Midwood Smokehouse - Charlotte - Photo album

Really great food & service. Excellent customer service. If you like beef ribs, they only have about 10 of them available on Sunday's and they go pretty quickly. Banana pudding is served cold and was good. Everything is served in large portions.
Midwood Smokehouse was pretty mid. I went on a recommendation but found it to be underwhelming. Our margaritas and old fashioneds were a little too sweet for the price range. All sides were pretty standard: Mac and cheese, hush puppies, collards, and some flash pickles. Unfortunately nothing stuck
The food was absolutely amazing! The cornbread was delicious.. best-selling! The pig out combo was awesome, for dessert, enjoy the pecan cobbler...so good! The service was outstanding. Ellen was nice and provided excellent recommendations. A place must visit if you are in Charlotte, NC
Couldn’t be happier with our entire experience, first of all, our server was the nicest most friendliest person we’ve ever met at a restaurant, I believe her name was Valerie, she walked us through the whole menu, we decided on the Carolina pulled pork plate and a cheesesteak sandwich. Both were so
Loved it!! A perfect stop if you’re looking for barbecue while staying in Charlotte!! Saw in the reviews that the burnt ends were good- they definitely lived up to it!!! Melt in your mouth! Got the Carolina pork myself and it was moist- so flavorful and good. My favorite thing was the quality of the
Great BBQ spot for lunch, Dinner, or to grab drinks. The Pulled Pork sando with the spicy BBQ sauce was really good. The meat was smokey and well seasoned. The hushpuppies were really good and don't sleep on the baked beans. The atmosphere was chill and service was great as well.
Absolutely some of the most excellent customer service and BBQ I've ever had! The local beer was great, too. The wait staff went above and beyond and were incredibly welcoming. The atmosphere was nice as well.
My wife and I shared the sampler. We love bbq and have eaten a good bit of it. Midwood is some of the best we have ever had. Ribs as good as any I’ve had in Memphis. 5 star brisket. Both the sliced and the burnt ends. The mustard chicken was a surprise that really delighted me. Most places don’t mak
We're from out of town and decided to try some true Southern bbq. And we were not disappointed! Such great food!!! We had tacos, brisket and banana pudding. Everything was very delicious. Ashley was our server. She was very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and very fun to talk with. I definitely
Had the burnt ends - amazing. Ordered the small... if I ordered the large I would have eaten it all. My wife had vinegar BBQ chicken.. she added regular BBQ sauce to it for more flavor. Our son had a brisket sandwich. He loved it. Sweet potato fries were great.
All I can say is you must eat here. If you're close enough to see the review, you're close enough to make it in your car and get over to this restaurant. I had the rack of ribs and the cornbread both absolutely amazing. The places very cozy and the staff are amazing. I will be coming here again.
Went here on a recommendation from a friend while visiting CLT. I’d give this spot a 4.5 if I could. Service was top notch, food was really good, and the place had a nice vibe. The only ding I would give Midwood would be on the collard greens. They weren’t terrible but among everything else that wa
I always have a great experience. Their burnt ends are my favorite. Love the Mac and 🧀 but the thing that brings me back is the banana 🍌 pudding 🍮 love it love it. Hushpuppies and beans are delicious. Please, if you visit Charlotte, stop by Midwood Smokehouse in Plaza Midwood See Ellen and Mr. John.
Massive beef rib was 39 and it was massive and tender, but a bit too salty. Also, it wasn't as juicy as I thought it would be. Overall, still ok, just not worth the price. Stick with the regular brisket and you'll be happier.
This barbecue is amazing! Ellen is the best! We missed out on the ribs sadly, but the burnt ends and desserts make up for missing the ribs.
Made a special trip from Augusta, GA just for this place. Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Would eat here all the time if I lived in the area. The burnt ends are incredible. Bacon-wrapped Jalapeños are spot on. The hush puppies are brilliant. The spicy BBQ sauce makes everything that much better
Oh my gosh!!! I love this place!! The burnt ends were the best!! Also the pecan cobbler is amazing!!! Try the broccoli casserole too. Great spot for a quick bite. Awesome atmosphere! Don’t forget to check out the restrooms! 😉
Food was really good. Only hiccup the pork wasn't hot enough from the kitchen so I had to send it back. It came back a fresh batch the same temp. The quality was there I could tell it. But I wanted hot food. So I sent back another time and it came out perfect. So just a note for the cooks. Heat that
