First time here. Staff was very friendly place was busy but they got us there quickly. Wings were very tender smoked perfectly seasoning had a nice spice to it that you don't find in most smoked foods. Dear burritos also excellent best I've had. Cracklins are okay very good but I still prefer Billy's. Have not tried to boot and balls yet but they look delicious. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend anyone in the area to stop in and try some of their stuff
Have a buddy who grew up in this area and when he visits he sends me photos of all the goodness.
So I gave him a list when he was there last time and when I need to get more I’ll drive the ten hours and load up for 4 months in the freezer.
I’ll post photos as I try each of the many items he got me.
1. Today was the shrimp pie, busting with flavor, great crust and an orgasm of flavor in the mouth.
We have bacon wrapped chicken thighs stuffed with jalapeños and cream cheese on deck for tomorrow for the smoker
Great, friendly staff and a great selection of game meats. They also have a hot bar and I encourage visitors to try everything at least once, you will not be disappointed!
Giant boudin balls and smoked wings both are awesome. Deer burritos are a must try. Cracklins I was disappointed in though
Man, they got everything here! Fresh Meats. dressings, prepared meals , boudin, cracklins, you name it. Its all good too!
