Ko Hyang House - Chantilly - Photo album

Just had the chance to visit this small establishment over in Chantilly after hearing about it on social media. I was quite satisfied, to say the least. While the menu is pretty short - largely focussing on a selection of soups with a few hearty options to share (soondae and jokbal) - what they do o
Everything we ordered was tasty and flavorful. The waiters were friendly, attentive and provided a great service. We are definitely going to return and try a different dish.
I'd sometimes crave 감자탕 gamjatang and sundae 순대 and I would make a trip to visit this place. The food is good - not just for the price or considering that it's not Korea, but genuinely good. Though I wish they would pay more attention to packing their takeout, since sometimes my containers come open
Do yourself a favor and just come eat here. There are a lot of new seolleongtang (ox bone soup) houses opening up, but Kohyang House is where you should go. For $15, they give you soups that are absolutely filled to the brim with meat. I ordered the 소머리국밥 (beef cheek stew) while my friend got the 설렁
Cute place! Kind of hidden tho! Food was good and portioned well, but not like overly amazing! Prices were affordable as well! Overall a 6/10 for me!
Ko Hyang Jip is one of those famous restaurants that you only get to know by word of mouth. Given that it's tucked away with a bunch of warehouses, one wouldn't even know that this is a popular restaurant among koreans. It's by far one of the best korean soup and soondae restaurant in the DMV area.
My favorite place to go eat Korean Stew! Very good Korean stew place in Chantilly area! (Soondae, sullungtang) If you have tried korean intestine stew in Korea and liked it, this place is a must!! Price is little bit on the expensive side - but i would say its worth it for sure
I have no idea how this place doesn’t have 500 5-star reviews. The food was AMAZING AND it came out so fast. We ordered bulgogi and the brisket soup. The bulgogi is the best I’ve ever had. The staff was all very friendly and helpful, too. We will absolutely be back.
They focus only on a select number of Korean dishes, and they've pretty much perfected each one that we've tried. The soups always come with an abundant amount of meat. Customer service is also great - genuinely confused about the reviews that say otherwise.
If the food served here is how it should taste in South Korea, I am absolutely jealous and enamored. Ko Hyang is immediately on my 'death row' meal list of places to eat. It's just the quality and freshness of absolute Korean classics that makes all haute, modern, or Michelin ratings rediculously
One of the top authentic Korean restaurant in DMV! Would recommend to anyone who wants to try Korean food. Pictures are after we started eating. Had to put aside meat from soup bowl just to eat.
A very solid K-restaurant. We have been eating here as long as I can remember. Soondae, jokbal, kimchi and most soup dishes are good. The restaurant hours has been reduced since the pandemic. Take out portions are good; we get 2 meals out of each take out order.
Flavorful, delicious, get portions, service, very authentic.
So good! The soondae is extremely succulent and moist, and the meat portioning in the soups and jok bal are generous. Everything was flavorful and fresh.
The food was delicious and the delicious side dishes. Yummy soul food. I usually eat bone cabbage soup. Perfect amount of spiciness and full of flavor. Kimchi and radish kimchi were delicious.
Good amount of meat for Pork Neck bone soup!
Ko Hyang is a Korean culinary gem! Their gamjatang is unrivaled – a true masterpiece that tantalizes the taste buds. The broth's impeccable blend of rich flavors and subtle spiciness complements the tender pork, potatoes exquisitely. Ko Hyang's commitment to authenticity shines through in each dish,
I dare say this is one of the best and most underrated restaurants in VA. Super simple menu with delicious homecooked meals. They make my favorite soondae, their sullungtang is healing to the Korean bones of my body and everything is so consistent. Gamjatang is also really good. The guy who works th
