Last time I went to Chipotle next door I could smell the food coming from Gyro Delight and wished I had gone there instead. Well, yesterday I decided to pay them a visit (and I love Greek food anyway). I looked over the menu and wanted to buy everything. I kept myself reserved to the gyro and Greek salad, plus baklava. The portion sizes were huge and the food was delicious (was two meals). I could have gotten the salad as a side to the gyro as a platter, but I knew I was going to make multiple meals out of it. I sat down and enjoyed the Greek music on the radio as I watched them prepare other orders (I came at a rush with about 8 orders in front of me). It didn't bother me at all having to wait. They put time into the food, which meant it was done right. They grated the cheese by hand, which meant it was done with care and passion. This is place I know that if I visit enough, I'll be like family and they'd call me by name... it's THAT kind of place.
If you are worried about the wait time, order online (they have their full menu online) and pick it up there. Don't expect a "fast food" experience. That's not what they do... and they shouldn't have to!

I have been to almost all of the Greek/Mediterranean restaurants in the Dayton area, and after trying Gyro Delight tonight, I have found my favorite! The food was amazing, the portion sizes were huge, the restaurant was spotless, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Please go give them a try and ignore that Chipotle next door. We will be back!
Amazing food!! The chicken kabob was incredible and the flavor was out of this world!! It was made to order and is sure worth the little extra wait. The staff is super friendly as well. I am so glad we found a great restaurant in town.We will definitely be returning again and again!!
I had the chicken gyro with tzatziki sauce, the best authentic Greek gyro I've ever had, and I've had many over the years! Nice portion size also! Clean restaurant & friendly staff! Service was prompt.
Amazing fresh food .... I loved everything they have. I tried all there meals and I never had better greek food in dayton like this restaurant. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

The best gyro I have had, outside of Tarpon Springs Fla. It was fabulous, great portion sizes too!! We'll be going back!!
I got the falafel appetizer with tahini sauce, can't wait to come back to eat a gyro or falafel sandwich. The staff is friendly and welcoming and even offered me some samples of their sauces and gyro meat which tasted amazing. This is a pleasant stop before I head out to any appointments at nearby Miami Valley South, go here instead of eating at the hospital!
A place my friends and I eat at often, their food is super delicious and the people are super friendly. Definitely a recommended place to eat out at 👍🏽😊
Definitely one of my favorite go to places for lunch. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious. I was honored when Mo, the owner offered to cater the Open House Events benefitting The American Lung Association for Pristine Senior Living & Post Acute Care of Sugarcreek. Everyone loved the food. Thanks again! Your staff is amazing and always friendly. Such a clean presentation.

Wife and I tried out for first time last night. Food was excellent and portions large. We both got the Gyro supreme platter. We will be going again with kids. So glad we finally have a place like this close to us.

Went yesterday for lunch, it was my first time there.. Food was delicious and fresh.. large portions, big enough to share.. Customer service was extremely friendly and inviting.. Very clean.. A little pricey compared to other Gyro restaurants but well worth it. Had the Falafel and Gyro Supreme.. Outstanding..

Food was great. Had a gyro and Greek salad. Yummy. Very generous portions.
The downside was pricing. The gyro and salad were $15, and that did not include a drink. Pretty pricey for a place where you order at a counter, fill your own drinks, pick up your food when ready and clean up after yourself.
Outstanding food and service, it never disappoints. I eat here sometimes twice a week, that's how good it is. Pictured: small hummus, falafel pita and a chicken gyro supreme platter with side salad. Delicious, every bite!
WOW. What a delight indeed! The portions are huge and you will want to eat every last bite. The greek fries are my new obsession. The folks there are so nice and the menu is easy to navigate.

We loved it! I ordered the Gyro Supreme, the Greek Fries, and the 12 PC Falafel. I won't even hesitate to go back, and would happily get everything again! Next time I'll be sure to get the Baklava. It looked really good. The staff was also super friendly.
I tried this place with my family for lunch, it’s freaking awesome. The food 🥘 is so delicious 😋. If you visit this restaurant for the first time, I highly recommend the Triple Delight Platter. This plate contains gyro, chicken kabob, and beef kabob, so you will try three different types of meals topped with onion and tomato. Also, it serves with rice or French Fries, your choice. The restaurant provides kids meals and a variety of non alcoholic drinks and desserts. The over all prices are good $. So, mark this place as you next lunch or dinner destination 😋. Bon appetite
I tried this place for the second time and I was impressed again. I had lunch with my family and we had two different dishes, pictures attached. We had beef gyro 🥙 , and the taste was so delicious 😋.
