the food was amazing. Additionally we had the most romantic view of the Pacific Ocean and Point Lobos. We highly recommend dining at Pacific’s Edge!
Incredible experience! Why? Read below:
1) the service was espectacular; very kind, helpful by answering all our questions; fast with the attention and the food. Attentive to our needs and always around in case you need something.
2) Food was very flavorful and fresh. We got there for breakfast at opening time, and the food was served fast. The pics show how fresh are the fruits and vegetables.
The bread and pancakes tasted recently baked. They yogurt was European style, and not too sugary.
Good coffee! Which is a plus, but not refills; so if you need more than 1 cup, be ready to pay for each cup. We ordered americanos; and the cup was rather small, but worth it.
3) the location is unbelievable, check the video I posted. Very calming and relaxing while enjoying your b-food.
4) the place was very clean and the bathrooms with all the supplies needed.
5)The price is on the high end, because you are paying for the location, view, food, good service, etc.
definitely a “coming back” for us!
Hope you enjoy it as well!

Beautiful view of the ocean! Amazing food! The clam chowder and ceaser salad were perfect for a mid day snack on an epic road trip. The huge fireplace warmed us all up on a stormy afternoon. The hostess was the best part of the service experience. We ordered the side of Dungeness crab, and unfortunately, we didn't know it came cold and unseasoned, so we had to send it back. The tea setup was charming! My only complaint was that the service was a little slow, but they were polite. The food was pricey, but the view definitely made up for it.
Splendid restraunt on the edge of the earth. Great service by Chris. Food was delectable.
