We love Casa Garcia! My son’s birthday was this past week. He wanted to spend his 20th birthday at Casa Garcia. Lalo and Jose made it a fun and festive occasion. We have always had delicious food on their Taco Tuesdays and Fajita Thursdays and have had the absolute best service around.
My children and I just moved here and were excited to find such amazing Mexican food, just up the road. Enjoyed it thoroughly. It was almost closing so chips a bit stale, but everything else was so fresh and delicious. We'll be regulars!!!

I gave them 5 stars, above and beyond, as always! We don't get up this way often, it has been 8 years since the last time we came here, and I don't know if it was just nostalgia but, they were on it this evening! Highly recommend Taco Tuesday! It’s a deal you can’t beat. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the staff does sometimes get orders confused, but for $1 tacos, you can’t really complain! The food is good and the portions are generous with self-serve toppings of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream. The owner, Jessy, is always there hustling. We are happy to support this wonderful local establishment!
So I have to start by saying the food was 10/10. We had the XXL ACSP with veggies and the enchiladas supreme and it was truly worth the wait. Salsa was great too. The down side - the wait. Sunday rush came QUICK after 12 and the hostess was less than helpful. The one single waiter however was busting his tail and once he took our order, the food came quick. He was very pleasant considering how worn out he must have been.
My suggestion: get a 2 sided card system on a holder like Bar Taco for each table. One color to place an order and one color for other service since that’s all the hostess helps with. Put the card down when you’re all set, I bet this will drastically help unscramble the staff. 👍🏻👍🏻
The place is simply great. I like the atmosphere and I like the food too. Lots of choices and service is good too..
Simply the best Mexican food we've ever had. We bought takeout, the host (I think his name was Jesse) had a great attitude. Food was prepared quickly, good price, and was phenomenal.
We've dined here a few times and we have never been disappointed. The food is always amazing and the service is always great!

Casa Garcia is a solid choice for Mexican food in Carthage. It's not the best food you've ever tasted, but their selections are good and the prices are relatively cheap compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area.
