I called to place a phone order for 3 people to Centennial,my first time there, but my friend had been there and recommended their burnt ends. The girl didn’t seem knowledgeable at all. She wanted to charge $94 for a couple lbs of meat and 3 sides. I called back. Explained that my friend mentioned a $15 plate and asked if it was a good amount. She said that I would get 1/2 lb of meat. I ordered double for my husband and single for my friend and I. When we got the food home. I weighed 6 oz on ours and 8oz on my husband’s. The sides were bland to say the least. When I called to ask her about it, she claimed to be the manager, yet had no knowledge of what 1/2 lb even weighed. She said there was nothing she could do. I would have paid for extra meat, had I known, but she was rude and definitely not good with proper customer service. This amount of food was sad for paying $63.00 for 3 meals. I will not return and recommend to others AJ’s or Roaming Buffalo. At least their customer service and food quality are there.

I have eaten here dozens of times and it is AMAZING! Not just the food! The employees, the atmosphere and professionalism is truly consistent and quality. A true Colorado classic.

The burnt ends were incredible. I had cornbread and Mac n cheese, too. Staff was helpful with the menu, reasonably priced and the joint was clean! Great spot!

If you want cold food, this is the place. Brisket , sausage and turkey was cold and old. Probably from the day before. Definitely looked short on weight. Very disappointed on quality and not worth the money. 3rd time trying it. Never been satisfied. Very close to home but Won't be going back.

My wife and I have very much enjoyed the ribs, brisket, snd "burnt" ends we've taken out from Rolling Smoke BBQ, previously. (The only side we have found to be underwhelming is the cole slaw, which is seasoned to be not sweet, but savory, probably the preference whence the owners come. Some may like this; we do not.)
This afternoon, I ordered "The Whole Smoker". I will never make that mistake again. From the dismal assortment I encountered upon arriving home with it, one might surmise it is used to dump leftover odds and ends on unsuspecting customers. It consisted of a little bit of very good smoked turkey, a little bit of very good brisket, a few tasty "burnt" ends (most of which contained too much cartilage), a little pulled pork, and a lot of sausage. NOT worth $40+!
The only way to get their best quality and value is to order two meals/plates that allow you to specify the precise meats that you desire. That also costs about $40+, but the quality of what you receive is thereby assured, and, in our experience, very good. I would give our other experiences with this place 4 stars. They really screwed the pooch, this time, however; hence two stars

Relocated Texan in need of some decent BBQ and this place fit the bill pretty well. Burnt ends & brisket were great, and the green chile BBQ sauce is pretty amazing. I'd buy bottles of that stuff. Have been back since my first visit and would highly recommend.

Went today based on reviews of great food, friendly employees and plenty of gluten free options. Walked in, only one other table was occupied, both employees behind the counter looked at us, didn’t say a word and turned around. First time here so we sat down and finally someone brought menus and told us where to order. When ready we went up to the counter, I asked to woman what sides were gluten free she immediately seemed put out. When she told me the fries were I asked what type of oil they are cooked in, she threw up her hands, was very flustered and stomped sway saying “ I don’t know I have to ask the kitchen”. Incredibly rude! Many people have food allergies or sensitivities these days but would still like to eat out from time to time. If you don’t want anyone to ask those questions put up a sign that’s you won’t accommodate food allergies. I have a soy allergy as well that’s why I had to ask.
We went out of our way to go here so even with the rudeness we decided to give the food a try although customer service is the number one, very first impression for your customers. I got the brisket plate with baked beans. The meat was incredibly dry and the beans were so-so. The others with me were not impressed either. The sauce didn’t save the food. While eating, the same woman was yelling at the tv because the Oscars were on then slamming furniture around while cleaning. Even if the food was good, we would not return simply because of her. We ate what we could, quickly and left.

Definitely should've got extra burnt ends. Not because it's a small portion, but because they're delicious! The first bbq joint to remind me of home in quite some time! Everything we ordered was delicious, and we tried 5 different meats. Only place I'll go from now on!
