Needed a place to grab food in between funeral viewings for my Grandma. Went to Jennings with a 12 top and The staff quickly accommodated us. Service was amazing and the menu selection was fantastic. The food was delicious and all orders came out fast and correct. Thank you Steve and your staff for a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back!!! Highly recommend!!!

I have eaten at Jennings several time since it came under new management and it is always a treat. Was in last night with a group and we all had wonderful meals and our waitress touted the new desserts they added to the menu, so we tried the Key Lime Pie, the Baked Banana, and the Creme Brulee. They were all absolutely wonderful but my favorite was the Creme Brulee it was maybe the best one I've ever had. So next time you're in save room for dessert.

Great food, warm , friendly, and casual atmosphere, reasonably priced. Recommend cucumber salad as a side, cream of crab soup, any of the burgers, & if you like liver & onions, it is excellent! For dessert, their coconut cake is to absolutely die for (I have recommended this cake to non coconut lovers including myself, & it will change your distaste for this dessert!) I live in pikesville where we have a similar type restaurant/bar/tavern (Also starts with a J..,) and Jennings is definitely worth the schlep to Frederick Rd in Catonsville, much cleaner too!

My husband and I visited Jennings cafe on Saturday evening for the first time by a request from a friend. We will definitely go back. It was the perfect place for a great dinner and warm atmosphere. Our waitress, Grace, took wonderful care of us from appetizers to drink refills. The owner even stopped by to say Hi and ask if we needed anything. My husband ordered the chicken pot pie and he said that it was the best he has ever had. Hats off to Jennings!!!

Never disappoints. Amazing shrimp salad, Baltimore's best crab soup.and the homemade coconut cake for dessert. The icing on the cake, Baltimore's best waitress Peggy! I love this place. Always awesome!

Last night I had a great experience at Jennings. My friends and I ordered from the specials board. A delicious tender rib eye with mushroom aujus accompanied with mashers and asparagus. Steak was cooked to perfection, tender and cooked to perfection! We also ordered a stuffed chicken breast. Stuffed with goat cheese asparagus and sundried tomatoes topped with sherry cream sauce over rice. We also enjoyed some perfect cocktails served by a great bartender named Tommy! Just a top notch experience!

Great neighborhood place with excellent food and service. So many goo things on the menu, so it's always hard to choose. Kid friendly, and our kids often request going there because the burgers are so good! Been many times and can't wait to go back!

Had a party of 10 there last night for an early dinner. Great service! Food was superb. Really good menu with a good variety of choices. Peggy, our waitress was phenomenal and a true delight. We were first timers but will definitely be back!

Funny the reviews on here. Most are positive and great. The negative ones are from old customers or employees, or their boyfriends, lol. It’s like a smear campaign. Negative comments start with ,” use to go all the time... since new ownership...yadda yadda negative smear.” There are going to be growing pains and people don’t like change. But to stay relevant and successful in life and business, one needs to change. Just be happy it’s still there, he could’ve leveled it and put up something totally new and different and still be successful.

Hot turkey was delicious, beer was cold and the new owner is a nice fella. Go there.

Cute, quaint, very homelike feel! The chicken salad sandwich was aaaaaaamazing!!! And they have angry orchard on draft!! The server was a young lady and she matched out charm and wit. Food came out super fast and the time spent there was really nice!

The food tastes delicious, and the service is good. The only recommendation is to wait until your guest leave to vacuum the area they are eating in. We were eating while there was vacuuming going on right next to us. Other than that, everything was good, and we would go back.

Update: service has been disappointing each time we've come back during their typical hours. Kitchen isn't horribly slow, it's just that the servers are inattentive. Food is still good, though. Our second time dining at Jennings and we're still very impressed with the food and especially the service. This time we walked down after visiting the Farmers Market and finding there was a 45 minute wait to get a table at State Fare (which is a bit overrated, overpriced and understaffed in my opinion). Jennings will be our first choice from here on out. Fried chicken platter with fries, Cobb salad and French onion soup were great, but the real standout was the service. EVERYONE was so friendly and attentive and my cup was never empty.

Great local hangout. This longstanding, family-owned bar-and-grill has great staff and great food. My favorite: Rockfish tenders and buffalo shrimp. Here you are always greeted with a friendly smile and a welcoming environment. Come with family, come with friends, or come alone. It's always a great experience. Love this place!

The fried chicken was as good as others said. I especially appreciated that the pieces were modest in size so the proportions were just right. My friend got the fried jumbo shrimp which were coated with the same seasoned breading as the chicken which was delicious too. Sports bar atmosphere. Expect large and noisy crowds during peak times.

A staple in this Maryland city...and the ambiance and food do not disappoint. This isn't a fancy place, but you immediately feel comfortable and at home. The menu is standard fare with burgers, sandwiches and a mean Philly steak. Friendly people, pub-like atmosphere. Solid choice.

Love the bartenders. Rachel is so sweet and always remembers my drink. Very clean facility. Every time I go someone is vacuuming (probably a coincidence 😂). Mozzarella sticks are to die for.

The service was excellent our waitress was Rachel. She was very friendly helpful and courteous. The food was hot and very good I would recommend this place for lunch dinner or just to go and have a drink at the bar.
