Must try place!! The ambience, the service, the food all gets 5 stars! We were so hungry after skydiving at Monterey, we found this place and we hogged up the food so fast. Heavenly, indulging, awesomeness!
After taking in the 17-mile Scenic Drive through Pebble Beach we drove in to Carmel to this amazing gem at The Barnyard. Beautiful inside, great atmosphere. I ordered the Cauliflower-Turmeric soup, a bonus that it's dairy free and it was so silky smooth and delicious. Perfect for a drizzly foggy evening. I also ordered the Chili-Garlic tofu tandoor which the server warned me was very spicy. He was right- it was fiery, fragrant and delicious alongside a generous helping of coconut rice. It also came with vegetables that unfortunately were bland and uninteresting but don't let that stop you. We left most of one piece only because we were stuffed. We also had the vegetable coconut curry, saucy, flavorful and delicious and a perfect naan. We're in town for Rennsport 7 at Laguna Seca so we won't be back but I would be a regular here if I lived in the area. Go visit them!
Best indian food I've had! My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary to celebrate and have dinner the service was great, they took really good care of us and sat us indoor by the fireplace and even brought a flower to our table. Their Chicken Tikka Masala and Lamb Curry is highly recommended, such good flavor. At the end of dinner the server was so sweet and gave us some Indian sweets to celebrate. Highly recommend this restaurant, cozy and romantic for date night.
I stopped in to have dinner before I left California. Indian food is my favorite. They did not disappoint! I had my favorite Tikka Masala, with coconut rice and garlic Naan. It is a small little quaint place with a fireplace to warm you up on cold days.
Food was delicious though on a bit pricey side. The lady serving us was very nice. We ordered Samosa, Tandoori momo, butter cilantro naan, lamb rogan josh, chicken biryani, Mango lassi. Everything was just perfect to our taste!
We used them for catering our wedding in coordination with Mr. Bhupender, who is the owner of the place. He went above and beyond to deliver with lot of personal touch. He also gave us specific dishes which were our favorite as bride and groom present. Overall, presentation, food, quality and service was too notch. I will highly recommend.
Thanks Bhupender ji:)
We were lucky to found the restaurant on our way to Bixby creek bridge.Lunch buffet had so many delicious options. The food, service and ambiance is excellent. Great Indian restaurant and a must try.
This is the #1 rated Indian Restaurant in the 831. Been a regular here since they opened up this location. Food is on point. Bar and Drinks are limited to Beer and Wine but they have the best. Service is impeccable and never have we had anything that tastes different. They accommodate your taste preferences for mild, medium and spicy infusions in their offerings. Even during the pandemic, they have been delivering their best with no compromise. Go there with an appetite and I promise you will not be disappointed. Binit, Ashish and the rest of the crew there will make sure you have a delicious dining experience. Right from appetizers, drinks, main course to dessert, everything is awesome 👍👌👌
Lunch buffet 22.99 a little pricey but everything was hot and fresh and delicious. The butter chicken, lentils naan and condiments were fresh and tasty. Will def be back.
Great Ambience, great food, great service. Can’t complain for anything.
We reached here on the way by luck after 8 hours of drive and we were the last customer at around 9pm in the night, but we got full service and best food.
I recently dined at Aabha that left a lasting impression on me. The food was both good and unique, showcasing a wonderful blend of flavors. The service was exceptional, with super friendly and helpful staff. The portion sizes were satisfying and provided great value. The restaurant offered a wide variety of dishes, and their chai was incredibly delicious and some of the best I've ever tasted. The comfortable and inviting atmosphere added to the overall experience. In summary, this Indian restaurant delivers an exceptional dining experience with its delicious and unique food, friendly service, good-sized portions, and inviting ambiance
We have been here a few times and it has been great. The appetizers, curries and customer service is where they shine. After trying the various other Indian restaurants in Monterey and Carmel area, we actually ended up going with them to cater our wedding. Bhupender Singh, the owner, was extremely attentive to not only the setup and menu but also to all the little details, such that the signage and that the order of items was laid out correctly. I would highly recommend them again for the area and for catering as well.
Also all the Indian guests (including the aunts and uncles) and the western guests raved about the food. You can tell there is a good balance to appease everyone.
Nice atmosphere, perfect food quality and quantity..
had cauliflower turmeric soup and veg Cocunut curry and white rice .,
Excellent, fresh Indian food. We had the Tikka Masala and Saag Paneer. Some of the best we’ve ever eaten! Super friendly service and a lovely ambiance as well.
The taste of the dishes ordered was good. Decent Indian restaurant in the locality.
Unique and excellent Indian cuisine. We randomly discovered this restaurant when the Lafayette bakery was closed and it was a pleasant surprise. We didn't get a chance to try the lunch menu as we stopped by for a quick bite. All the appetizers were really good - The samosas and avocado pomegranate chaat were the highlight. The ambience is great as well.
