The food was great as well as the service. I recommend the carne asada tacos. Portion sizes are perfect and you might even get to enjoy some leftovers.
Service was efficient and friendly. Food was incredibly authentic tasting - rivals both El Salto and Mi Pueblo in Glen Burnie... I don't usually mess with chimichangas, but here it's ridiculously good. Fajitas were on point and wifey LOVED the margarita...

My family and I Had a Wonderful time on Father's Day. The food was delicious as always, the atmosphere was felt cozy and inviting. But service means everything. The waitress (I wish I remembered her name) was great! Although it got crowed, and our group was the largest there, she must us feel like she was there for us personally. The very young teenager who assisted her impressed me completely. His name is Sergio. He gave us fantastic service with a smile. He was definitely there to serve with excellence. Thank you Sergio and our other very pretty waitress. You gave my husband a wonderful Father's Day experience!

Great happy hour specials! One of the best peach margaritas I've had in awhile & I've had my share lol. I only had a 12oz and felt very relaxed!!! Our apps were good but the entrees looked great- looking forward to going back!

We tried enchiladas, tacos and tamales. Everything was lovely. Chicken was cooked to perfection packed a punch of flavour which is very important. I’ve probably tried a 100 places for tacos and this place ranks in the top 3.
Did I mention the chips and salsa were amazing? Freshly made too and so were the margaritas!

The Good:
We were seated immediately and the waitress was pleasant. My wife and I were immediately given delicious chips and salsa and asked what we wanted to drink. The atmosphere was nice. The waitress was attentive and efficient, and the food was delicious. The agave nachos, were honestly my favorite part.
The Bad:
Now, the reason why I did not give this place 5 stars is because the food was just warmish. It was weird. It kind of felt like the food was cooked and then just left out to cool for some reason. My wife complained of the same thing.
The Judgment:
Ultimately, I would definitely come back here. The food was delicious (though it needs to be served hot), the service was great, and the atmosphere was nice.

Second time here and I’m afraid this is going to become a habit 😁. This time I got the quesadilla which my daughter loved and 🌮 🌮. If I had to rank the 🌮 🌮 it would be barbacoa (perfect), chorizo, 7/10 then Al pastore 5/10 & (a bit chewy). The service at the bar was very good as was the drink I had while I was waiting for my order. El Agave is definitely a place worth frequenting👌
I got so much more than expected. On the outside this place looks like a general liquor store. But inside, it's nicely decorated, clean and has ample seating. The food and service are great. Servers are really polite. This is now a regular happy hour spot for me and the bestie
I had the best time here. Best drinks and awesome staff. The food was incredible! I ordered the Birria tacos and the consume provided was so delicious. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for great food and drinks for a reasonable price to come here!
A real 'neighborhood joint' kinda feel to this place but the food is surprisingly pretty good! This was my 2nd visit and it was on Taco Tuesday. The lunch special, street tacos (3) were very tasty, came with a side of beans and rice and the price was very reasonable.
UPDATE - We ha lunch there again today (5/19) and, as usual, the food and service were both great! I there was one complaint, it was about the iced tea. It was SO strong, we had to send it back and order water and soda! Otherwise, it's still a really nice place for an inexpensive but tasty Mexican meal.
