Very small and limited seating but absolutely amazing! Everything made to perfection! The young lady who took our order was great, so friendly! Probably some of the best sushi I have had in quite a while, not to mention the presentation just stunning.
I don’t believe they had indoor eating. I ordered and it was ready in 15 min! Absolutely delicious! The white/shrimp sauce for hibachi is delicious they only give one. $1 for any extra sauce such as the hibachi ones and spicy mayo. Variations of sodas.
This is and has been my go to sushi place in Charleston ever since they opened! If you are truly looking for good sushi and not concerned for some fancy atmosphere, this is the place. I apologize to one other restaurant because their HIBACHI is pretty damn Great. However, THIS place hands down..

Flew in from Houston, Texas, on a business trip to SC. Ate here, and the food was amazing! Ordered the edameme, spicy tuna roll, and shrimp fried rice. The roll was huge and amazing flavor! This place was very intimate and cozy. Would definitely go back if I'm in town.
I love this place. The food is so good and fresh. I usually get the beef negimake and sushi pizza with salmon. Everyone is so friendly. Everyone that I have brought here love it as well.
It was a miracle to find such a delightful place to have late supper after arriving late at our hotel. Every other place was closed and locked up tight. We did not expect to find such an economically depressed area! I hope things perk up for you all soon. I know this establishment is not responsible
Went to Hokkaido for the first time. We had a party of 7 which included my 3 grandchildren (6, 3, & 18 months). We had a wonderful meal; everything being fresh and tasty. Our server was quick and gracious and very accommodating with the kids which included the inevitable spilled water glass, shrimp
Delicious restaurant we were trying to find a restaurant within walking distance of our hotel and had vegetarian options. We weren’t sure how good it would be but it ended up being great. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!
Moved to Charleston from Pennsylvania a few months ago and was looking for my new sushi spot & I finally found it! So delicious. Ordered delivery from DoorDash and it didn’t disappoint.
Got Uber eats from here for a bachelorette picnic and everything was soooo good. The steak roll was amazingggggg. We’re from out of town and this was a great find!!
I order hibachi from Hokkaido regularly and it’s consistently my favorite take out hibachi. My go to order is the tofu hibachi with fried rice and side salad. The hibachi is enough to last two meals. The best part is the variety of vegetables in the hibachi: zucchini, carrots, mushrooms, broccoli. P
