I normally go to Yoon but wanted to try some place different. So glad I did! This place was amazing. They bring the meat so fast and have a good variety to choose from. The whole staff was so friendly. The music was a lil loud but loved the energy. Will definitely be back.
Christina was the best server ever! I know servers would probably rather be off during the holidays but Christina was very attentive and fun despite working on Christmas. We had such a great time and my dad really appreciated her cleaning his shrimp. She also recommended some really great items. We were so sad when we found out my parents usual server no longer worked here but now we have Christina!

Johnatan was a waiter for our table . He is a good service always ask if we need some more food or anything else, and the food is good , nice restaurant will come back again, should give Johnatan a promotion to become a server he deserves the job, thank you

Came to Gen for dinner around three in the afternoon with over 25 people after a training camp near by. Got to say it was my first time coming here but I would highly recommend coming back here to eat. Great service on a very busy day. The food here is totally high quality and quick to come to the table. The attendants from the restaurant was very friendly and always checking on us.

I love this place. I do feel rushed when I eat here because of the staff, but I still return because I enjoy the food. The staff is very go-go-go, and when they change the grill, they put the food back on the new grill very messy. If you see the meat is neatly placed on the grill, you should try to at least place it back on the new grill as neatly as possible out of respect of the guests. When my most recent waitress did that after my first grill change, I had to explain to her that we had our meat in that format because some were already cooked and the other was cooking/still uncooked, but because she combined them all in a pile when she put them back on the new grill in one section, the uncooked meat got mixed in with the cooked meat that we were planning to eat. She did apologize but still continued to place our protein together after each grill change...it got to the point where I just cooked one type of protein at a time because I got tired of separating it after she changed the grill. She was very sweet and attentive, but I wish I didn’t feel rushed to eat or had to separate my uncooked meat from my cooked meat when I asked her to stop mixing them together after each grill change...I also went during lunch time so it was not busy at all which brings me to say their lunch price is such a great deal IMO!! Dinner is always a better choice because of having more food options, but the lunch menu is still sufficient to me! I just wish service was better in the “grill change and urgency” aspects. Other than those two factors, Gen is a really good kbbq to enjoy food, drinks, and atmosphere

Dinner is $28+ all you can eat. Drinks are separate. There's a $5 left over food charge. But honestly, it's so good you won't want to leave anything behind.

The first time, the food and experience were a good time. It took the group a few meat selections until we found our favorites, which were beef Bulgogi, pork belly, and short ribs.
They have a waiter that keeps the grill changed regularly, so it is not so charred. There is no fried rice option, steamed rice, and three sauces to add additional flavor. It's definitely an experience to have again and again.

We wanted Korean BBq and found an all you can eat for $30/person. You do have to order in 4's so please bring a friend or 2 to get your moneys worth. Service is frequent and respectable with a zen atmosphere.
Great experience with delicious food! People are nice, and atmosphere is good. All meat was very good. Great place to experience new way of dinning. Cook your own meal the way you want it.

The price is very expensive, you can’t be sat down unless half of your party has arrived, which I find weird? I do like that it’s extremely cold inside, they change the burners pretty often and prevents the food from getting burnt. The meats they use look very nice and marbled. After a while, they stop coming to your table to see if you want any other meats. They’ll take at least 15 minutes to go back and check on how you’re doing. I don’t like all the small kimchi plates they provide, I personally think it’s a waste to give them out to everyone. I went with 5 other people, and only 1 or 2 of us actually ate it. The side of rice they give us is really mushy and cold, I don’t know how anyone could eat that. One last thing, who eats salad at a Korean bbq? The only thing that bothered me, is that once again after a while they stop checking up on you and they limit how many plates they bring you. If I’m paying $30+ on a meal and have a party of 6 why am I being limited on how much I can eat? I’m a broke college student so when I’m going to have a feast, I want to have a good feast.
Nice, americanized Korean BBQ place. The meat is seasoned well. Smoked pork belly was good, my bf said pork riblets were good. Bacon was alright. Got fried calamari, but it was just very fried for me.
Service was a little lacking. We had a party of 4 and one pair of tongs. We kept trying to ask for another pair, but it took a long time to get it
Wow! This was an experience I wouldn't be forgetting any time soon. I loved every second of it! There was a long wait time, but I feel like that prepared to for the fun you are going to have once you get your seats. Amazing🎶
