Review Heidi's Brooklyn Deli - Centennial

Nice place for pretty good deli food. Reasonably priced and they seem to get through orders pretty quickly. I had the Hell's Kitchen which was really tasty. The coleslaw has decent flavor and is served cold. Pickle comes with each sandwich.

I love, love, love, Heidi's for lunch. Their sandwiches are made with fresh bread and ingredients and taste awesome! My favorite sandwich is the Hells Kitchen. When you look at what it is you will think that it is crazy, but trust me on this, it is GREAT! I get it every time.

My service is not always great. I have gotten a punch card punched 5 times once because of the bad service. Even heard complaints of it being the owner's daughter who drops the ball. I come here often and today was different. I was helped by a gentleman named Chris who has, by far, given the best service I've ever had at this location. (And I come here A LOT). So thank you. Mostly to him for being such a rock star, but to you for having good taste in personalities. :)

I felt sick after eating here. I used to work at one of these and the conditions of the kitchens are always poor because they hire ex-cons and teenagers who dont care and just want a paycheck. Also prices are absurd for everything, you could buy a feast to make for an entire family instead of just one sandwich from Heidi's.

I'm not writing this review to be a jerk, I'm just hoping that the owner reads this and can make some changes to retain customers. It seemed like the staff wanted to do a good job, but just wasn't trained on how to do it. This is not a review of the food, but of a large "to-go" order process. Went in today and ordered a bunch of sandwiches, drinks, chips and brownies. It was not busy, I was the only person there the whole time.There were two girls working and they seemed to be on top of things. I told them what I wanted and while they were making the sandwiches I saw a sign on the meat case by the register that said something to the effect of "individually boxed lunches for your work party" or something like that. I asked the girl "Oh! Can I get those boxed up individually?" She looked at me like I was crazy. I referenced the sign and she says "Oh we haven't done that for like 5 years." I said "well then maybe you should take the sign down." They quickly make what looks like delicious sandwiches. I pay and ask for a box. "We don't have any." "Ok, do you have a bag for me to put all this stuff in?" (7 sandwiches, 7 bottled drinks, 7 bags of chips, and two brownies) She said "we are all out of bags, but I can help you to your car." I said "well, that's nice of you, but I have to get them out of the car someway." She finds an old grocery store bag under the register and I accept it. Grateful for their help in what I feel is a poorly run place, I walk out and drive to my client's office with lunch. I get to my client's office and begin to set out the food for people to choose their sandwiches and there are random un-wraped pickles in the bag, and the sandwiches look like they were wrapped by a 7 year old. With the sandwiches coming apart in the bag and pickles everywhere, I was super embarrassed to present this meal to my clients. I apologized, and they hopefully ate it after I left. I spent about $80 total. In summation, here are things that I feel need to change: 1. Take down signs for things you don't offer, or clue in the staff if you do offer them. 2. Teach your staff how to properly wrap a sandwich and wrap pickles separately. ESPECIALLY for a large to-go order. 3. Have bags or boxes on hand for large orders. I've eaten "in" here before and I remember it being a pleasant experience, but with poor tuna. Don't get the tuna. Everything else looked good.

An awesome delicious Breakfast burrito for 2.99, can't beat that! When you are three, grab a coffee at 303 next door...
