My husband wanted to check out the candy shop downtown, so we figured we'd grab lunch close by. My husband has been to the Josey location and loved the strawberry pastry & cafe con leche, and I suggested we try out the new location. We weren't disappointed!! My shredded beef sandwich was moist and had great flavor. I also tried the Blood Orange soda- I wasn't expecting it to be sparkling but it was quite tasty! My husband got the Ybor Cuban and debated whose sandwich was better- we agreed to disagree. We finished it off by sharing a delicious strawberry pastry. WARNING: pastry is flakier than it appears!!! We will definitely go back!! Side note- we asked for 2 waters & were brought water in a rum bottle and 2 glasses. Since I drink water like a camel I loved this!! I was hydrated and didn't have to bother them for more water.

I have been coming to this location for the past two months every other Saturday. And every time I try a different pastry along with my double shot espresso Café con Leche. I must say its never a disappointment. I give it 5 Stars!!!!!!!

Our favorite bakery, the best place for a great cuban sandwich and the best papa rellenas stateside! The dulce de leche and guava brazo gitanos (along with every other dessert and pastry that we've tried there) are perfect.

Well worth the drive and we will definitely be back! The Papa Rellena, pastel de carne, and pastels de guyaba y queso were all delicious. We missed out on the croquetas, but hopefully next time :)

We had the American Sandwich . It was really good, but I suggest you get the sauce on the side, and add onions. The pastries were really good. Friendly service.

After seeing the movie Chef, my husband and I were dying to try a Cuban sandwich. So I researched the best places in Dallas to have one and ended up at International Bakery Cuban Dulceria. I had the Media Noche and my husband had the Ybor City Cuban. They were both wonderfully delicious. I also had to try the Cafe Con Leche. I had read reviews about how good it was. It was the best coffee hands down that I've ever had!!! I also tried a Guava & Cheese pasrty which was excellent. The service was excellent. We sat and ate at a table. Others were coming in and taking out. Everything in counter shelf looked good from Drunken Cake to Merengues. I got some small carmel merengues to go and a bread pudding. It was a nice surprise to find that the waiter had added in a guava pastry and a pineapple pastry. What a great date night! Thank you so much International Bakery!

Great find! My friend Daniel told me about this little gem. Since, wife loves Cuban sandwiches, I brought her here...OMG! It's owned and operated by Cuban sisters. For those in the know, no need to read any further. We're done. For those who don't know, please continue. First off, the atmosphere screams island relaxation. You walk into a glass row full of pastries and small bites prepared that morning. That could be enough for some. The sandwich (aka the reason we came). It was everything a cuban should be. The bread had a crisp buttery exterior to contrast the soft pillowy inside. It was neither too thick nor too thin. By the way, they prepare all the sandwiches to order, so there may be a wait if they're busy, but it's worth hot food. The ham and mortadella were cut so thin that you could see through them. The pork was soft and juicy, not dry. They also didn't kill the sandwich with too much mustard or pickles, nor did they starve it either with a lack of them. Normally, I detest Swiss cheese, but it marries perfectly with this combination. That first bite...well you're going to just have to experience that for yourself. All the pastries were tasty as well, but hey, this post is about the sandwich. Enjoy!

Delicious scratch Venezuelan food. The plantains are served with creme and mild white cheese. Muah💋! I had shredded avocado chicken served with this sweet corn pancake filled with cheese. Did I say delicious? Come!

Locally-owned great place. Small and cozy, the wait time is just right. As a Puerto Rican, just being there took me back to the Caribbean. Best croquetas de jamón and rellenos de papa. And if you really want some coffee.... simple.... their hands are angels from heaven. 😊 🙏 😊

The closest to the authentic Cuban sandwhich. Loved it! It shrunk in size but it was so delicious and so was that pastry. Yuuuummmm!!!

Can't believe I haven't been here yet! It's slightly hidden away but such a delight to visit! Had a cheese pastry and a cortadito. Both were so delicious!! Definitely a nice place to enjoy warm coffee and breakfast.

Fantastic Cuban bakery worth going the distance for every week! The owners are very nice and helpful in providing the most excellent selections of pastries and food items. I love their guava and cheese turnovers are the bomb, as well as their other pastries such as strawberry, pineapple, just guava and just cheese. All goes perfectly well with un cafe Cubano! I personally am not a coffee person, but I only go for this coffee! Such a worthy beautiful taste!

If you want a genuine, authentic, delicious, made freshly daily Cuban experience look no further! Every time I’m in Dallas my very first stop is “The Cuban Bakery”. It’s locally owned and run by two of the nicest sisters you could ever meet. Make sure you have a Cuban coffee for a real delicious treat. I can’t say enough about this local restaurant. As a matter of fact I’m heading there today :)

Their cortadito was delicious, and their cubano sandwich definitely hit the spot. I came in during lunch to see a good line to wait in - I'm glad I waited that day! Otherwise, it would have been a certain 'miss-out.' They had pastries as well - I will have to make another stop to try them next time.
