It has been many years since I visited this Famous Dave's BBQ. I decided to treat the hardworking employees at Foreign Auto Services across the street. I was looking up the Famous Dave's menu on their website to discover that there is an online order interface on their website. I decided to use it and was so impressed by it. It was so easy to use and very self-explanatory. I placed an order, cedar plank salmon for me and a family style meal for the employees at the auto shop. When I arrived at the restaurant, and I was so happy to see the reserved To Go parking spaces right by the entrance!!! Then after parking, I discovered the To Go entrance right before the main entrance to the restaurant. I walked in, and a waitress walked by. She acknowledge me right away and greeted me with a smile and told me that she will be right back. Shortly after, another nice waitress walked by and did the same thing. They both were carrying something. It was lunch time. Then when one of them came back, she was so nice. She knew who I was immediately and as she was getting my food, another young lady walked up and started helping. I told them to separate my food from the large meal because I'm taking mine to work to eat and when they heard that the large meal was for the auto shop, they started getting me paper plates, napkins, utensils, serving utensils, etc... I was so happy and impressed that they wanted to make sure everything I needed is provided. I am so impressed!! I will definitely come back, especially, for carry out!! I ate my salmon after getting to work and it was delicious. I loved the garlic mashed potato and the greens. I forgot how yummy their corn muffins are!! They are my favorite of all corn muffins I have eaten. The guys at the auto shop enjoyed their meal very much. Thank you!!!
Famous Dave’s is so famously good! My family of four got the large platter. It had a bit of everything on it and it sure was good. We still had lots left over once we finished eating. The prices may be a bit high, but for the taste and quality, it sure was worth it. I would recommend this to anyone who’s a big BBQ lover!
I would say nice and cozy atmosphere. The food was reasonably priced. I ordered the barbecue chicken sandwich. I really enjoyed that it was cooked well and seasoned just right.
Amazing barbecue! I ordered my meal as a catering order at work and was pleased with the meal, the burger and mashed potatoes were great! The only improvement I can think of is to line the entire bottom of the box with tin foil and not just a single sheet as the box got a little soggy in the bag.
For $70, you get a good amount of food. It carries pretty well. The online ordering has restrictions by not letting you make substitutions, which makes you call. Overall, good food for the price you pay. It makes a BBQ meal pretty easy.

Famous Dave's is always a good go-to for Bar-B-Que. I always enjoy the southern atomsphere with their hanging lights & blues music playing in the background. The staff are always friendly, courteous and the food is alyways great and cooked to perfection, tender & juicy.
I personally prefer Devil's Spit sauce but there are several to choose from at your table.
I don't think I ever had a bad meal here.
I got a little wild hair and ordered the share for 4 meal (pictured) that came with a full rack of St. Louis ribs, a whole chicken, 1/2lb of beef brisket & pulled pork, muffins, french fries, beans & coleslaw. Wow! Lucily I used the leftovers at friends house for lunch where we're putting in a new bathroom. The food heated well in foil at 225 for ~25 minutes, delicious. All that food for $65, plus drinks, not bad. Great family value!
I should mention the great staff there provided me everything I needed to take a whole bunch of food home for my rendezvous the next day. And 2 hungry men ate all of it, lol..
You simply can't go wrong at Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que in Chantilly, VA. I rarely give 5 stars but they really deserve it for the food, service & value.
I just love coming here the staff is very friendly makes you feel like you at home. Me and my wife been to other Famous Dave's around the area but by far the Famous Dave's in Chantilly is the best one i ever been to. To the people that reads this God bless you and have a great week☺☺☺lol

$70 will feed a party of 5 with left overa and the meat is tinder and delicious
