Delicious fancy pizzas. Decent sized portions. Changing menus quite often. Very friendly and helpful staff. Dinner times may require a bit of a wait. Overall excellent experience. Highly recommend.
Absolutely the best pizza around chapel Hill! My favorite is the salami with spicy honey drizzle (pictured). The salads are also amazing. Definitely not the cheapest place BUT it is worth every penny. So if you get the chance to treat yourself , Pizzeria Mercato is the place to go.
Delicious pizza! Thin, crispy, chewy crust with excellent quality toppings! Arancini were perfectly fried and superbly flavorful. Good, friendly service. Will be back!
I haven’t been in person but got takeout and everything was delicious. We got two pizzas, the fritti, the side of foccacia, and dessert. Everything was very fresh and so tasty. We’ll definitely be picking up again soon!
Somewhere between a classic Neopolitan style and a New York style, is the delightful crust at Pizzeria Mercato. Love the flavors - highly recommend the Mortadella & Margherita and the Cannoli is absolutely yumm!!
Grilled octopus was way too salty. The salami pizza was thin crust, crispy but there was a weird smell. Ordered meatballs to go. Overall, not very pleasant experience.
Delightful shop using local ingredients to craft artisan pies! Friendly staff, great service, curated wine list at very favorable prices. No reservations and Friday and Saturday nights are busy.
