This was our first time at Picante! Excellent and authentic Mexican food, we tried several items off the menu my entire table enjoyed their entries, I had the steak/shrimp fajita. The restaurant space is big and comfortable. Great drinks and the servers are very nice, top notch customer service everyone works hard and pitches in. The service is extremely quick, variety options on the menu, the drinks are great, tasty food and the prices are good. Don’t forget the yummy churros and honey for dessert. Highly recommend!

Delicious Mexican food & excellent service! We dropped in for lunch on a Friday, just after noon, and had the best enchiladas and carne asada I've had in a long time. The portions were so big, we each took half our meal home with us. The prices were very good. The service was friendly and prompt.

A Northern Virginia favorite! I ordered the white chicken enchilada, not too spicy but the accompanying green sauce adds a great kick. My family friend’s have been going here for years and told me it’s been open for 20+ years and this is there place for birthdays, and even catered my best friends wedding!

Great experience on Cinco De Mayo. The server we had outside was the best! Portions were huge, especially the $8 super burrito ! The mole enchiladas were delicious. Free chips and salsa for an app.

Picante was very pleasing! We were quickly seated and greeted by our very friendly waitress. Our food came out in a very short amount of time, tasting amazing. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very bright and vibrant, something I thought was a nice touch. When I get the chance, I’ll definitely be coming back to Picante to try more of their delicious Mexican food!

We tried this place for the first time tonight. Excellent service, strong drinks. Chips and salsa were fresh. Good vegetarian options. Shout out to Serafin who came out with both my to go box and the credit card after we left them at the table 😬 👏

The food was good. We had the fajitas, carnitas, and tortilla soup. All were good. Margaritas were not our favorite, but were still good. I would definitely recommend this place.

What a delight! Tasty, authentic food served just right. There are plenty of choices on the menu, whether you like it spicy or not. Inside it's colorful and clean. Lots of seating for even the biggest party of guests. Staff was friendly and professional

Best soft taco in a while. Meal started with chips a salsa. Both very fresh and good. Waitress attentive ordered the soft taco and chicken enchiladas (red. Told green spicy). Very good. Recommend giving Picante🌶 a try.

Nice place - we went there for a salsa class but we decided to have dinner first. Pomegranate margarita- ok but not my thing, I tried it out if curiosity. Tortilla soup was good, but lots of chicken and avocado in it, not much tortilla - again , different. Taco al pastor was really good, enchiladas with picadillo were just good 😁 We will come back to try some more, it’s a good replacement for the Anita’s restaurant in our area, where the quality of food went down.

It was yummy. I enjoyed the pork twice now and the steak fajita meat is also excellent. Great staff and friendly place. Got the dinner deal and it has soup that comes as a nice treat. Kids eat free Mondays is a win for my family. Cheese quesadilla and cheese n bean burritos for them.

I loved Picante! I grew up in Alexandria and was visiting the Udvar-Hazy from NYC, but I’d never gone to Picante before. My family and I were in search of lunch in the Chantilly area and Picante was highly recommended by a friend who used to work there. He told me to order the fajitas and he was not wrong. Good grief. We ordered a pound of mixed beef and chicken and we almost finished it. One of us is usually very disappointed by Tex-Mex restaurants in the DC area because they don’t taste anything like the food he grew up eating in Texas, and he was floored by how good Picante was. The salsa is the kind he eats whenever he’s back in TX and he almost never finds it on the East Coast. One of us ordered a quesadilla and was very pleased too. We will be back! Thank you, Guillermo!
