We travelled from Concord NC(about 3 1/2 hrs away), to spend our New Year's weekend at Carolina Beach. We purchased tix ahead of time for the NYE bash at SeaWitch. It was our 1st time and we all had a blast. The band "Machine Gun" performed and sounded great. They did not appear to oversell tickets
