Great place. Food was great service was very good given that the place was slammed busy on a holiday weekend. we both had steaks and they were cooked perfect. we will go back. and I would recommend this place for sure

Took a winter Sunday drive down to the beach and found this Tavern. The food was delicious. Great variety on the menu, wanted to try so many different dishes. We sat on the Tavern side, great atmosphere, great service. Can't wait to go back.
Everything was absolutely delicious! The filet mignon was so tender and cooked perfectly, that it stands out as my favorite item of the entire meal. In fact, it is in my top three list of the best filets I have ever had, and trust me when I say I have eaten many!

Great place out in the middle of nowhere. Very cool spot to have dinner or just relax. The food was excellent. Prices ranged from reasonable to pretty expensive for some dishes. Good selection of beers and specialty drinks. Waitress was very nice and attentive. If you are close or don't mind the drive it's well worth going to.
Place has great character! Good size with huge outdoor area in back with some live music events. Good size menu, service was solid and attentive but food took a long time to come out. Fries were amazing! Big burgers. Good portions in general. Bocci and cornhole activities available in “backyard” area. Good for families or just a couple friends.
Great spot in Charlestown to enjoy during the summer. They have a lawn area with corn hole and bocci. There’s indoor and outdoor seating. Best part is the live music venue that features a giant fire pit. The food is what you’d expect from a typically bar and the cocktails and draft beer list is extensive. They do get very busy so service can get bogged down. However, would recommend this spot to anyone in the area.

Drinks and food both very good, a mixup with who our server was so we actually had the bartender which slowed service, but he was very nice and professional. Would certainly recommend
We were passing through and stopped here for dinner. It was crowded, but we were seated in about 10 minutes. Our waitress was very good and she was funny. There were several items on the menu I wanted to try, but the Jagerschnitzel was too tempting. It did not disappoint. A nice crust on a flavorful piece of pork. The gravy was excellent. You can’t see in the picture, but there are mashed potatoes and red cabbage with apples. The cabbage was perfect. A little bit of spice balanced with the sweetness of the apples. And the portion was large. One of the few times I was not able to clean my plate. If I am ever in the area again, I will plan to stop here again.
The food is still great, but apps came out with one meal while the rest followed. They also overcooked my daughter's well burger....charred edges.
My husband and I went on a Thursday night about 7:30 No wait and offered a choice of seating. We both has fish and chips which were served piping hot and cooked perfectly. Good fries and cold Draft beer really cold and refreshing. Finished off with strawberry shortcake. Unusual vanilla creamy syrup and a heavy pound cake like base. Delicious! One of the most pleasant things was that the staff were all smiling and cheerful and it seemed genuine! Would definitely go back!
It was our first time at The Charlestown Rathskeller after it was highly recommended. And WOW!! We were so impressed. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We ordered the pretzel, which you have to get with the beer cheese. My wife’s watermelon margarita was so good, and we all loved our entrees. This is a place that is definitely worth the drive!!

We were a party 7 with a reservation for 6 on a Sat. We were seated right away, with in 5 minutes the server took our drink and app order of 2 orders of loaded fries. The fries were spot on. Drinks came back pretty fast follow by our food order 15 minutes later. I order the beef stroganoff. The meat was tender, noodles were cook perfectly. It could have used more seasoning. The cowboy burger was very taste. One person in our party order the Rubin and they said that was amazing.
Started off shaky with a very inexperienced server on his first day. Our table ended up being handed off to a more experienced server thankfully. Food came out fairly quickly and was terrific as usual.
Excellent fries!!!! Generous portions! Fun atmosphere. huge lobster rolls. This time around I got a huge salad and nachos were excellent. Live music on Friday night was a jazz trio that sounded fantastic. Cool. Not too packed, wait was 20 minutes for a table and we had drinks at the bar. Huge pretzel w cheese sauce made. A great dessert

We enjoy visiting this place and love their outdoor area! They have cornhole, boccei,and a good amount of outdoor seating along with indoor seating. We love their garlic parmesean wings as they were fully loaded with parmesean! We added blue cheese to dip the wings too which was delicious! The pretzel w/beer cheese, Cesar salad (though it didn't really include deviled eggs but hard boiled), and burgers were great too! I got the big cheese burger (no bun; trying to watch my carbs) & my husband got the bacon blue burger. We order medium for our burgers typically though we prefer medium rare. However, medium rare makes the burgers way too soggy for our liking with the bun. We also love their truffled fries but all of their fries are great for the most part! They have a good kids menu too! My son enjoyed his hot dog and fries. I also got the margarita special which was good! My husband got a Coors light which oddly tasted like there was lime in there. Service here is okay. Our waitress didn't even introduce herself so I didn't even know she was our waitress until she took our order. Our last time eating there was in August and there were tons of flies outside which was annoying for us but next time I'll bring a fan to help try to deter them. We have also tried the beef stroganoff which was different compared to others and we were not impressed. Overall, we enjoy this place!
Went to a concert for No Shoes Nation and this was a great spot. I think it was better because it rained, with the tent and awesome fire pit it was a fun night.
Had a great burger, and a beer. Nice atmosphere and service. Would have been nice if the fries had come with the burger, but they were worth getting on the side.
Went for the lobster roll! Delicious! Truffle fries hand cut and perfectly fried. Fish sandwich on brioche delicious. Good selection of craft beer. Charming atmosphere. Remote location...quiet but fun vibe. Bella our server was fabulous!!!
