I love this place! Valet parking + About a year ago my daughter and I got ice cream on King Street and there was nowhere to sit. Not wanting to rush my daughter and having finished my ice cream, we walked by Indaco's patio as a server was setting up. I asked her if we could come in so I could have a glass of wine while my little girl finished her ice cream and she couldn't have been more accommodating (the ice cream was messy). We have enjoyed meals here since and they never disappoint. Service is a big deal to us and they always deliver. I had leftover Brussels sprouts pizza for breakfast...delish!
An exceptional experience from start to finish. Wonderful seats at the Chef’s Table, giving a great view to an amazing working kitchen. The steak tartare is a must and the handmade, fresh pastas are pure bliss! Portions are generous and the freshness and presentation are exquisite. Even as busy as it was during Restaurant Week, our server was attentive and informative. I’m already planning my next dinner at Indaco when I’m back in Charleston!
Visiting Charleston from Atlanta, we decided to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday at Indaco. We enjoyed a spectacular meal by Executive Chef, Michael Holler & his team, that will be remembered for years to come. The flavors, textures, and presentation were executed flawlessly in every dish we tried (10 in all). Standouts for me were the Prosciutto di Parma & Burrata, absolutely exceptional. A close second would have to be the Black Spaghetti, so simple yet flavorful & perfectly al dente. As for my husband, he has not stopped raving about the Mussels Conserva & Tortellini. The salted caramel & hazelnut torte was a delicious way to end the meal. Lastly, we can't thank our server, Trevor, enough for his expertise and attentiveness. Indaco was definitely one of our culinary highlights of the year!
Best meal I've had in Charleston in a long time..... We went for restaurant week and we got three courses for $35 dollars. The food was excellent, the service was very quick and professional, and they were all so friendly. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for an awesome dining experience in Charleston!! Can't wait to go again
Only five stars because there are no more to give. Food is outstanding and service was Great. Highly recommend the Chef's Table best show in Charleston. The knowledge displayed by the server was great. Thanks Trevor

Fabulous meal at the Chef’s table. Our meals were delicious and our server was excellent! Thanks Bob! We ordered a Margarita pizza and the black spaghetti, we would definitely eat here again.
I really like this place. When I visit Charleston on business, it's my must eat here place. Staff are great, food is awesome. I've only ever sat at the bar. I need to bring my wife here, so she can enjoy this great place too.
Went for dinner with friends during restaurant week. Apps we shared the olive pizza (delicious), meatballs (out of this world) and the Cesar Kale salad - which was actually my favorite. Dinner we enjoyed the Lamb Osso Buco, Roasted Chicken (by far the best I've ever ordered) and the Parmesan Riccotta ravioli with Lima Bean Pesto (seriously insane). Dessert was less of a wow factor but no complaints. Service was fabulous, Wine was perfect. Cannot wait to go back.
Have the Aperol Spritz on draft, have the house red and ohhhhh don’t forget to have the bucatini!
One of the best Italian restaurants 🤌🏼
The pork chop was easily the best that I have ever tasted.
Oh and the Caesar Salad…. The biggest, never seen that big of a Caesar Salad at a restaurant before, and only $14!!!! And I’m not sure if it is homemade dressing but… it’s amazing!!!
Would recommend
We had visited Fort Sumter and wanted an easy dining experience. Indaco and its menu stood out and struck us as a refreshing place to eat. We were right, the menu featured great pizzas and main courses. The Lord's Pear spritz was light, citrusy and refreshing. We had a pizza, burger, pasta, and a brunch dish. All the the plates were expertly plated and presented well. My Tagliatelle's pasta was firm and perfectly cooked. It had the perfect amount of sauce and protein. Refreshing, flavor filled, and expertly presented, who could want more?
To put it simply, this was the best restaurant and experience we have ever experienced. The wait staff was amazing. We got to spend time at the bar prior to our reservations, which still continued the excellent service. We have been to many restaurants and several very high-end ones, and none of them compared in quality to Indaco. The food was fresh, tasted authentic, and came with a great price point for the quality of food/experience. I would recommend Indaco to anyone and everyone I know.
We were excited to finally get in here to eat and drink! Our spritz were delicious and refreshing. The pizza was the highlight for us we got a margarita and spicy sopressata. The pasta was fresh but found it lacked a bit of flavor. Overall it was a great experience
Good service, cozy atmosphere, delicious food from start to finish. Our server, Buffalo, was attentive and had good suggestions. The meatballs are top notch, as is the focaccia. Pizzas are large, and the butternut squash ravioli was incredible. Tiramisu was also large enough for two, and very good!
I love this place! You walk in and you smell what an Italian Restaurant in Italy smells like. Pizza in the wood oven, dough being tossed, oregano, parsley, buffalo, vino 🍷. Bellísimo!
I sat at the bar, made a friend, talked about the trials of being a dad, how to be better. I was at the proverbial kitchen table basking in a common sense conversation with a friend I’d never met.
Italian salad, pasta bolognese, molto vino, Chianti Classico, Super Tuscan and I’m gonna sleep well.
Service was perfect, bar tender spot on. If you’re in Charleston and Italian is on your list, Indaco is your wish!
Had dinner tonight and it was excellent. Alex was our server and did a great job. Our drinks were always full and empty plates were gone immediately. The food came out fast and was beyond delicious. If you are Charleston and want a great Italian dinner with an atmosphere that rocks, make reservations at Indaco, you will not be disappointed!
I’m tempted to keep this to myself but I think the tasting menu might be the best deal in town! For $100 we got two appetizers, a pizza, a pasta, a main and dessert and it was all so delicious!! Our cocktails were separate but very good, I would have ordered the indigo sour myself and I don’t even like bourbon. On top of all that our server took such good care of us, we were going to a show after and she kept an eye on our time and got our dessert to-go. We can’t wait to come back!!
A great stop for happy hour. We had delicious margherita pizza and split a Caesar salad, and I had a Negroni - all of which was at a discount. The bartender was attentive and offered to leave a menu if we wanted it. The other bartender went above and beyond by locating loyalty points that I had accumulated and she said I could use.
Pizza is really good. The tagliatelle was lackluster. I'm sure it was just that pasta dish, definitely willing to give their pasta selection another try.
The restaurant is beautiful and has top notch service.
Such a great experience at Indaco Charleston!! We are from Alabama visiting the city for our anniversary. The GM and our server, Rich, made our night so special. We received a special little gift for our two year and Rich brought a little champagne to toast. Not only was our experience a memorable one, the food was fabulous!! We would highly recommend Indaco.
Delicious and great service. Dinner with a large group of 10 and everyone's food and drinks were great and excellent service, can't wait to go back.
I had my birthday here— just a heads up for larger parties they would only do a family style for 50 a person!! The food however was GREAT and i left more than satisfied! When they brought our main course I was worried because I thought the main course was the appetizers! BEYOND stuffed by the time these got here. The server was also kind :)
Just make the reservation now! My friend and I had a lovely dinner here and we were lucky to be able to sneak in without a reservation around 9:30 on a Saturday night after working all day and hankering for some food! I love that they are open until 11 on friday and Saturday nights, that was a big help! The hostess was friendly and accommodated us quickly which was great! Our server Alex was an absolute gem, I highly recommend him and you should request him! This was our first time in and we got the Burratta (drool!) we were gifted a melon salad and my friend and I shared the Bolognese and Broccolini. We inhaled our food so fast in delight we were unable to comment on how much we were loving everything until the end! On Our walk back to our cars we commented the entire time how great everything tasted and how wonderful everything was! My only regrets are not taking photos of the beautiful and romantic interior designing with the lovely candles and books on the wall, and not saving room for desert! I will definitely be back!
Came to Indaco for the first time to celebrate a birthday and loved it! Wonderful food, service, and atmosphere. Cocktails were strong. They even brought a complimentary dessert for the birthday boy.
Had an amazing experience here! The server was very nice and constantly asked us how our meal was. The pizza was taking a little longer than expected due to them getting overwhelmed with orders but they gave us free meatballs to try while we waited. The meatballs were delicious and the pizza was ready shorty after! Definitely recommend stopping by!
Dinner here for the first time since they moved to this location. Nice location but if your driving you have to hunt to park. Industrial look with thick wood tables and exposed HVAC. Not a bad look but all the hard surfaces made the noise level pretty high. Service was good but our dinners were delayed and the manager showed up a couple of times to apologize. The restaurant was chuck full and the kitchen was, I think, a little overwhelmed. We had good company so waiting a bit didn’t really concern us. Food was very good and well presented. The only food complaint was that the fish was slightly overcooked but that’s a problem in almost every restaurant. Beer and wine lists were extensive and they had a full bar for cocktails. The menu was obviously Italian but there was something for everyone. Overall a good experience snd we rate Indaco, four clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale.
Rich is the best server that we have experienced in a very long time. He was professional, informative, helpful and so pleasant. He made our dining experience extraordinary!!! Listen to him about his recommendations. He was spot on!!
We ordered for the table and chef accommodated our dietary restrictions. Food was fresh and delicious. Service was very good and server was friendly. Ambience is nice. Good place to dine for a special occasion.
