It's always nice to come across a new "mom & pop" restaurant, as opposed to a chain. La Casa Blanca is just such a delightful discovery! (New, in this case, being about 14 years, I believe.) The food was excellent, and some of the best Mexican I have had anywhere. The margaritas were perfect (you could actually tell there was tequila in them!) the service was great, and the atmosphere was conducive to casual conversation, without having to shout over too-loud music. We have definitely found our new favorite Mexican restaurant! Five stars, all the way!
Cute atmosphere, excellent service from hostess and waitress, the food was delicious, generous and reasonably priced & the margaritas were yummy but a tad on the expensive side for the size. We will definitely keep this as one of our go-to places!
Our favorite neighborhood restaurant! Beautiful patio, good food, good service and yummy bean dip with chips
Best Mexican food in area! Excellent service would recommend highly!
The best real Mexican food in Chandler, quite a hidden gem!
The service was superb. The food was scrumptious. A great time was had by all
Nice friendly place. Was my first time there and I enjoyed there breakfast migas.
Some of the best mexican food in town! Love it.
Great food and customer service - patio has wonderful atmosphere-
Had a great dinner here. The staff is friend and prompt. The food EXCELLENT!! Highly recommend this restaurant!!
I've been going here for years and years. The service is somewhat inconsistent but one thing is never different... The food is absolutely great! Love this place, it's our families favorite for sure! Recommend the pollo fundito, house tortilla soup, and the chips, salsa, and bean dip are hands down the best in the valley.
Fantastic waitress and great food.
Went here for a large family lunch. Food was outstanding and service equally great. Highly recommend!
Great food, good service, nice patio and atmosphere. Love the chips and salsa too.
Food is great....that salsa though! Some of the best salsa I've had in a restaurant.
The people who gave this place a negative review are CRAZY! My parents and I are visiting Chandler from Canada, and on our last night here we wanted to get some authentic Mexican food, and this place was right in our neighbourhood.
First, the ambiance: beautiful, well-kept white building in a Mexican style decor (but not cheesy!). Parking lot was behind the building, well lit, and concrete in great shape. We sat on the patio, which was well-shaded and very tidy. It only got prettier as the night went on, as they had strung the trees and canopy with little white lights. We arrived at about 5:45 pm, just at the end of Happy Hour, and the patio was already busy (a Friday evening). Other reviews I have seen said that the interior of the restaurant could get noisy, so I would recommend the patio if possible.
Second, the service: our server, Bree (sp?), was very smart and friendly, knew the menu very well and was able to answer all our questions and make suggestions. She brought our drinks within a few minutes and checked back frequently to make sure everything was ok.
Finally, the food: we all had lime margaritas, which were generously sized and delicious! Every table gets corn chips, salsa, and bean dip to start, which were fine. My mom and I had the Pollo Fundido (on Bree's recommendation), and my dad had the fajitas. The food arrived quickly, hot, and REALLY good. All our dishes came with refried beans and rice, which were better than most Mexican restaurants I've been to in Canada. The Pollo Fundido was quite rich, but the chicken inside was really nice and the cream cheese sauce had good flavour. We all thought the prices were reasonable for the size of portions you get.
Overall, if we find ourselves in this area of Arizona again, we will definitely return to La Casa Blanca! Great location, excellent service, and terrific food...what more can you ask for on vacation?
The restaurant that I enjoyed this evening was located on McQueen Road and Riggs Road, and it was named La Casa Blanca. Which in English translates to the white house; and in reality the building is painted white. The exterior decorations were Spanish themed and I loved it because it was unique. When I walked inside it made me think I was in a real, authentic Mexican restaurant in Puerto Rico, but I was in Chandler AZ! The floors were made of Mexican tile, and in fact the tables had the red, green and white tablecloths to match the Mexican flag.
When I first looked at the menu, I was astonished at the amount of choices they had to offer me. They had fish tacos, all the way to authentic Mexican tamales, which tasted wonderful. Also, the portions they have are on the larger side, so you can enjoy some of your meal the next day at lunch. For an appetizer, me and my family enjoyed the chips and salsa; the best I’ve tasted since I went to San Antonio, Texas.
I would highly recommend this Mexican themed Spanish restaurant to any of my friends because of the service and the quality of the food. My waiter, Lorena was extremely happy and always had a smile on her face. The food was fantastic and I am sure I will enjoy it more in the near future. Even though this restaurant is tucked away, I am curious why people don’t know about it! Anyway, I would recommend this restaurant to any, especially if you enjoy real authentic Mexican food.
No shoes. No shirt. No patio.. La Casa Blanca needs to get organized. And quick. Otherwise, this great little restaurant will be left off the lists of many who are looking for good Mexican food - all due to poor service.
On Saturday (3/24) we arrived at about 7 for what we thought would be a lovely dinner on their beautiful outdoor patio. Not the case - it was more of a holding pen for weary looking diners who had more than a 50 minute wait ahead of them. The dining room appeared to be over half full but not at capacity.
When asked if we could sit on the patio, we were told by the hostess that there were no servers for the patio (though, there was a party adjacent to the patio with a dedicated server). We had no interest in waiting an hour as an hour seemed dubious at best.
Food for thought - if it's a gorgeous weekend day, be prepared to have diners that want to sit on the patio and have enough staff to serve them. Then this place will garner all good marks.
I hope to give La Casa Blanca one more shot - but I worry that poor management will be this place's ultimate demise.
I loved it!! From the time we got there the service was excellent Best margaritas in this area. Will def go back.
Every summer i go to la casa Blanca and I've yet to find a more family friendly resturant with this quality food and for this price. My favorite meal is the tacos la carne asada I highly recomend it.
We have faithfully been coming to Casa Blanca for over two years and we love the food. It's also a very family friendly place. My complaint is that in the last six months we have noticed a significant drop in service and cleanliness. The wait staff often appears stressed and hurried. Food is still solid but presentation is getting sloppy. We hope things improve soon.
It is a good family owned restaurant. Fair prices and good basic Mexican food. Family atmosphere and convient take out.
Good Food & Fast Service. Love going in there for a quick bite to eat! I always seem to miss the crowed! Very delicious!
Serving authentic Mexican cuisine with hospitality, in a contemporary atmosphere. La Casa Blanca recently updated the menu but just about all of the favorites are still around. It’s a great place for a margarita and fine food choices, dining inside or outside.
We sat outside and it was magical and beautiful! The food was delicious and the staff was wonderful. I definitely recommend this place. We did not see the inside of the restaurant.
Found this place on our way back into town from Tucson. It's such a nice little place. Chile relleno was pretty good but the batter was so thick it got to be a bit much. Chicken and veggie burrito was ok. Pretty small for the price and chicken was pretty dry. Service was excellent though. Everyone we interacted with from the hostess to the bus boy were friendly and polite. Our server was awesome. She was super friendly and just attentive enough. I will give it another try based on the service alone.
We love this place!!! My sister had her baby's baptism dinner here so we decided to host our sons and daughters graduation dinner here as well. Food was AMAZING!!! Our server was SO WONDERFUL!!!! I can't remember her name, I'm so sorry! Also the owner was so sweet and assured us everything would go great! She was awesome!! The patio had misters, shade, plenty of space and we were able to decorate how we wanted! Thank you so much for everything, we will definitely be coming back to have more dinners here and just to eat your delicious food!😬♥️
The food was really good and the prices were reasonable. It was a pretty set up on a large patio. We would definitely go back. It was a nice experience
I have had some good luck the last two times I have been. The food is better than average and the service has been above par at the bar😁 Winter is cool because they have an outside patio area and when the winter people come it gets busy. I wish the bar area was bigger and served more people, but food and service are good. We recently went back in the winter and the ambience is nice. The fireplace outside is good and the kids enjoyed.
Always good food!!!...
Also ...one of the few Mexican restaurants around that have Jarritos!.. (Mexican flavored soda with real cane sugar)
YOOO THEY HAVE A BURGER. SO IF SOMEONE DOESN'T LIKE MEXICAN HAVE THEM CHOKE IT DOWN. (jk don't get the burger it's not that good, but everything else is!!) Their refried beans are heavenly. I grew up going here. The vibes and the food is amazing. 10/10 would recommend coming here. Best Mexican restaurant in Chandler
Cute place with welcoming atmosphere. And better selection of food than most TexMex restaurants here in the valley. Worth checking out(:
my girlfriend and I Loved the place, from the parking lot on, best cafe in the area. We're making it our special place.
First time and won't be the last. The enchilada sauce was wonderful! And omg the refried beans were the best I've had. Have patience as all restaurants have a staff shortage. It was worth the wait. Can't wait to come back for more enchiladas!
Our new fave!! Excellent service and the food was incredibly delicious!! We loved it!
Okay so I drove by this place for 3 years and I always thought oh that looks like it'd be a neat place to try but someone told me how it was a real swanky expensive place. I don't remember who said it but oh my gosh they couldn't be more wrong I mean it's a nice atmosphere The patio would be awesome in the weather's nice but the food was really incredible and the service probably was some of the best service I've had in the local area in a long while. My wife and I ate there and had drinks for a little under $30 and didn't mind tipping the lady a nice fat tip on top of that. Will definitely be back.
What a gem! Beautiful courtyard and restaurant! Great food and nice staff! We will be back and recommend highly!
We stopped in for a quick lunch and have a new favorite restaurant! Staff was attentive and courtesy. Our meals were great, the hot sause is fantastic. Another great meal and experience at La Casa Blanca!!
A go-to for authentic Mexican food!!
I went to la Casa Blanca with four adults and two kids. There was no wait. I think everyone liked their meals, and my fish tacos were good except that one of the two tortillas was stale and tough. I ended up just ripping half of it off. Hopefully that was a fluke. The waitress was pleasant and helpful when asked questions, and the ambiance was nice in a non-chain-restaurant kind of way. Some of the table shared a fried ice cream for dessert which looked delightful. I wasn't able to partake because it wasn't gluten free, but my kids loved it 😊.
Whether the craving hits at breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you can be sure to find something to satisfy it at Casa Blanca Restaurant.

We have been looking for a great family oriented Mexican restaurant in the Chandler area. This was great all the way around.
