Best cafe downtown if you are looking for: good coffee, ambient courtyard, a friendly staff, craft beer, art, a place to study or a place to relax and talk. Been coming here for years and I always feel at home.

Best place for breakfast in Charleston. Just as good during the rest of the day for a coffee or beer!

It could have been one of the best Almond Croissants I have ever had! I also loved the coffee and the atmosphere. So happy that Charleston has this little gem and I will be back whenever I am in town. If you are a dog lover- you will usually spot a few in the courtyard since they are dog friendly and have water outside for them.

A wonderful place to enjoy reading in the outdoor courtyard while enjoying a fabulous cup of coffee! I love Kudu and wish we had a coffee/craft beer establishment like this in Aiken, SC!!

If in Charleston you need to go here. Great beer and coffee. Family friendly with awesome service, and the owner is not shy about having a conversation with you.

Don't let the craft beer detour you from coming for coffee and breakfast pastries. Everything was awesome. The coffee was awesome . Nice friendly people 8-)

Great coffee and drinks. Nice selection of caffinates items as well as other drinks. There is seating inside but they have a really nice outdoor patio, that is where you should be sitting. Enjoy your beverage, listen to the sound of running water from the fountain and relax.

I love this coffee shop! Their lattes are really good (a bit pricey, but so are most coffee shops nowadays). Their quiche is delicious and only $5/slice, and they have delicious croissants and scones, $4 mimosas every day, 20 beers on tap, and a beautiful courtyard to sit in. Note that they don't have WiFi. Would 100% recommend!

Solid coffee shop with a lovely outdoor courtyard. Their coffee is delicious and they also have a pretty large baked goods selection ("pop-tarts", muffins, bagels, etc). They also offer day-olds at the counter which are still very delicious. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the cafe is kept very clean. I'd gladly come here again if in the area.

Very nice local coffee shop...I always enjoy my time spent there with coffee and food. Everything is reasonable price-wise and the atmosphere is friendly and chill. Definitely recommended as a place to go.

Went to this awesome coffee shop three times during our most recent Charleston visit! Open late hours for a coffee shop (7 pm) and has the cutest courtyard outside with a fountain and plenty of seating. Their latte is absolutely perfect-- dirty Chai is phenomenal! Friendly and efficient staff and very clean place. More than fair prices for being right in the historic district too. Couldn't ask for more! We will be back. ☕

I always enjoy coming to Kudu. Their bagels are delicious, however, I am very partial to their bacon and cheddar biscuits! They are the right amount of crumbly and it blends so well together. The atmosphere is very nice to read, do work, or just enjoy. I never usually utilize their outside space but it is nice to have as an option! It's also never terribly loud inside, even when it is busy. For coffee, I highly recommend their cappuccinos. I have had cappuccinos all over Charleston and Kudu continues to make my favorite one. The employees are all very nice and friendly and engage in conversation from time to time which I find as a wonderful personal touch. Will always come back!

Stopped by in the mornings for breakfast. They have some good coffee. If it’s not sweet enough, the vanilla syrup is on the table with everything else at the back. Used it and it helped a lot. Their pop tarts are awesome. I like the look and feel of the place as well. It’sIs welcoming.

A gem in downtown. We stopped for mimosas and coffee. A friend of mine brought me here since this is her favorite spot. I loooove the patio! The staff was so friendly and nice. Quick service, great drinks!

Beer or coffee? You can have both!! Nice free house vibe right off King Street. Beautiful patio and comfortable indoor tables and small bar. Loved the Nitro.

Such a cute little place that has good coffee for not a bad price! My new favorite place to study and hangout outside (they have an outdoor area, also very cute with a fountain!). You will be very comfy here. Also, the dirty chai is good!
