The atmosphere was nice but the food was only okay. Our waitress Teeyana was extremely nice and doing a wonderful job. It was clearly understaffed but everyone there was very kind.
Walking in we were nervous having never been to this establishment. We were greeted by a friendly face and promptly approached by the manager. He strikes up conversation and we quickly learn our home state is a commonality. We were quickly seated and our server immediately attended to us and was engaging with the whole table. He brought warm and fresh bread and made small conversation. He quickly took our order and our drinks were never empty. The food was delicious and the overall service was excellent. Marty and Elijah definitely made our first time at O’Charley’s a great experience. We will definitely come and visit again!
O'Charley's was the suggestion of my cousin who lives nearby. My first visit to Raleigh area on business and visit my cousin. O'Charley's is a great choice! Server seated us in a corner so we could eat and have an extended talk. Food was delicious and service was very good.
Our server was prompt and took good care of us over an extended time-- never tried to rush us.
Menu was varied with excellent seafood choices. I had a seafood Combo while my cousin had a crispy Teriyaki Chicken salad. Service was on large heavy plates with solid flatware and large coffee cups and glasses. Bar service available. Interior is a casual club atmosphere with comfortable seating and chairs.
It is located next to the area's medical center and handles a heavy lunch crowd, though the day we were there there was a bad storm and not many were out.
Definitely a repeat for me the next time I am in Raleigh on business!

Great staff, good food, but wait! There’s more!
I’ve been to a few O’Charley’s across a few states, so I’m familiar with the ambience and atmosphere. Let me tell you, I didn’t not expect this one in Cary to be the worst for atmosphere! And I live around Detroit!
Let me preface with, the food was great. Grabbed a steak, ribs and a couple sides and the steak was cooked perfectly, med rare and the ribs were great like always. The service was great also; My bartender was at tentative, and up for conversation on a slow night as expected. No complaints! Won’t mention names for privacy.
But ****, the bathroom smelled like the sewage pipe had erupted for quite some time without some attention. And trust me, I know first hand what that smells like. I wouldn’t blame the staff for not cleaning because I didn’t like to use it as a customer! For a chain, you’d think the owners would care! And oddly, for how nice the city of Cary is, I would expect these other customers to be at an Applebees in a section 8 neighborhood! Small details, but good place overall!
Came here for lunch one day with my boyfriend and they did not disappoint! First time coming to an O’Charley’s location in years, and I will be coming back. Our waitress was outstanding in every way, I can’t say enough good things about the service here! The food came out quickly and was delicious as well! It wasn’t busy at all when we visited, which was so nice because we wanted a quieter place to have lunch. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for great food and great service!
