Good burritos, friendly staff. Building is in need of some updating, but that's no big deal. The chorizo was tasty and their home made hot sauce was good! I'll definitely be back if I'm in the area!
This is my favorite place to eat in the world. I've never had a better tasting burrito. I ate there regularly for 12 years, at least once a week for 5 of them until I moved away. I usually order the Super Burrito, Combination (Pork & Steak) with beans, cheese, sour cream, rice, and Regular Sauce. Light red/brown sauce is mild. The Red sauce is HOT. Green sauce also has excellent flavor. My parents always got chicken and my brother gets chorizo. Fresh avocado, tomato, lettuce, and onion are also available. The flavor here is impossible to duplicate.
Loved it back in college and still love it today! Best burritos around with simple yet tasty ingredients, and NO rice in them (as God intended). 😎
I’ve lived in Los Angeles, home of some of the best Mexican food this side of Mexico, for 20 years and I’m a foodie. No burrito I’ve ever had in the US compares to La Bamba. Ignacio, who works there, has been there for over 20 years, and he tells me the secret is not to change the quality ingredients or the recipe when it works. Try it, you’ll see.
I have never had made one complaint to this restaurant, they never disappoint.... I drove a hour for Perfection... love them and have for 30 years...
Oh Man!!! This is a hidden gem right here! Theses are "Real burritos"! Stopped thru late at night heading to my terminal. Stumbled upon LaBamba's. Let me tell you this you're definitely gonna love the taste & size. I would've showed the picture of my burrito but it's already gone!
The burritos are delicious and huge. I love the green sauce they have. Never disappointed
Very good food! I love a super steak burrito! Finally got my kid to try the chicken tacos and she realized she's a fan also. Also had the super nachos and they were very good as well! Good service and pretty quick!

I've been coming to this business ever since it moved to Champaign Illinois back in the 90s early at that still a popular customer I even know the owners and their food is amazing that's why they're called la Bamba's ..burritos as big as your head
