My favorite is Peking Duck who's is a very unusual dish and not readily available in other Chinese restaurants. They cook it well with 5 stars for me. They do Cantonese food here... and very well too. Worth coming to.
We discovered Hong Kong Royal Restaurant a few months ago and it is our favorite Chinese restaurant. Food has always been excellent. This is very close to the food I that I had in Hong Kong. If you want dim sum make sure to go on a night when they serve from the carts. Service also has always been great.

Good dimsum. Served using small pushcarts. Hakao (Shrimp Dumpling) and Sharksfin dumpling were so-so but the other varieties were good. I suggest to get the tendon, shrimp ball, shrimp chong fan (shrimp wrapped in rice noodle), Ham Soi Kok (Shrimp / Pork Pie), Shrimp and chives dumpling. Also suggest to try out the jellyfish salad and the BBQ pork
Have been looking for a quality Dim Sum restaurant. I found it. The staff was friendly and offered questions and answers to guide my selections. The menu is extensive with a wide variety of textures, tastes and sights. I tried the sticky rice (baked in lotus leaves) shrimp dumpling, shrimp and spinach dumpling, All had unique tastes, textures and subtleties of flavor. I dined alone vut with a group this would indeed be a great evening. I cant wait to come again and try the many choices still untasted.
Awesome Chinese. So I don't really write reviews but I had to tip my hat to Hong Kong Royal. Great food and atmosphere... Enjoyed the dim sum too.. I would say to the negative reviews..they were probably mad because it wasn't a buffet.. nothing but true authentic Chinese food here... we would definitely recommend this restaurant
I really liked it. The pork and duck was excellent as were all the dim sum. The staff was really friendly and helpful. Service was really fast.

Excellent. We go here any chance we get. We know authentic Chinese food from living in China, and theirs is fantastic. They have unique dishes that are hard to find in the US, dim sum in the eves, and are friendly too.
My favorite chinese restaurant. The food at Hong Kong Royal is really good and authentic and totally takes me back to a trip I made to Hong Kong years ago and makes me nostaligic for the great dim sum places on Nathan Road in Kowloon.
All of their dim sum dumplings are really good and they would be my recommendation on what to order.

Just finished my dinner. Great food, atmosphere, and service. I don't usually eat sweet & sour, but I almost ate half of my wife's chicken. Definitely will come back and recommend to others.
The Real Deal. Having lived in Taiwan and visited Hong Kong, I can honestly say that this is the "Real Deal" if you want authentic Dim Sum. I lve in Bedford so this was a long drive but well worth it. If you like Dim Sum this is this is the place to go in DFW. Make sure to get the shrimp toast and any of the many dumplings available.
Great dim sum and chinese food. This is now our favorite Chinese restaurant in the Dallas area. Clean and nice but with a local and authentic feel. They are known for their dim sum and their shrimp and spinach dim sum balls.

This place is Awesome!!!!! I very highly recommend it! It was my first time trying this place & it met my expectations. Great food, good service, & very clean.
Must try the dim sum. Although I have ordered a number of entrees off the menu which have all been great, the dim sum is a can't miss. From shrimp toast to dumplings, we've never had a pick we didn't like. The service is very attentive and the prices are great.

Great Authentic Chinese Food!. I highly recommend this place. They have been In business for many years (previously known as Lucky House) they have just moved to this new location. The owner said she will stay open late sometime soon ( her previous location stayed open until 2 am!) They serve Dim Sum all day unlike other Dim Sum place that stop serving around 3 pm.
Their food are fresh and tastes really good, we've been a regular for many years. Besides other's dish recommendation, try the Spare Ribs with black bean sauce (5-stars!), Barbeque Pork Bun ( my favorite), Steamed Shrimp Dumplings ( Ha-Gow), and Steamed Pork Dumplings ( Shu-mai). Feel free to try everything on the menu, they all are good. The Dim Sum menu has pictures of everything offered, so it is pretty easy to order and try new things that looks good to you. Not many people knows about this new location, so it is not busy yet, so I encourage everyone to try this place out, so they can stay in business, it is one of my favorite restaurants!
Dim Sum Anytime!. This place is great - it's so nice to be able to eat dim sum at any time of day or night. It used to be located in Plano, but since they have moved it is so much closer to where we live, and they have upgraded the inside also from the previous location. If you are new to dim sum try the shrimp dumplings, or taro (fried), pork dumpling, shrimp balls, and yes definitely the shrimp with spinach. We have been to this restaurant a number of times already, and we will keep coming back. Also have regular chinese food on the menu, but I have never tried it.
Great food! Yumcha at odd hours but it did not deter the quality of the food served!

My husband and I were delighted to find this genuine Chinese cuisine. The dim sum (pork fen rolls, pickled jelly fish, roast duck, sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves and egg custards) were perfectly delicious. We dined at numerous Asian restaurants from New York to California and this was truly the first time that the egg custards were served with delicate, crispy crusts! Thank you very much!
I have been searching for a dim sum place since I moved to the area almost 3 years ago. This whole time this place was right down the road from work. I had a co-worker bring me here for lunch and that was when I discovered they had dim sum. I hit them up for lunch at least once every week now. Even if you don't like dim sum, the lunch menu is delicious and very affordable. I have all my co-workers addicted to this place now as well.

Very large menu selection and variety. But almost too large as several items are not actually avaialble, and with a menu this long some items are bound to be not as good or fresh. That said, they always offer dim sum, and their BBQ duck is delicious. Still overall a place I frequent, especially in this part of town.
Very traditional Hong Kong/southern Chinese style cuisine with a great dim sum menu. My personal favorites are the salt and pepper pork chop/salt and pepper chicken and Lotus leaf sticky rice. Amazing people running outstanding business. Friendly staff.
