Been here many times and always had a good experience. I've tried lots of different items and they have all been delicious. Definitely recommend the spicy squid lunch L13! Waitresses are friendly and efficient. This is my favorite restaurant in Castro Valley!

The lunch special is very good at a very good price. My girlfriend and I devoured it. This picture shows the spicy pork, and we decided the opinion of having the black rice. The spicy pork was enjoyable and the rice was perfect.
Great little restaurant! The staff is really nice! A great variety of complimentary side dishes, probably one of my favorites. This is why I come back. Favorite dish: mushroom tofu soup. Spicy.
This is easily my favorite lunch/brunch/dinner spot in Castro valley. It has a really lovely warm atmosphere and the staff is always nothing but friendly. The food is comforting and delicious, consistently. I highly recommend the Dolsot Bibimbap.
The food was very good with plenty of variety. The waitresses barely spoke English (or chose not to). They were also a bit short and pushy sometimes, but this may add to the atmosphere depending on your point of view.
Tofu House took me by surprise. The atmosphere is welcoming. The service is ok, but if you every need anything just push the button on your table otherwise you may never see your server lol. The star of the show here for me is their Tofu soup or soondubu. This is one of my favorite soups and they really do it right here. It can be spicy so watch out, although I tend to appreciate that they actually make it that way.
