Of course since I was on that side of town, I had to stop by Maple Street Biscuit. I first ordered for delivery to my job for breakfast and I was immediately a fan! Maple Street Biscuit Really has a style of its own, from large fluffy season biscuits as a base to whatever delicious toppings you want on top. The chicken is seasoned to perfection, but I guarantee it is nothing you tasted before! It is so good. I guess you're wondering what I ordered Lol. Of course the 'The Squawking Goat' a delicious fluffy biscuit with goat cheese and drizzle in pepper jelly. It's a really good biscuit for $12 dollars! I will be back to dine in for a breakfast date!
Excellent quick quality breakfast spot
Great service with plenty of outdoor seating biscuits are good not the best but tasty and flaky
Great selection grits are spot on
Fried green tomatoes were top notch
Love their drink bar you can chose from ice tea soda hot and ice coffee
The best gravy I've ever had!!! The potato bowl with bacon was spot on. Delicious food. And the coffee is amazing!!
Decent spot for a huge biscuit with lots of extras. I like that the coffee and sodas are self serve. I prefer getting my own drink that way if my coffee bottoms out the only person I have to blame is the waiter. Be careful where you park. Traffic backs up so it may block you in. Recommend backing in and not parking near their door.
Oh. My. God. Best biscuits and gravy EVER. I had the Eggs-traordinary biscuits and gravy. Amazing. Perfect little kick to it. This meal spoke to my soul.
Love this spot. The staff here is attentive, friendly, and run a smooth operation. Props to management! If you come to Maple Street and aren't feeling a biscuit (which all options are delicious especially with the sausage gravy), try the Sunny O'Ryan - Breakfast Potatoes, Peppers, Onions, Ham and Cheddar Cheese topped with 2 Sunny Side Up Eggs! Delicious and great as an entree that fills you up just enough. My new Favorite! You also can get unlimited hot or iced coffee while eating-in which is amazing.
The food is so yummy! I am not a sausage gravy person, but even I liked the sausage gravy here. Hubby thought it was delish. He can't stop talking about the food! We look forward to returning before the end of vacation. What really stands out is the exceptional service. Above and beyond (thanks for the 'hot biscuit summer' stickers and wonderful cinnamon rolls) It was so good that I hadn't realized we had previously been to the Maple Street Biscuit in Savannah. Completely different vibe and atmosphere. Much prefer the one in Charleston. Highly recommend. Do yourself a favor and give it a go!
Excellent biscuits and gravy with and creamy gravy with a little spice. The maple meatball was good too. We did not get to try the waffles or chicken, so perhaps next time.
Omg this place is AMAZING. The sausage gravy has a small kick to it which kept us coming back for breakfast the days we were in Charleston. There was a guy would worked there (he was wearing a Milwaukee Bucks hat) and he was beyond kind and gave great service which was part of the reason we kept going back as well. 100% recommend this restaurant if you are in the Charleston area.
Perfect brunch spot. The cinnamon iced biscuits taste like Christmas morning and the Peach Berry Lemonade is absolutely refreshing. The customer service from the entire staff was very welcoming!!!
Maple Street Biscuit Company is an option when you want to start your day with a treat. They serve delicious biscuit meals reasonably priced. The building is attached to a parking lot and shopping center. The restaurant was clean with indoor and outdoor seating. The drinks are self serve and the coffee is not ideal, but you can walk over to muddy’s across the street for perfect espresso. I enjoyed Maple Street Biscuit and would return.
Staff was great! Super nice and personable! Food was amazing as well as their coffee and chai latte with maple vanilla syrup. If you are in the area visiting I highly recommend them!
first of all, this company is just an experience in itself. “name of the month” is much more fun than just giving them your birth name 😂
also, the biscuits are to. die. for! all hand made (you can even watch them roll the dough).
plenty of food (i can barely finish it all myself).
definitely recommend for breakfast, brunch, or lunch!
Arrived here for a 11:00 brunch. Lots of available seating. Very clean and open. In the back are some of the employees rolling out dough for homemade biscuits. The menu has many delicious brunch/breakfast/lunch choices. It was really hard to choose. I went with a "goat sandwich " ( I honestly can't remember the name). It was a homemade biscuit with fried chicken, a fried goat cheese medallion and red pepper jelly. Now, my only complaint was that my sandwich was drowned in the pepper jelly. I suggest asking for a sprinkling of it. There are just so many great flavors that you miss out due to the amount of pepper jelly. Overall everyone really enjoy the breakfast...the food was excellent quality and the staff was very friendly.
Grabbed a bite here before we went to the McLeod Plantation. The food was delicious. I couldn't wait to try it, which is why the picture of my dish looks messy. I had the eggs and sausage gravy on hash browns. My husband had the biscuits. Both were good. Place was clean, too.
My husband and I were visiting town we both agreed that this place was amazing. Everything on their menu sounded amazing and he must have ordered 2 or 3 items. I ordered 2 items. We couldn't decide on what we wanted. But it was all worth it. Omlett was amazing!!! Highly recommended
Really good! I got the retro breakfast, I could definitely tell they use top quality ingredients. The sauce and jam were great. That’s my new breakfast place
Chad was amazing! The food was so delicious and huge portion sizes! We had the Farmer chicken biscuit with the best apple butter on it, fresh squeezed orange juice made to order, sunshine in the garden bowl, and chocolate chip waffles! Definitely grab breakfast or brunch here!
