The best burgers in Charleston! Tucked away in a quite neighborhood, this member of the Murray Bros. restaurants has a great environment and friendly service. The food is varied on the mwnu, but the burgers are the best. The bar is really cool too and a great place to watch a game. You have to work to find it, but it's so worth the effort.

Came over last month from England to stay with family in the neighbourhood and ate at Rutledge Cab Co a number of times, we tried many items on the menu, all of which were first class. The service was outstanding and all of the staff were helpful and polite on every occasion and couldn't do enough for us. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to come back to visit. Keep up the great work

Just live a little and get the Pupu platter. They provided Great service during an epic lunch rush where the parking lot was totally full. I would probably go every week if I could.

My 18 yr. old grandson and I had a delicious lunch there on the way home from visiting The Citadel. He ordered a Rueben, I ordered the House Smoked Pastrami, both on rye. The meats melted in our mouths, and the flavors were exceptional. We both highly recommend this restaurant. We will both be back to try other items on the menu.

This place has welcomed my kid and others from The Citadel. I appreciate that more than they know. The food and service are great. Sunday prime rib is not to be missed.

Great butter bean hummus and a very tasty burger if I do say so myself. The extra crispy shoestring fries were to idolize. Def worth the trip.

My apologies, but I forget my bartender’s name (from NYC). He was incredible. Very attentive, very welcoming as I was on business from out of state. I stopped in for a burger, some beer and a pour of Pappy. It was a great experience and I will be back next month when I’m back in town! Awesome place. Awesome Service! 👌🏼

This is a great restaurant! My husband loved his Reuben sandwich! Another in the party loved her salad! I ordered a hamburger medium well done, but it arrived quite burnt around all edges of the patty and a lot of the top and bottom of it as well too, more than well done. Another in the party ordered a hamburger medium, and it was definitely cooked to well done (zero pink inside and some signs of burning on one side of the patty. So my suggestion is to order burgers less well done than you prefer. The fries, and sweet potato fries, and chicken strips and kids noodles were enjoyed by all. Server was polite, though we did have to track her down for more water a few times. But I would return to this place and give it another try.

The turkey burger was fantastic! It was cooked perfectly. The tenders were moist and cooked perfectly, too. Very good breading. The French fries are also seasoned very well. I would love to come back during Happy Hour and try the veggie spring rolls. 😋

The atmosphere is cute and Jennifer was awesome. My roommate got the Cab Burger mac n cheese, and a bowl of French onion soup as well. I had chicken tenders and fries. Their menu is pretty interesting and has a lot of fantastic options. Personally, for me, the fries came out a little on the cooler side, as I'd they were sitting too long, and the tenders weren't as crispy as I felt they could be on the outside. However, the tenders internally were PERFECT!! My roommate said the Mac n cheese was the best he's ever had, and that bowl of French onion soup was gone before I could blink! It was a hit! The burger was awesome as well. I do believe we will be back in the future!

After looking endlessly for just the right place to eat in a sea of restaurants Charleston has to offer, this one hit the spot. Atmosphere was great, they had good music playing and everything was clean. The staff was attentive and prompt. Prices were reasonable and most importantly the food was delicious. Everything we ordered was great and I look forward to visiting here again next time I am in town.

This is a great place to choose! I came across it searching for something new. It seemed interesting, and with Bill Murray involved, I figured it would have some higher standards. It is nestled in a neighborhood off Rutledge Avenue, a little outside of downtown. It is not a place that if you are driving the main roads you will see, so you have to know where it is. The building is a renovated gas station / convenience store. The front door was unique...it is crocodile skin. Inside the door is a bar, with the seating area surrounding the bar. The staff was great. Savannah was our server and was fantastic. Great smile and interaction, perfect amount of attention to needs and refills, etc.. Some interesting cocktail combinations and starters. We tried the loaded fries...good choice. They arrive hot inside a small cast iron skillet, which is unique. I had a burger, which was cooked exactly as ordered, and had the right amount of juicyness to it. The Mac and Cheese was curly pasta, and a unique tasting cheese. Not exactly sure what, but it was enjoyable. Wife got the BLT. It was huge. She only ate half. The side fruit bowl had fresh strawberries, blueberries, cantaloupe, and pineapples. She loved both. I have to admit, I was happy with the choice. If you are looking for quality sandwiches / burgers, but don't want to deal with the traffic downtown, this is a great choice. Between the food, atmosphere, and excellent service, this will pleasantly surprise you. Only thing we didn't get was to see Mr. Murray, lol. Maybe next time. Take a chance, get away from your normal "go to" spots, you won't be disappointed.

The food was alright but a little pricey. The staff was friendly for the most part. My wife had to drink from my glass because the wait staff was busy, and we could not get a refill quickly enough. I had the Shrimp n Grits. It was tasty, just not many shrimp in the bowl. Pleasant atmosphere, probably will not return.

I have been coming here for years. Food is amazing. Atmosphere is cool and different than others in charleston. Prices are very reasonable. 2 times I have been i have been seated 2 different servers that were quite the opposite of attentive. If it was busy this would be acceptable, but it was around 3 in the afternoon and there might have been 15 people in the restaurant total.

Outstanding food and service in this charming old-school style neighborhood hangout. Drinks and menu selections are creative, yet offer enough southern familiarity to give you that ‘dining out at home’ feel.

Great neighborhood stop. The atmosphere was definitely lively, but in a very relaxed kind of way. Seating both inside and out with a large bar as well. The outdoor seating is definitely great and again a nice, casual atmosphere. The food is definitely very, very good. We had the Reuben egg rolls and their special was spinach artichoke dip. Both were excellent. The portion sizes for apps was a little small, but we had a group of 5. The entrees were great. The burger was excellent. I would definitely recommend this place.

Food was excellent. I had the Redeye burger while the rest of my family had shrimp and grits, and 2 different salads with shrimp. Service was good. The atmosphere was pretty good. It was obviously on old cab/gas station that had been converted to a restaurant.

My mom said, "ohh I liked it! And the service was really good." The sweet potato fries had a wonderful spice to them. I had the shrimp and grits plate which was incredibly savory and delicious. The pictures don't do it justice.

Nice ‘midtown’ vibe to this restaurant. Service was very good and the food was too! I had a varied Blue Cheese burger cooked the way I like it, the mac m cheese was delicious. Repeat the next time I’m in town.

The food was fantastic and full of flavor. We got the fried okra and the shishito pepper appetizers, which were cooked perfectly. The catfish entree was also really good with the butter grits underneath and a sort of jam in between. The atmosphere as nice and lively and quite close to the citadel. May be a bit of a walk but is about a 3 minute drive. Definitely worth stopping by, especially if you happen to be in the area.

I had such a yummy good time at the Burger Binge event. It started with the Diamond Dame Cocktail ( Tito’s Vodka , fresh strawberries, lemon and basil. Ime was delicious. I love a good Blue Cheese Burger and this one had smoked blue cheese, balsamic onion relish and grilled tomatoes.I loved this combination. The side of sweet potato fries was a hit as well. So yummy sips and bites all around. I like the vintage space and the patio. I love popping in here from time to time. Follow along with my foodie adventures @sipbiteandtasteit
