A last minute reservation in Charleston and turned out to be our favorite one yet! Amazing food, atmosphere and staff. Drinks are strong and seafood is good - what more can you ask for?! Will definitely come back!

The shipping grits that comes with squid ink 🐙 and black garlic was very tasty. I recommend it.

Rappahannock Oyster Bar is a nice seafood restaurant with a good selection of oysters. Definitely worth a stop when in Charleston. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxing. Service was very slow when we were there but I think they were short staffed that day. I can't wait to go back and definitely will change my Service rating if it speeds up.
Came here on a Friday afternoon for lunch with three friends. We had lots of the meals on the menu: oysters, whole fish, salads, grits, etc. All food was delicious. I come to this restaurant mostly on weekdays when there’s not much of a crowd. I always start with Olde Salt oysters and they are always great. I forget the blonde bartenders name but I always sit at the bar because he’s cool, witty, and his drinks are on point.

Every dish at Rappahannock is phenomenal and they all have a unique twist. I love a spicy bloody mary and they delivered! This restaurant also has a perfect atmosphere, convenient parking, and a super friendly staff.
