It was not overdressed! Ribs done well and fall off the bone, heavy crust that I like. Friendly staff, good service. Made this Yankee happy but I have Tennessee roots.
Twice my wife and I have been here to eat. We live 50+ miles away so stop when we are in town. A great place to stop for food anytime they are open. The views are great as it's in a state park. Bluegrass music is also played here at times. I would definitely keep stopping by when we are in town. A t

Good but not great bbq. Two sauces, the hot one is worth asking for... Ribs nice, not smokey enough. The great was the bluegrass live music on the corner. Great fun. Great service.
I was up near Cove Lake showing property yesterday. Decided to Google near by restaurants. A BBQ place pooped up. You know how BBQ places can be so so good and real good. This place is real good Pulled up and they had the same sign that I have in my front yard. They go to Cokesbury church too.

Dads onion rings 5/5 chicken 6/5 according to him. The quesadilla was a 5 as well. But my brisket was literally the worst I've ever had. So I can't really give a great review. 50/50 on returning. Staff was good though. View is nice.
