I’m from Pennsylvania and went here to kill some time. There food looked great and they had it out to me in less than 10 minutes. Their wait staff was very courteous and prompt and the price is good especially considering for the quality of the meal.
We come here almost every Sunday after church and enjoy a great breakfast. They offer a good variety of food and the service is very good. It's an older building but they keep the place clean. French toast and waffles are delicious.
Nice location beside the motel 6. I had the steak fajitas which came with chips and salsa. The salsa had the perfect spiciness but was way too watery. Inflation has been rough on everyone including this restaurant, the prices were no different from one you’d find in a larger city. But portions and quality/taste were good. Aesthetically pleasing and the taste to back it, but for the price, watery salsa, and experience- I can’t quite give it 5 stars so 4 will suffice.

It's a lot like Dennys style eating. You can get breakfast all of the time. Plenty of seating. A rustic atmosphere right off if i10. An open parking layout really. If you and your family are hungry on your trip to Phoenix or Tucson depending on your direction of travel, this will definitely get the job done. Happy eating. +C+
This place is absolutely amazing. Me and my grandpa have been coming to this restaurant since I was like 5 and they have never failed to amaze me with their service, food, and how friendly all the staff are. Even under pressure (like today when they were short staffed) the lady there did an amazing job getting everyone's food and order taken care of in record time. Also gotta hand it to the cooks they were dishing out amazing food even when everyone was impatient. I've always had a good time and nothing but good things to say about it. Overall an amazing restaurant. It does share a parking lot with motel six so even more parking.
It was very busy when we went, perhaps because the Iron Skillet, just across the freeway on Sunland Gin Rd, is closed for renovation. A restaurant being busy makes for less prompt service, and not so good atmosphere, with too much noise.
Excellent food, home style mom and pop cafe. Large portions, very reasonable prices. They also serve liquor but it does not have a bar feel. We enjoy coming here.

If you're looking for a solid diner with classic breakfast options, this place is excellent. Definitely going to be our new breakfast stop whenever we head south out of Phoenix.
Took a couple of new friends and said order anyting I got the steak and eggs... Next time I'll be more particular about the way I would like my steak.. medium-rare comes as medium..fyi. simple$$$
Stopped here on the way to Texas and on the way home the food was good and the place was clean with friendly staff.
I would recommend and the motel 6 next door was cheap and decent place to stay or park your truck.
Worth every dollar! My bf and I went to the taco stand but it didn't look good. Then went to the Mexican restaurant next to it called Beto's but it was way overpriced! Almost $4 for a taco at Beto's! Outrageous! Golden 9 was our next visit and we were actually sold on eating here because of the variety of dishes and the great customer service. The food was delicious! And the portions are huge and worth your money!
Great food. Great taste. OK prices for the location. Very nice customers. The service was not good, but not bad either. I expected a little better service. Maybe I asked for too much. Lol.. Great homemade bread rolls. Too much food, I had lunch and had leftover for dinner. Thank you guys. I hope to come back for the Friday BBQ.
Food was very good, ice cream made it even better! Sr. Meals are a good value. Enjoyed the dinner very much!
